Review :

Hoho, it's been a long time since Adam & Eve disappointed me (since I never had any high expectations for their relases, that's why :)) but I actually though this movie might just work. Nick Orleans should be an alright director (though I still haven't seen any good movies directed by him) and Jill Kelly's nice too. The answer is nope, the movie definitely does NOT work, and I was barely able to sit through it. I almost dozed off during the dialogue (terrible plot, and badly acted too) and this trend unfortunately continued during the sex scenes.. Obviously the stimuli from my TV screen were too feeble for my nerves to register anything.

I don't even really want to describe the sex scenes in detail, again, I don't know a lot of the cast.. but the first scene as well as the second-to-last one were admittedly okay.

The 'story' involves two scientists (apparently, Chennin Blanc and Cheyenne Collins, thanks Astroknight :) ) who investigate mysterious disappearances during sex. If one has a great orgasm, he or she gets sucked into the 'Blue Matrix' an alternate universe (OK, at least a room with some drapes and blue lights) where people fuck a lot (not unlike some places I know) and where we first see Jill Kelly (actually, we only see her for a few minutes and a single sex scene, hardly worth putting her on the cover for..) walking around leather-clad.

We then get several sex scenes (7 in total) taking place either in the matrix, or as performed for the scientists, in their 'lab'. Salina Rey and Billy Glide make the exception to the rule, as the movie opens to them having sex (and I admit that she's quite a fine lady) with a GREAT BJ, ruined somewhat by slow-motion, and so- so sex. IMHO the scene is too long, so when Billy disappears I don't really complain.

The other good scene has Chenin and Cheyenne having sex almost at the end of the movie (yes, they both disappear after the cumshot). Our lady scientist takes a good anal ramming, and sucks a mean cock. She's pretty, too, which I can't really say for every woman here.

Jill only appears in the last scene (after spouting some terribel gibberish about the blue matrix being a better world, blah blah), with Evan Stone and Alec Metro (surprise, two guys looking good in a porno movie) teaming up to bang her. There's a long ass-licking segment where Alec's at the giving end of tonguing Jill's anus while Evan gets a BJ out of her. The scene is not really hot though, because there wasn't any real passion in it.. the tit-cumshot at the end left me cold, too.

Tina Tyler fans get a double hand-job (and BJ) for Herschel Savage and Evan Stone (no real scene here! Bummer) , there's Alexandra Silk and Ian Daniels having a go (including anal), Jack Hammer (iecch) and Ginger Paige team up for a boring scene and Salina tries some sapphic loving with Taylor St. Claire (who doesn't look so good here)..

Oh yes, anal fans do get a really great scene though, since Vivian Valentine (very pretty!) takes Dave Hardman's cock in her butt for a LONG time, and she seems to love every second of it. People who like anal scenes where the woman enjoys herself will eat this one up (I'm not really a fan of backdoor scenes, but I admit finding this one rather good).

Note that there was no facial in the movie, though, and I believe condoms were used in all scenes.

I don't know... while this movie surprisingly didn't really rip off The Matrix, there were enough things wrong with it. While the lighting was rather good, the music could have been better, the sex was often by-the-numbers, the plot and acting terrible, and we didn't even get to see Orleans' much-touted visual style (actually, I've watched several movies of his, none of which lived up to the 'Snow Leopard' hype) The movie really wasn't put together with a lot of care.. look at the credits for instance --> the blue lights in the background get a green tint every time the (yellow-greenish) text appears on screen. This is a sloppy job! Whaddaya expect, it's porno..

The DVD :

The video quality is good, the audio is a bit muffled and badly dubbed but serviceable. The problems are with the movie itself rather than the presentation..

Besides the well-known hot-shot feature (jump to the climax of every scene) and biogs, we get trailers and web access. OK work here, but since the same extras are on every disc, I'm not really enthusiastic about it.

Pass this one up, I would say, or rent it, if one of your favourite stars is in it (though you'll probably see hotter sceens in other movies).
