Initial Expectations: What I’ve seen from Marc Dorcel has been very impressive. I’m hoping for more good stuff here.

Initial Reaction: It’s a well done movie, but some of the sex feels a little mechanical.

Who Should Watch It : Fans of Euro sex, more artistic scenes, and couples

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants down and dirty sex without making it look pretty

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well done. The English track is well balanced and only during the dialogue portions. When it comes to the sex portions, the original audio is used, but does seem slightly dubbed in places even when I compared it to the original. . I’ve always wondered why companies didn’t do this for dubbed features, as the original audio is almost always better for sex scenes and moans seem to translate well in any language. The video has a little grain to it, but I think Marc Dorcel productions are normally shot on film, in which case it looks very good.

Music: The music is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and, like quite a bit of Euro porn, doesn’t feel like typical porn music. It also comes and goes throughout the scenes, so I frequently didn’t notice it.

Menus: The main menu has a nice little bit of animation including sex from the movie that’s very tastefully done. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a still from the scene.

The Feature: When communication breaks down between couples, and they spend less and less time together, suspicions can run wild. Such has happened between Bolivia Samsonite and Mike Foster. They’re constantly imagining their significant other getting it on with somebody other than them, and sometimes even imagine doing somebody new themselves. When their maid starts pointing suspicious things out, things can’t improve.

Mike Foster starts things out fantasizing about banging his maid. Looking at her cute face and great natural body, I’m surprised it doesn’t happen more often. She moves to go down on him, but instead he clears off the table and helps her up there so he can work her over first. Suspicion shows very well what can happen when we let our suspicions take over in a relationship. The progression is very nicely done, and the cast plays the emotions extremely well. It helps to make Suspicion a strong movie even though the chemistry in many of the scenes lacks a little. The sex is a little different from many European features in that it isn’t as dominated by anal sex as many are. Instead it blends some nice European style with a variety of sex to produce a well done feature that many couples will be able to enjoy.

Overall: Currently, Suspicion can be found online for between $22 and $28 with most stores offering it for under $25. This seems to be pushing it a little for this DVD. The movie is well acted and scripted, but some of the sex feels a little mechanical. It does have a very good transfer, but the extras seem to be lacking.

Note to Wicked / Marc Dorcel Productions: Many of the European stars aren’t that well known in the states, so it would be great to see an expanded bio section. Even a screen that contains photos of all the stars would be great.
