Prisoner Of Paradise Review

Review:
An already-bereft, World War 2 Navy man, John Holmes, finds himself stranded and fending for himself on a near-deserted island in the South Pacific after his ship goes down out at sea. Compounding his problems, he soon discovers that he's not alone in this "paradise", as the Nazis have set up a small, nearby radio-monitoring camp staffed by a pervy, lushy letch of a commander and his two carnal-crazy fraulein underlings. In attempting to rescue a pair of nurses also held captive at the camp, Holmes soon finds himself both a prisoner, as well, and at the mercy of this kinky, sadistic, Hitler-obsessed crew. Such is the case in "Prisoner of Paradise", a very good, 1980 release from VCX and directors Gail Palmer and Bob Chinn. As campy and stereotypical as can be, this film features Holmes in yet another "hero" type role, complementing his Johnny Wadd persona well, as the young dick-slinger must rely on his wits...and his massive cock...to save the ladies and the day. While not possessing of the most intricate of plots, this flick does have enough of one to keep the viewer's attention, and its bizarre (at least in a modern context) premise plays perfectly for fans of vintage, over-the-top cheese-and-sleaze. Indeed, this film is as fun as it is ridiculous, and--while not superior in its sex--still packs enough of an erotic punch to get the job done. For those looking for something a bit different in their classics, though still relatively well done, and in a distinctly campy vein, this one's worthy of a look.

In terms of the sex, Scene One features a flashback sequence to John Holmes and his Asian lover, Mai Lin, giving it a go just prior to his fateful voyage (vaginal). In Scene Two, a blonde Nazi bimbo, Seka, rapes a captive American nurse, Brenda Vargo, as her German buddy holds her down upon a desk at the camp (fingers, tongues). Scene Three finds Holmes captured by the Nazis, including Sue Carol and Seka, who force themselves upon him at gunpoint..."poor bastard" (oral on Carol by Holmes, external gun masturbation by Carol, vaginal by Seka ; pop on Seka's tummy). In Scene Four, the Nazi commander makes the other captive nurse, the dishwater blonde Jayne Paygan, briefly blow Holmes in front of him and his frauleins...all after Sue Carol whips out Holmes' massive meat and gives him a few quick strokes. Scene Five, a continuation of the prior segment, has Holmes relegated to the corner as the commander instructs his underlings, Seka and Sue Carol, to lez out with Paygan (fingers and tongues by Seka, R-rated action by Carol). Then, the commander once again forces Holmes to fuck Paygan, this time after violently throwing her over a desk (oral, vaginal ; facial ; Scene Six). In Scene Seven, Holmes' Asian guard who's taken a liking to him, Jade Wong, blows and fucks him in the holding tent, as he flashbacks to the encounter with his girl, Mai Lin, from Scene One (oral, vaginal). Corny porny stuff!
