'Fantasy Chamber'

A film directed by Cameron Grant

Production date Feb. 15 1995

Starring Nikole Lace, Kylie Ireland, Barbara Doll, Misty Rain, Mark Davis, Tony Tedeschi and a whole bunch of other guys n'gals..

FC is one of Cameron Grant's rather stylish retreads into Andrew Blake territory (esp. Night Trips), with relatively high production values (considering the release date), good cinematography and beautiful women engaged in hot sex (definitely hotter than in a usual Blake flick!) with a flimsy storyline to connect the couplings. In fact, let's start with the easy part :)

Story synopsis :

As I said, there's almost no plot to speak of :

Nikole Lace (who's stunningly beautiful!) plays a woman who offers herself to a dubious experiment where she's supposed to lie down in a giant apparatus filled with water, the titular fantasy chamber, where(after some hokey Special FX transition) she is basically able to see all her sexual fantasies.

After her initial experiences she even convinces her friend Jill (the delicious Kylie Ireland) to do the same, while she gets hot and heavy with her boyfriend (Steven Drake). But surprise, surprise, our leading lady disappears from the arms of her significant other just as they were getting cosy.. and the same thing seems to have happened to Jill too!

Drakey-boy goes right to a round of Q&A with the lead scientist responsible for this malfeasance, but the latter denies even knowing the two ladies.. all the same offering to Drake the possibility to use the machine himself (which he does of course : never waste the opportunity of a sex scene or two in a porn film!)

The story ends on a somewhat cheap note, though I won't spoil it.. you'll have to see for yourselves.

The sex scenes :

There are, count'em, 11 (!) sex scenes in this picture and they are mostly worth the trouble of staying off the fast-forward button.

"Reflections"

This takes place in a hall of mirrors, an opportunity Grant uses to fool us into thinking that dozens of bodies are writhing one pressed to the other while in fact there are only three : Mark Davis with Barbara Doll (an okay blonde) and Nikole Lace. In fact the scene starts out with the two women eating each other and playing around, it then continues with Mr. Davis being stripped of his pants by the 2 voracious ladeez. His big (and I mean big) 'member' is then summarily devoured by one girl while the other gives him a rim job.. the scene goes on through the usual positions (anal, doggy etc.) then Nikole and Mark do a standing 69 (looks pretty good) until a good double facial rounds it off.

One should note that there's only music during this scene (jazzy and somewhat annoying after 3-4 minutes), the sexual sounds are not heard! This is a good enough scene to start off the feature..

Garden Party :

TT Boy and the unbelievably gorgeous Vanessa Chase (a shame I haven't discovered her earlier!) take a walk in the park (in renaissance era clothes) but disrobe for a spot of hanky-panky (as they say..) almost immediately.. This is another great scene, from the oral opening (both pretty short cunnilingus and a sensual BJ) to the fucking, though there are only two positions (standing missionary and doggy, both anal and vaginal) they look very erotic with great camerawork and locations. Both seem into what they are doing and to see a natural, un- tattooed woman for a change is a relief!

TT Boy actually comes almost in her ass, her sphincter still being open as his cum runs down, and onto her pussy lips. I wouldn't normally like such an ending but here it looks great..

Shower :

After Nikole seemingly exits the fantasy chamber, a fantasy is triggered where she showers, while suddenly Peter North is holding her from behind. She immediately proceeds to the blowjob (very well-done) and there's some sex until he comes with the usual volume of goo landing on her open- mouthed face. A really good cumshot! The scene itself is pretty short though.. oh well, on to the next one.

Biker :

Kylie Ireland's first trip into dream land stars her and Alex Sanders as well as Vince Voyeur as two bikers who (without any story setup) bonk her in a 5-minute scene where (at first) she blows Voyeur while getting it from Sanders doggie- style, and then reverses the configuration. Since I like Kylie, the scene is not bad in my opinion, but it's not as great as the other ones so far. The high point is the facial she receives after sucking Sanders off and taking it all on her tongue and chin.

Distortion :

This is a boring scene that's only interesting to watch for the, well, distortion of the image Grant achieves by twisting and stretching the film image.. furthermore the whole scene is set in a black room which is lit blood red, and filled with smoke. The effect is nice but definitely not interesting enough to keep the viewer's attention for the whole 6-7 minutes.. Oh yes, the 'athletes' are Steven St. Croix and Anna Malle

Domination :

The last of Kylie's fantasies features her and Sindee Coxx (who looks a lot like Nikole!) in a girl/girl scene of light BDSM.. does nothing for me, sorry. There's some pussy licking, some riding and sucking on a fake cock, and Nikole virtually riding Kylie (going so far as to spank her ass and to pull her hair back like a mane) at the end.

Seduction :

Nikole meanwhile is horny for her boyfriend Steve Drake and invites him to get some action. This is another relatively short scene, featuring a great blowjob by Nikole and a bit of sex (nothing special here) before returning to some oral footage and the climactic cumshot (this woman is definitely not afraid of cum, she receives it on the face, again!)

Latex Altar :

Drake's first fantasy while locked in the apparatus features Misty Rain, Jenteal (a stunner back then and still today) and Felecia in a fetish-oriented (again) lesbian scene..

Sadly this is the low point of the flick : The scene goes on for almost 15 minutes and features no real passion, though lovers of leather gear, buttplugs and candle wax might be more interested. I found it to be by the numbers, and far too long, every girl taking turns to be subjected to the usual stuff (dildos, oral etc.) by the 2 others ad nauseam..

Thunder Storm :

This is almost as boring as the last scene (though thankfully much shorter), with Drake and Rebecca Lord going through the motions (BJ, vaginal sex, moderate facial) in front of a 'storm cloud' background that is obviously computer-generated. Herein lies the problem since the bluescreen work is very bad (I encountered the same problem in at least 1 scene of Ninn's 'Latex') and you often can't even really see what's going on! ---> fast-forward

Power Plant :

The last scene is better but still not as good as the first 6 or 7 :

Bionca (who looks rather old here) seems to offer innocent Jordan Lee's services to steel-workers Tony Tedeschi, Nick East and Kyle Phillips.. before long all five of them go at it between the metal chains and pillars. At least this scene looks pretty good.. the sex is more or less passionate and we even get to see a DP (though a rather short one) and of course a double facial. Not bad.

The DVD :

A disappointment is what the studio has done with the DVD : The video quality could definitely be better (though film transfers always seem to be mediocre, with lots of grain and imperfect color development), the scene with Drake and Lord looks especially bad. The music and sound effects are not very good in the first place, the transfer is okay though (maybe a bit muted at times) .

There are almost no extras to speak of, a boring photo gallery and okay biographies is all you get for your money.

Conclusion :

An okay film, this offers a lot of sex for your money, and many fan favourites (Kylie, Felecia) in action, and well filmed to boot. I'm always somewhat disappointed with all-sex features since it's pretty hard to sit through 109 minutes (in this case) without any real plot to hang on to, but for what it is, it's pretty good.

The DVD is another matter, of course, though if you like the movie you shouldn't necessarily be put off by the so-so transfer. I wouldn't buy it if I owned the VHS tape, though..
