takes us on another trip in search of top talent. As always, the
roughly-shot casting interviews are backed up with coverage of photo
shoots and sex scenes from Private productions as the girls make
their first big steps in this wonderful world of porn…
Christiane
De Nerville
Christiane, AKA Julia Swen or Nannes Beaumont, is a long legged
blonde with a notable sparkle in her eye. She does rather appeal
to me even if she isn't an absolute classical beauty. Maybe it's
her forthright but pleasant manner, her good English and her honest
appraisal of the magazines she has to peruse to get an idea of Pierre's
work. She's initially only interested in nude shots, and agrees
to strip first - great slim, tan body - and talk later.
Christiane seems to reckon the hard stuff is outwith her morality,
or words to that effect, and has only had one boyfriend with who
she's recently split. It's therefore quite a jump to reconcile to
then see her in the example scene used here, and in plenty others,
seemingly getting off on some pretty strong sex. Unfortunately,
the scene chosen to represent her talents is one of Pierre's cringe-inducing
attempts at a fetish scenario. In this, Christiane plays a dominatrix
overseeing two brunettes and a hooded guy, all suitably attired,
in action that includes oral, anal and some big dildos into tight
bums. The worst aspect is her running commentary on the whole thing
in a voice that quickly becomes grating and is only silenced when
she squeezes that sizeable toy into her ass, all moral objections
a distant memory.

Nathalie
This petite Franco-Asian brunette is another who finds Pierre's
dirty mags disgusting, and it takes some amount of talking by Mr
Woodman to get her to divest herself of her clothing. In the intervening
minutes, Pierre lays on the psychological angle with a heavy hand,
much of it debatable in the extreme. He claims these pictures will
not be shown in public (you can see his nose extending by the camera
as he says it) and that he only shoots these tapes so there's a
record of girls understanding what's involved and agreeing to it,
so they can't turn around at a later date and say "he made me do
it". Frankly, it's almost incidental that she has quite a neat little
figure when she finally, shyly, strips off after much persuasion.
So, given that it took so much to even get her bra off, it might
theoretically be surprising to see her dolled up in white lingerie
and stockings taking part in a DP with Akim and David Perry. But
as we know by now, it's no surprise at all. Perry is but a callow
youth here and takes advantage to shag her a little harder than
really is necessary when merely posing for stills. The guys come
over her face and fluffy hair, which she looks positively thrilled
about

Brigita
A trim-figured PE student with a "youthful" complexion (don't you
mean spotty - plain talkin' editor), Brigita supplies more
mixed reactions for Pierre to deal with. Her smiling face as she
intenely peruses the magazines says "yes", and then she turns round
and proclaims them disgusting. Right. There's a big cut for off-screen
"chat", which always annoys me as so often we get the impression
that the truly key moments happen away from the camera. Her answers
to the usual rude questions are largely predictable, to the extent
that Pierre is completing her responses before she's even finished.
They move on to the usual strip, which reveals the collars and cuffs
don't match - her hair is blonde but she's really a redhead. Still,
her body is fit and her sparkling eyes and sweet smile are most
alluring.
On to a scene from Fatal Orchid, one that Private have already had
some mileage out of in previous compilations. This pleasingly pervy
little scenario has Katja Kean blindfolded by Andrew Youngman as
she enters into a group scene along with Brigita and Anastasia (AKA
Bolivia Samsonite). The latter pair use odd little metal toys on
themselves and then on Katja. There's some very mild girl-girl action
and some anal for Katja and while I can't deny it's all quite stilted,
it looks pretty good and the girls do all wear superb stockings.
It isn't the best scene to show off Brigita, in all honesty, but
then looking at her profile there appears to have been little choice.

Budapest, September 1997. Sex scene: Fatal Orchid
Victoria
Victoria is a slim brunette of 20 years of age; she's pretty but
looks a touch nervous as she's confronted with Pierre's double assault
of dirty magazines and indiscreet questioning. Still, her face lights
up revealingly when she's asked about getting sperm in her mouth
- naughty girl! Her attitude is pleasant and she's ready to strip
out of her low-cut white outfit to show off her body - slim, but
with agreeably full boobs. There's a mildly diverting if quite routine
scene from Sweet Baby 2 - that's what it was called, why change
it - where Victoria teams up with pixie-like blond Alexandra to
take on Philippe Soine in a colourful pool-side setting. There's
oral, a little girl-girl play, straight sex and some anal for Victoria,
who appears to endure rather than enjoy it. Then Philippe jerks
off onto their tongues and the girls smile sweetly in time-honoured
fashion.

Gina
Giving her name as "Anita", Gina is a really attractive tall, slim
girl with reddish brown hair who, after another relatively straightforward
interview, really comes into her own in a photo shoot scene where
I think she looks really amazing. In the interview - her English
is far better than Pierre's - she reveals a dislike of anal but
lo and behold, here she is in anal and DP action, albeit posed for
stills, and looking just great doing it. There's a really erotic
little cameo moment where Richard Lengin, one of her co-stars, runs
his hands over her smooth, blemish free skin and for just one fleeting
second one can almost share the sensation he must be experiencing
there.
Pierre brings us back to reality with a bump with a nonetheless
enjoyable look at the shooting of a scene for Pyramid 3. Now with
red-blonde hair, and looking like another Anita, Gina shares some
light-hearted moments with co-star Nikki Anderson before getting
down to the serious business of an anal scene with Akim in this
absolutely ghastly Egyptian style set, all under Pierre's verbose
direction.

Pyramid 3
Mony
Perhaps attempting to avoid being just another Monika, Mony is a
tan blonde with a tousled blonde mane. Taking a good look at the
magazines, she gives us the chance to note her natural beauty and,
as Pierre puts it, "a certain shine in her eye". Her candid revelations
of a fairly extensive sexual experience even at the age of 18 cause
Pierre to blurt out some pretty choice comments, but for me it's
the look in her wide eyes when she reveals she likes to be submissive
that really does it. She seems fun and genuine too - I think she's
fabulous.
There's some amusing backstage coverage of a trip to Kenya where
the in-flight hijinks don't go down at all well with Tania Russof,
Mrs Woodman to you, squire. After a few location shots we finally
get to see Mony in action and unfortunately the examples chosen
are hardly prime material. There's coverage of a photo shoot and
a cursory glance at a scene from Sex Therapy before a full sex scene
taken at the same time as the preceding photo shoot. With Deloin
and Terminator supplying the dicks, sparks do not fly though seeing
Mony swishing her blonde locks around in this sun drenched spot,
in the jungle by deep blue seas, at least prompts some pleasant
thoughts. One can dream…

Sex scene: Private XXX 2
Anette
Now I always reckoned that well built, dark-haired Anette, AKA Black
Diamond, looked like a bit of a handful. Sure enough, this interview
is something of a struggle but mainly due to linguistic shortcomings.
For example, Pierre asks if she knows his business. She says no.
Frustrated, he comments that he didn't pay her plane ticket to Paris
just for a holiday. "Porno!" she says, finally realising what he's
on about. It seems she wants to be a porn star, but having only
been with one boy in her life, this could prove problematic.
And so the interview proceeds in a frequently garbled mix of French,
English and Magyar, from both parties, the highlight really being
the way her face goes from a frown to a smile and back. Delightful.
Somehow Pierre gets her to admit to being a masochist, though one
can only wonder if she really knows what that means. Finally, it's
kit off time and while Pierre may take the piss out of her shoes,
he can't deny that her super, tanned body, super tits and long dark
hair combine to make her look naturally gorgeous - as good as she
does in any movie I've seen, in fact.
Moving swiftly past an unfortunate occurrence during the strip and
pose part of the interview, let's conclude by picking over the main
dish of the day, the sex initiation. Starting with the usual relaxing
cunnilingus, Pierre quickly has Anette reacting quite vociferously
to his attentions, and she continues to do so in response to some
fairly stern treatment, as Pierre slaps her face and tits, pulls
her hair and shags her very firmly indeed. No doubt people may object
to this as always, but her body language never hints at any reluctance
- indeed, check out the enthusiasm with which she sucks him off
at the end - and with her tits quivering deliciously as she rides
on top, I for one have no qualms about enjoying the show. The strange
thing is that it's once he's really pounding her ass that she's
most responsive, which is odd as she often avoids anal sex in other
scenes. Did Pierre put her off, or does no-one else measure up?

Beatrix
While dark-haired student Beatrix is undeniably attractive, it's
pretty evident that it will take some work to convince her. The
signs aren't good when Pierre says to his translator that he wants
Beatrix to strip off first, as he's worried about what she'll think.
She seems only interested in doing soft-core shots and sure enough
the hard-core magazines prove just too hard. Pierre gets the translator
to show her a photo-journal with some images of real-life violence
to accompany his comparison of the supposedly disgusting pornography
with the way people idly consume violent images on the nightly news
along with their evening meal. There's just no convincing her. It's
disgusting and that's that.

Conclusion
Without having quite as many well-known names or faces as some editions,
Castings 33 perhaps lacks a little in terms of broader appeal for
those beyond the hardcore of series devotees with the choice of
sex scenes and photo shoots being quite mediocre at times. Nonetheless,
there are a few revealing moments, rare as they are, that do provide
more than a little interest and some genuinely delightful girls
with whom I had only the faintest of familiarity - Mony and Gina
especially - and so there's plenty to keep me hooked, with the sex
initiation being just about the best scene I've witnessed featuring
Anette.
DVD
Comments
The picture quality of the interviews is, due to their nature, basic
at best, poor in the case of the Nathalie casting, and the sound
is simply functional. Three audio languages (French, German, English)
are supplemented by several more subtitle sets. There's a fairly
standard selection of extra features, from photos to production
notes and trailers, plus the usual Private DVD-Rom section with
more promotional material.
