Introduction

This was the first work as a director for Nacho Vidal when he started in Evil Angel again. That’s the logical explanation about the title “Back 2 Evil”, though the film itself completes the meaning of this title. The whole film is divided in 5 vignettes, without any connection between them, apart from an obscure atmosphere. I've reviewed this one because Nacho Vidal always appears on AVN nominees, so this is a good time to choose this and talk about its good and bad aspects.

Extended opinion

I didn’t know how to start this review, because it’s a mix between gonzo and feature I’ve finally decided to make a review with each scene (without much details of the sex, just trying to let you know how good or bad is)..


Nacho, Velvet & Katja

Probably the most obscure scene in the whole film, and the best ambiented too. Nacho plays the role of a doctor or something, while Katja is unrecogniseable in the role of Geisha (good and bad, good because it’s another kind of Katja, bad because she isn’t the girl we always watch on our DVDs) and Velvet is the assistant of Nacho, with attractive costumes. The scene is quite good, but I’ve missed some things in sex (for example, more shoots of Katja and Velvet beautiful breasts), but the ass fetish is good (actually, a good film of Evil Angel shouldn’t forget this, though I really don’t get angry if nothing in this aspect is perfect, the real annoying thing for me is a bad film…), so the camera work is good The scene is quite long, by the way.
BOZ, Wesley & Alicia

This is the worst scene in the film. I like interracial scenes, but this is poor in everything. The girl doesn’t look OK (she’s fat for my likenings) and there’s no real chemistry. The story is not well developed and I’ve just liked the end. The camera work is poor and I don’t like it very much. DP is the only thing I’ve liked a bit.
Manuel, Nacho, Ashley & Julie

This scene also doesn’t present a very attractive story, but at least it’s decent. The best thing is the sex. I really loved both girls, though they haven’t got great breasts, but at least they are on fit (one of them has a well-built stomach, something I really like). I think girls will like the male performers, too, specially Nacho, who’s very famous in Spain, though most girls think he is not handsome. Both have great chemistry with girls, also very horny. The camera work is typical of gonzos, but you can enjoy most of the scene. It’s not the best nor the worst part of the movie.
Nacho & Avy

The kinkiest scene on the film (at least for me). Fans of porn stuff have already read that Avy is crazy about Nacho Vidal and she said to him several times she wants to be the girl of the spanish boy. This scene is a good filmation of it. Avy plays the role of slave or something, while Nacho is a gang with a gun. Fans of foot fetish and big boobs will love this scene, with lots of teasing (actually the penetration has a short length). I think it’s slightly inspired in Private Tanya Hyde’s films with a mix of Buttman (the butt shots are excellent, and the edition has a good rythim) and the result is very good.
Nacho & Belladonna

The last scene is probably the best (and my favourite one, of course), starring the famous Belladonna and her boyfriend by that time, Nacho Vidal. Bella is an Evil Angel (lol) who is trapped in a cage. Nacho opens the door and he does what he better knows: fuck his girl. If precedent scene had a great chemistry between Avy and Nacho, this one has even more hot connection! Bella is very pleased with Nacho, and Nacho seems to be the same way of feelings. The excellent camera work (the best filmed scene and the nearest to a mainstream film recording), the great commented chemistry and some good fetishes (breaking some costumes, which looks really sexy) are the reasons why I love this vignette.

The DVD

I’ve heard good things about Evil Angel DVDs. Unfortunately, the copy I’ve got it’s quite different, because it’s the Spanish edition. Actually, the menus are good, but I’d have prefered the original stuff. And the photobook is slighty changed: the photos appear in a “broken-TV style” which results uncomfortable to watch them. The extras are ok, I specially love the trailers.

Overall Thoughts

Nacho has gone better and better along his career. Back 2 Evil is another step, though not actually the most ambitious project, but a great film which mix gonzo and feature, trying to get in the middle and almost getting succesful on that objective. I won’t score this film with 5 stars, but I think it’s a good purchase, even better if you find it on bargains, as I did.
