Initial Expectations: Thomas Paine has rarely impressed me. Although this one has a great female cast I can’t get my expectations up too high.

Initial Reaction: Although it flounders a little in places, it’s one of the best I’ve seen from Thomas Paine.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a heavy plot, nastier sex, or a movie about business

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and nicely balanced, although there is a little bit of dubbing. The video shows a bit of the feature’s age. It has some grain, and looks almost as if the feature were shot on film. It’s nicely lit, and even varies the lighting at times to help with the mood. For the age of the feature, Corporate Assets 2 looks and sounds very good.

Music: The music is soft feeling and fairly romantic for the most part, but works in some playful porno music as well. It also rests nicely in the background, working itself quietly into the scene rather than forcing itself in.

Menus: The menus are very unimpressive. The main menu has a little animation, but the photo used for the still portion looks out of focus. The chapter menu is about as impressive, and lets you choose a scene based on a still from each scene.

The Feature: After a rough beginning, former prostitute Juli Ashton and haunted Vietnam vet Mark Davis head for Idaho for a fresh start. They’re newly married and Mark has a job there as a forest ranger. They still have some questions about themselves, each other, and their relationship, but that’s some of the fun of a marriage.

Michael J. Cox starts out getting his knob gobbled by Rebecca Lord in an outdoor pool. He moves on to tongue her twat as she props herself on the side of the pool and keeps his hat from betting wet. Michael moves on to fuck her from behind as well as in a couple variations before popping on her tits.

This is a very short scene, but works pretty well. I had scene this scene in compilations before, but it never worked as well there as here. There’s nice chemistry and a good feeling to the scene that made it very likeable watching it this time.

Juli Ashton and Mark Davis get busy next as they take a break from driving. Juli bends over and takes Mark into her mouth as he lays back in the driver’s seat. Mark opens the door to let Juli have a little air, and soon after she’s on her knees sucking him. Juli gobbles Mark’s knob with some nice energy until he finally pops on her tongue.

This is a hot oral scene! It goes on a little long, but Juli really seems to get into it! She looks like she swallows a little guy goo, which always helps out oral scenes for me, and she and Mark are into it enough that they kiss passionately after she takes her facial. It’s a well done oral scene, and the only complaints I can have about it is the length.

After settling into their house a little, Mark and Juli pick up where they left off. They kiss passionately before Mark gives each of Juli’s holes some deep tonguing. She gobbles his knob again before climbing up for a reverse cowgirl ride. They finish things up with some nice missionary and another great facial for Juli.

This is another very nice scene. Juli and Mark have excellent chemistry together, and there’s enough passion and enjoyment there that it’s easy to see them as loving newlyweds. There’s plenty of loving looks and a very nice pace. There’s nothing that really jumps out at me about the scene, but the overall feeling was really nice.

Rebecca Lords returns to take on Juli Ashton for a little dessert after they have lunch together in the next scene. After a little soft kissing, Juli goes to work on Rebecca with her tongue and fingers. Rebecca reciprocates in kind before they finish things up with a soft kiss.

This scene didn’t do much for me. It’s nice to look at, and the girls look like they’re enjoying themselves. That said, it also doesn’t seem to go anywhere and went on way too long. This is a good scene for the fast forward button.

Next up, Mark Davis gets it on with Heaven Lee when she brings him back to her place for a little lunch. Heaven strips down inside and then presents herself to Mark, who doesn’t resist at all as she runs her hands across his body and drops down to mouth his manhood. Mark tongues Heaven’s honey hole in return before carrying her into the bedroom and fucking her doggie style. Mark also gives it to Heaven missioanry style before decorating her tits.

This is a pretty good scene. Most of its strength lies in its very strong start. There’s plenty of chemistry, and the tease doesn’t hurt things at all. Yeah, Heaven’s your typical bleached blonde, but she gets into it nice. The worst thing about it is that it focuses a bit much on the close-ups at times.

Johnni Black and Chloe take on Mark Davis in the penultimate scene after watching him in a bar for a bit. The girls team up to suck Mark’s cock before Chloe climbs onto Johnni’s back so Mark can easily work his tongue between their gashes. Chloe takes the first ride cowgirl style before Mark does Johnni from behind. Once again, Chloe climbs on top so Mark can work his way between them, and finally he lets them share a decent dose of dick droppings between their tongues.

This is a slightly above average scene. I really like the take charge attitude the girls start the scene with, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more of Johnni here. I like Chloe, but she seems to hog the scene here. Johnni does a good job of helping when Chloe’s getting some action, but when it’s time for Johnni to get a little dick, Chloe always seems to muscle in so she can get some more. They look like they’re enjoying themselves, but it just made the scene seem a bit lopsided.

Finally, there’s a large group orgy. It’s a very surprising scene, especially for Adam & Eve, as it has a lot of S&M action such as hot wax, lashings, and fetishwear before a plethora of girls appears to satisfy Mark Davis. Steve Hatcher and Michael J. Cox show up shortly thereafter and help Mark take on the nice group of lovely ladies. Although it starts off as a fairly extreme scene, it quickly changes into a nicely done orgy. Asia Carrera and Steve Hatcher won an award for best couples scene for this scene, but fans of Asia might be a little disappointed as she doesn’t get a lot of screen time in the scene.

I’m really not sure what to think about this scene, even after watching it several times. There’s some decent action, but it just doesn’t seem to fit into the feature quite right. Heck, it barely seems to be able to fit with itself with the way it mixes fairly hardcore B&D with a couples style orgy. This is a different scene, and I’m really not quite sure what to think of it.

Corporate Affairs 2 is a pretty good couples feature. There’s some long non-sex sequences, but they do a nice job of setting up the storyline, and even bring the sex into play a bit sometimes. The sex varies quite a bit, ranging from a boring lesbo scene with Juli Ashton and Rebecca Lords, to a pair of smoking scenes between Juli Ashton and Mark Davis. There’s a little variety to the sex, partially thanks to a fetish fantasy, but it never gets into anything that hardcore that much (and never into anal). Corporate Assets 2 is a nice diversion for couples who wants something with a bit of substance.

Extras: Trailers are included for the Simon Wolf Trilogy of A Witch’s Tail, A Wolf’s Tail, and A Devil’s Tail, as well as Simon’s Beauty & The Bitch. There’s also a seven and a half minute interview with Rebecca Lord. She talks about getting into the industry, how she came up with her name, her hobbies, her plans for after the adult industry, and safe sex. She comes across as very grounded and very real, and makes it a very nice interview.

Overall: Currently, Adam & Eve DVDs can be found online for between $7 and $25, with this line of DVDs often being available for around $10. The low end is more than fair here. The movie is nicely done, and nicely balances a story with varied sex. The technical aspects are a bit weak, but there’s decent extras.

Note to Adam & Eve: I know this is one of your older DVDs, so I’ll just say that it’s nice to see how far you’ve come.
