The plot is thin and the acting for some of the cast is sketchy but the sex scenes aren't bad. Prisoner of Paradise is nicely shot. Private must have decided it was time to cash in one last time...errr, I mean pay loving tribute to The Woodman. In a big way this is part 1 of a big ol 10 part series (Private proclaims them to be breathtaking) on the life and times of Pierre Woodman. This one has tons of interviews with Woodman and what must be behind the scenes footage all put together with some voiceover narration. Within the movie you get this mixed in with 6 best of sex scenes, such as a scene from Tatiana, a scene from The Pyramid (the great 3 part series though I didnt think the scene presented was that great) and what looks to be a Nikki Anderson fucking from a Private Castings movie (possibly her first anal?) This last one features Woodman and a locked down camera so it isnt very interesting. In the end, I dont think his best work is represented here, but they have 9 more in the series to prove it. It is an average comp DVD with both good and bad scenes, and varying levels of heat. While not quite as bad as Hottest Pink, the technical quality of the picture is seriously degraded from the original DVDs the scenes were taken from. More companies should should take more notice of this and give us great looking transfers like this title does. It's not a perfect transfer, but it's great. As far as music, there are only actual R&B and other fine quality music which are played in these intros that have nothing to do with sex. These intros are to set the mood. What I thought about this? Awesome. But as far as having porn music in the sexual scenes, there is no tunes. Just the sounds of breathing, slapping, and banging. Perfect. Notes: This is my first review for ADT. I decided to begin reviewing this series because it is inexpensive and one of my favorite series (good value). Anyway, here goes with the first volume. Synopsis This series by Frank Thring is very sexy. Think Private on a lower budget. These are definitely not akin to his Pirate releases (no fetish stuff here), but rather his Private Gold releases. Also, with the exception of an occasional outside shot of the girl walking around, this series is basically filmed indoors in sparse settings. But the sex is hot, the gonzo factor is apparent, anal and oral are everpresent, and the girls look yummy! There are 8 girls in 8 scenes. Technical The technical aspects of this first volume are a little sub-par. There is noticeable pixelation. If you are a video snob, pass this one up (in fact much of the series suffers from technical glitches). But it is not awful by a long shot. Highlights Barbara - This blonde is a serious cutie!
