Gettin' Wet: Ladies First Review

Starring: Taylor Moore, Alexandra Silk, Ruby, Barrett Moore, Tye, Anita Cannibal, Leah

Pros: Alexandra Silk, a gonzo feel at times, women wanting sex no matter how uncomfortable the setting or the position, decent chick ID

Cons: poor menu navigation, poor sound, poor video, restricted by bad plot

Plot: Taylor has a bachelorette party on a boat while she writes a letter to her sister in which she contemplates such philosophical issues as 'Is lesbian sex cheating?". Girls mysteriously appear and disappear from the boat.

Must see moment: Leah deep-throating a double dong dildo (don't ya just love the thought of her practicing).

Gettin'Wet faces an identity crisis, which is a good thing considering that it really sucks for a plot film. It starts with acting and plot but by the second sex scene I started to feel that I was watching gonzo. The gonzo feel is interrupted on occasion by Taylor writing a letter to her sister and by shots of the women having fun with water sports (real water sports, this is not a fetish DVD).

Scene 1: Taylor/Anita
The plot (or lack thereof) is established. The sex is pretty good, but the sound is poor. You have to struggle to hear what is being said.

Scene 2: Alexandra/Barrett
Alexandra and Barrett distract Taylor from her boat driving duties by having sex right in front of her. Midway through this scene I started to enjoy this DVD a lot more. The reason? Well, Alexandra Silk for starters. But also, acting came second to fun. All of the sudden I thought I was watching gonzo. Alexandra and Barrett seemed to be having genuine fun, and the cameraman/director let that happen. At this point I became more forgiving of the audio/video because A/V usually isn't all that good in gonzo. This scene reminds me once again why I am a fan of Alexandra. She ads personality and sexual intensity. She never gives the impression that she is doing a job. Rather, you imagine her walking onto the set and asking if she can join in.

Scene 3:Alexandra/Taylor
Taylor gets fed up with being teased and makes Barrett drive. Taylor and Alexandra walk to the back of the boat to have fun(must be a big boat, cause it is daylight when they start walking and nighttime when they get to the back). They have intense sex on a steel spiral staircase. They appear to have no concern for physical comfort, just an insatiable desire to cum. There is a really good shot of Alexandra's eyes as she is being pleasured.

Scene 4: Leah/Ruby/Tye
No introductions, just gonzo fun. Leah is my favorite of the bunch. The sound is cluttered by the presence of an outboard motor and a jazzy track in the background.

Scene 5: Taylor/Leah/Ruby/Tye/Barrett
The girls engage in lesbian sex on a dock.

Shelf life: I may keep it for the scenes involving Alexandra Silk.

Bottom line: A missed opportunity. The DVD would probably have been better if they just took the girls on a trip and let them have fun together. Unfortunately they tried miserably to have a plot.
