Audio Quality: Average to poor. There were a few spots when the music was really overpowering, and quite a few spots where I had trouble understanding what was being said.

Video Quality: Average. There was a few spots with grainy picture.

Music: Normal clichéd porn music. It's a little overpowering at times.

Initial Expectations: I think Asia is one of the most talented and best looking actresses out there. I'm also liking what I've seen of Aja. Although I'm not expecting much of a DVD as a whole, I'm expecting a better than average movie with some really good sex.

Initial Reaction: Extreme disappointment. Asia and Aja are barely in the movie. As a whole, the DVD sucks.

Review: Looking at the cover of 'My 2nd Love' with Asia on both the front and the back and reading the caption about an angel with a deliciously devilish side' made me expect a good movie as I believe Asia is one of the most talented adult actresses out there. Needless to say, I was more than a little disappointed, maybe even peeved, to find out that she's only in one sex scene of the movie and only about a quarter of the movie total. This is one of those cases where the cover really misleads you since it has one or two popular actresses in it.

In reality, most of 'My 2nd Love' revolves around Shawna Edwards and Michael J. Cox. After having a storybook wedding, which we see in Michael's dream, along with the wedding night, Shawna dies and leaves Michael alone. The powers that be decide that Michael isn't getting on with his life fast enough and send's Shawna's ghost back to help him move on. Yes, we've all seen this movie before. Yes, we've seen it done a lot better before.

Shawna first decides he just needs a transition girl to sleep with and that Asia would be the perfect girl to do this. I can't argue with her line of thought. It's not much of a surprise that Asia turns out to be the best thing in the movie. She's got more enthusiasm than everybody else in the movie combined. Even with Asia's enthusiasm, the scene seems boring. Everything lasts way too long. In a ten minute scene, there's a blowjob and two positions. That's it.

Asia dumps Michael over the phone the next day, which sends him back into depression. While he spanks the monkey, Shawna fingers herself and rubs her pussy in his face. It's a different scene, and I can't say that it added anything to the movie.

Thankfully, Shawna decides to look around Michael's office to find somebody else for him. He finds Aja, the other highlight of the movie, and meets John Decker, the ghost of Aja's husband, who teaches her a thing or two about being a ghost. Neither of them think that their former spouses are right for each other, but they decide to let Aja and Michael decide. Thankfully they hit it off, and although we don't really get to see any non - sex interaction between them, we have another pretty good sex scene. Surprisingly, we even get to watch Michael go down on Aja. The only other muff - munchin' so far has been in the opening 69 scene where the camera work was really bad. Thankfully, the camera work is much better in this scene. Aja also appears to be enjoying herself a lot.

Finally, John and Shawna see that Aja and Michael have hit if off and their work is done a little earlier than expected. I'll let you guess how they fill their time, and it ain't playing Monopoly.

There isn't a lot to be said about the audio and video quality. The video quality is average, but is hurt by a lot of poor camera work. The opening scene between Shawna and Michael had a long sixty - nine sequence where you could barely see anything because of the camera angle. When Shawna is in the reverse cowgirl position, the camera is just right so we have her ugly 'Joseph' tattoo flipping on and off screen. It was almost like have drunk do subtitles on the movie. Maybe it was meant to be a subliminal message, but I didn't really feel the need to go to a bar, pick up a guy named Joseph, and bang him in the alley. Thankfully, the rest of the movie is much better, but there's still quite a few problems. On the audio side, I had a hard time understanding quite a bit of the dialogue and the music was overpowering in a few spots. The only really positive thing I can say about the audio and video is that they were synched very well.

Overall: If you're looking for a really tame couples film or if you're one of Shawna Edwards fans, 'My 2nd Love' is probably for you. Asia and Aja fans are probably going to be disappointed. The video is pretty good, but the audio is hard to hear at times. There are also absolutely no extras.
