Initial Expectations: I haven’t heard too much about this one, so I’m not expecting too much even though it is a Nick Orleans feature.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally pretty clear and well balanced. The video is also pretty clear, but there is a little bit of grain. As often happens in Nick Orleans’ features, there’s a fair amount of slow motion, but it’s normally nicely done. This means there’s also a fair amount of dubbing, but it’s normally done pretty well also.

Music: As with most of Nick Orleans’ features, Saint provides the music, which is almost always a very good thing. The musical style falls nicely between some of the standard porno music and Saint’s more new age style, and the balance ranges from being the only audio to being nicely balanced.

Menus: The menus are both pretty simple and unimpressive, which I’m sure is partly due to the this being one of Adam & Eve’s earlier DVDs. The main menu has a couple clips from the feature, and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a scene number.

The Feature: When an artistic movie turns into a porno, people start taking notice. Some of them are concerned about their “serious career”, while others look at an easy buck to be made. Regardless, it means a bunch of people are going to fuck, and that’s about all you need to know here. Any more thought than that will get you into trouble.

Ashton Moore starts things off with Ian Daniels in bed on a movie set. He plays with her pussy a little before she drops down to sensually suck his cock under the covers. Instead I felt like I should have tried to get a coffee IV to try and stay awake. I’m sure it’s meant to be a soft and tender scene, but all it came off for me was boring.

Finally, after everybody in the room gets naked, pretty much the whole cast gets busy in some way. Ashton Moore and Kelsey start off playing with themselves while Azlea Antisia and Brick Majors start working each other over. Azlea and Brick fuck while the camera works its way around the room, with Azlea finishing things off by jerking Brick’s cock so long I’d almost be willing to put money on her having calluses on her hand by the end of the scene. It’s very forgettable, and a fitting way to end the movie.

The Naked Truth is a kind of surprising dud. I’ve enjoyed a lot of Nick Orleans’ other movies, and the cast here has shown a lot of talent elsewhere. Unfortunately, Shay Sweet and Tony Martino are the only ones to show any excess of heat in any of the scenes. Ashton Moore also does a decent job in her scenes, but the rest of them are basically duds and something I’d only recommend to insomniacs. It’s really too bad, since there is a lot of talent here. The Naked Truth is a truth best kept secret.

Overall: Currently, The Naked Truth can be found online for between $8 and $18 with a lot of stores offering it for around $10. I wouldn’t recommend paying much above the bottom line here. Neither the plot or the sex are too captivating, and the extras and transfer are average at best.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s nice to see you making it so stores can sell some of your older releases at a low price.
