Hollywood Guru is a couples flick featuring some decent talent and okay sex action, but it could put a stroker to sleep quickly. The predictably soft music throughout is an insomniacs best friend. It even plays during the Behind the Scenes bonus feature. Zzzzzz. The movie employs Adam & Eves traditional camera work, that is, lots of Playboy Channel shooting. There are more shots of the couples kissing and fondling then there are of close-ups of actual penetration. There are no anal scenes and no facials in director Nicholas Steeles effort. Title: Caribbean Undercover Released by: Ultimate Pictures for Adam & Eve There are a few things about adult movies that really turn me off. One of them is this little trick that some directors use to drag a scene on through the use of slow motion. They think that this makes the movie look a little more "artistic" rather than just having two people getting it on. I, however, think it kills an otherwise steamy scene. Unfortunately for me, *Im* not the one who calls the shots at Adam and Eve, otherwise the use of slow motion in their signature productions would be kept to an absolute bare minimum. This is one of the corniest dvd's I have ever seen. But for some reason I really liked it. The beginning scene with Stacey Valentine and some other fine chick is really hot. At any rate, Ive learnt my lesson and the only thing now preventing me from making intelligent DVD choices is a lack of money. Consult also DeathIncarnates review or reviewers summary for more thoughts on the good and bad of Tattoo. Tattoo isnt all bad but its an ordinary skin flick at best. The story revolves around an attraction (I use the term lightly in relation to Ariana) whose body is covered with magical tattoos that suck her audience into their sexual fantasies. The story is passable, the set- ups are good, the acting is decent and there are some impressive special effects to boot. EXTRAS: None. Zero. Nada. NOTES: I assume the lack of a time code is why I cant jump to any point with PowerDVD a major annoyance. [read the full review]
