Initial Expectations: Fairly high. It’s got a very good cast and Adam & Eve’s Premium line has been very good so far.

Initial Reaction: It’s lacking a little compared to some of the others in Adam & Eve’s Premium line but it’s still better than a lot of other stuff out there.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very well balanced and clear although there is a little bit of dubbing. The picture has a slight grain and some light pixelation to it in normal light but looks amazingly good in low light scenes.

Music: Saint did the music for Devoured which most everybody who’s read my reviews knows is a big plus to me. As usual with Saint, the music has a nice blend of jazz, Spanish, and other feels. It’s very sexy and really helps the scenes out.

Disc Problems: When playing the movie it returns to the main menu after the opening credits.

Review: In Devoured Mark Davis wants to buy Dale DaBone’s company. The only thing standing in his way is Silvia Saint, who took Dale’s company from the bottom of the barrel and turned it into a very prospective company. Mark tried to buy the company in the past but was denied his chance because of Silvia’s involvement. This time he isn’t going to take any chances with Silvia and has sleazy private eye Alec Metro trail Silvia to find out whatever he can to destroy her. In the process, Mark comes to fall in love with her. I guess I can’t blame him. Silvia started to rocket to the top of my list after the first scene I watched her in and her name on my list wasn’t the only thing rocketing up.

After a short introduction to Mark, Silvia, and the general plot behind the movie, Voodoo and Silvia meet Mark at an outdoor bar / restaurant to discuss the business deal over a few drinks. Silvia doesn’t stay long but Nikita Denise shows up to work on Voodoo and Mark’s briefs. Nikita has a very real body and a extremely nicely trimmed pussy. This scene starts the movie off very well. Unlike so many other group scenes between two guys and a lady this doesn’t include a double penetration. It does, however, have some really great chemistry between the three participants and ends up as an extremely hot scene.

Bunny Luv distracts Alec Metro from working in the second scene. I was a little leary of this scene after watching Bunny’s Bubble Gum Fantasies 1 but this scene shows why she has such a following. She looks extremely hot and very natural. The entire scene takes place outside and Bunny never gets completely undressed, leaving her skirt on the entire scene. The only problem I can find with this scene is very minor. The music is the only audio in the entire scene. I personally like to hear some of the sounds, but sometimes it doesn’t matter. If I didn’t enjoy Saint’s music as much as I do I probably would have been more disappointed. It’s a very hot scene and I’m now wanting to see more of Bunny.

Alec spies on and takes pictures of Dale and Silvia until they start to get busy. He’s such a nice sneaky rat. Not many guys would give a couple the privacy like Dale does. Heck, with somebody like Silvia they could have used me as the waterfall that they made love in front of. I’m sure I would have left a pool at least the same size as the one behind them. This scene is extremely erotic. Silvia eats a strawberry and rubs it across her body as Dale munches away down below. Surprisingly, Silvia only does vaginal sex which helps in the romantic feel of the scene that made this one of my favorite scenes in the movie.

Dale feels a little torn about selling the business and heads down to Julie Meadows’s Crab Shack. It’s a little bar she owns (shame on any of you who were thinking I meant anything else with this lovely lady). Since most shrinks appear to fuck you for payment, Julie demands the same payment. She’s a little more subtle than most and gives Dale the hint by masturbating for him on the pool table. I really like Julie and she gives her typical extremely vocal performance. The scene has some problems with momentum as the scene is broken apart by other scenes with the balls being knocked around. Julie, another girl that like Silvia I consider an anal queen, only performs vaginal sex in this scene. Dale almost gives Julie a facial at the end of the scene but instead falls a little short decorating her munchable melons.

Feeling a need to clear her head and clothes, Silvia heads out to Felicia’s ranch. Of course, these two ladies hook up. Unlike the previous scene, this scene is all about momentum. It continually builds throughout the scene starting tender with champagne and building to extremely hot. Silvia uses her riding crop a little to spank Felicia as well as other toy usage. This was one of the hottest scenes in the movie. Felicia and Silvia have great chemistry and I have to be careful not to drool on my keyboard just thinking about the two of them together.

Finally, Silvia and Mark hook up. Of course, you know that this is the highlight of the movie, as well it should be. I think Mark Davis is one of the finest male actors in the adult film industry and I’m pretty sure that there’s some small villages who worship Silvia as a goddess after a plane accidently dropped one of her movies outside their village. No, they don’t have anything to play it on but one look at her is all it takes. Mark and Silvia’s chemistry really helps this scene. The scene takes place outside Mark’s front door and Mark and Silvia stand through most of the scene. It isn’t much of a difference, but it’s enough to make the scene stand out a little bit. There’s a little reverse cowgirl at the end, but every scene needs a little reverse cowgirl. It’s a great ending to the scene and really enhances the romantic feel of much of the movie.

Devoured does a great job of making what could be a creepy stalking movie into a tale of sexual passion. It isn’t an original idea but it’s done very well and mixes fleshed out characters with people that are just there to fuck. It’s a good combination and helps Devoured balance between a fairly high plot adult film and the average porno where you know that anybody who sees anybody else is going to be getting busy.

Extras: The photo gallery contains 20 manual photo that range from a slight grain to very clear. Unlike most manual photo galleries, this one includes music. The bios cover Silvia Saint, Mark Davis, Dale DaBone, Bunny Luv, and Felicia showing a picture of the star and giving a little information about them. Trailers are included for Fire & Ice , Turquise Blue, Tales From the Pink, Serenade , Scent of Passion, Snow Leopard, The Ultimate Experience, A Slave To Fashion, Infinite Bliss , Touch, The Naked Truth, and The Ultimate Experience 2 . Of course, there’s also web access and phone sex information.

Overall: Currently, Devoured can be found online for between $16 and $23 with most stores offering it for under $20. If you’re a fan of pretty much anybody in the cast it’s a fair price. It has the standard extras but the overall picture and sound are better than the average feature.

Note to Adam & Eve: I would have liked a few more extras and a little better picture quality in Devoured . As is I think it lacked slightly for being a Premium Collection release even though the movie itself is very good.
