Synopsis:
This film is a series of five vignettes that focus more on establishing a setting than a mini-plot line.

Audio/Video:
Back 2 Evil is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track which works alright for the material being presented in the film. Given the style of the film and the music and effects in the film I would have loved to have heard it in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround mix as I feel it would have enhanced the viewing experience. This isn't to say that there is anything wrong with the existing Stereo mix, it just could have sounded even better. The dialog is clear and easy to hear at all times. Evil Angel hasn't included any foreign language tracks or any subtitle options for the feature film.

Back 2 Evil is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The picture presentation, as we have all come to expect from Evil Angel, is perfect with a crisp clear picture exhibiting perfect color levels. Given the style of the film, I would have liked to have seen this film presented in widescreen to set it apart from the standard Evil Angel fare as it appears that a lot of work went into creating the visual look of the film and I think a widescreen presentation would have helped set it apart. As with the audio, this isn't stated to imply that there is anything wrong with the picture, just mere wishes on the part of this viewer.

Special Features:
Evil Angel has included several extras on the disc for your continued viewing enjoyment. There is a behind the scenes piece with backstage, out take, extra sex and scene preparation footage. There is a photo gallery that contains 38 stills that you flip through yourself. There are Evil Angel filmographies for Katja Kassin, Ashley Long, Julie Night, Avy Scott, and Belladonna. There is a cast list that lists the participants of each scene and there is a fetish menu that allows you to jump to the instances in the scenes where blow jobs, DP, anal, and cum shots occur.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with simple animated menus that have a nice eerie feel to them accompanied by audio stimuli. The menus look great and help set the mood for the forthcoming movie. There are twelve chapters available from the chapter menu for the feature film and 42 chapter stops within the feature film itself. The chapters on the menu are identified by a video clip, the chapter range within the film and the female stars present in the scene. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
The only other film that I have seen by Nacho Vidal is Nacho: Latin Psycho 2: Crazy Assylum, which I was very disappointed in. Although I am not a big fan of all the sex acts performed in this film, on all levels I enjoyed this film much more than my previous Nacho experience. What I liked most about this film is the different feel to most of the scenes present which makes it a unique piece of work. There is a dark theme to most of the film which I felt made the film all the more enjoyable to watch. It starts out with a creepy and very well done opening that sets the initial tone for the entire film.

The technical proficiency exhibited in the film is excellent. The best scenes are lit perfectly albeit rather darkly. The lighting enhances the mood of the scenes and if they had been shot with bright lighting it would have completely ruined them. Some viewers may not like the dark look of those scenes though and if you are someone who likes a brightly lit scene, this may not be the best film for you. Two of the scenes, the more standard scenes, and less enjoyable in my opinion, are brightly lit. The film features some excellent camera work, far above what I was expecting. The shots are framed perfectly and have a nice professional look to them.

The sex scenes are where I had the most problem with the film. They were generally rougher than I tend to like. If they had been toned down a little, my enjoyment of the film would have been much higher. This is definitely a film for viewers that like nastier rougher sex. Wesley Pipes with his gangsta talk and Boz taking a long time to cum brought down their scene heavily. Bella Donna's look of distress also brought down my enjoyment of her scene. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, anilingus, anal fingering, pussy fingering, feet, P2M, A2M, double oral penetration, hand jobs, DP, male masturbation, female masturbation and bondage. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

Apparently ex-Elegant Angel director Mason had a hand in making the film. As to how far her participation went in the making the film has been argued very differently by both sides. Tricia Devereaux, from Evil Angel, has publicly stated that the film was done by Nacho and that she feels confident that it is a Nacho Vidal film. I've included this information just for the sake of completeness and thoroughness of the review.

Scene Synopsis:
The first scene features Velvet Rose, Katja Kassin and Nacho Vidal and starts out with Velvet giving Nacho a blow job which quickly turns into some face fucking. Then Velvet turns Nacho over to Katja for a blow job, which also quickly turns into some face fucking very fast. They move to a new location and Katja resumes giving Nacho a blow job while Velvet checks out her ass. Parting Thoughts:
Back 2 Evil is a very different film with an overall dark atmosphere and has some excellent features especially in the technical areas of the film. The sex was rougher and nastier than I tend to like but viewers that like that side of sex should find this film to be a complete masterpiece. Viewers that like a full plot with their adult fare or tamer sex will probably want to skip this title. If you are unsure of the film give it a rental and find out if it is for you.
