Initial Expectations: I’ve had mixed results from Plum’s European offerings. Although there has been a nice surprise or two, I’m not expecting too much here.

Initial Reaction: It’s much better than I expected with slightly above average sex and a well acted mysterious plot.

Audio /Video Quality: The English audio is dubbed, so of course it doesn’t synch too well with the video. It’s normally pretty clear and well balanced, although it frequently is degrading to the women. The video has a slight grain to it and a few short soft focus problems.

Music: The music varies quite a bit. A lot of it isn’t really normal porn music, but it’s still cheesy with kind of a half rock feel. It ranges between being way too loud and basically the only audio in the scene, to being very well balanced. During the plot sequences, the music is nicely eerie, adding quite a bit to the mood of the overall movie.

Menus: The menus are about as simple as you can get. The chapters are listed by number.

The Feature: Sailor Bruno Sx starts things out getting a blowjob from hooker Marie Christine in a bar’s back hallway. I was actually drawn into the plot enough to actually want to keep watching the movie for reasons other than who was going to get boffed next. The sex is a little above average, and as usual with European sex, has a large focus on anal. In an extremely nice touch, the entire cast is shown at the end of the feature along with their name so you know who everybody is. If this one interests you, at least give it a rent since it’s a very nice change from most of the porn out there.

Extras: There’s a trailer lasting just over three minutes for Cargo that might or might not make you still want to watch the movie. There’s also some internet information.

Overall: Currently, Cargo can be found online for between $19 and $23 with a couple stores offering it for under $20. Although this is a bit high due to having almost nothing for extras, the movie is a very nice change from the standard porn out there. The movie is well acted and the plot is mysterious enough that it actually has you thinking a little bit in the minute or two between the sex scenes.

If somebody is interested in one of the titles, they may very well be interested in some of the others. If you do put more than one trailer on a DVD, please rotate them or do something other than have all of the same trailers available all the time.
