With nearly ten hours of action spread over three discs covering Adam & Eve from their early movie releases up to their modern age, this one's hard to turn down for the price you can pick it up. There's a great variety of action and starts, but the technical aspects hold the release back due to stretching older scenes out to anamorphic widescreen rather than leaving them their original aspect ratio. There's also a pair of Jenna Jameson bonus scenes to help out the extras. Although far from perfect, for the price you can pick this one up it's hard not to recommend it. [read the full review]

You have to admire Veronica Hart's courage in attempting a musical remake of "The Opening of Misty Beethoven" the greatest adult film of all time. This movie features Randy Spears in the Gillis role, Chloe in the Jacqueline Beaudant role, and Sunset Thomas as Misty Beethoven, the part played by Constance Money in the original. The movie is okay, but suffers greatly by comparison with the original. Obviously, there are no exterior shots in Rome, Paris, and New York, as there are in the original, but that is to be expeced. The real problem is that the movie is not as funny nor as erotic as the original. The plot doesn't really work, and completely falls apart at the end. Oh, sure, the sex is better lighted, and is filmed much more clearly and explicitly than in the original, but good lighting does not equal eroticism. And as to the music, the less said the better. This is a fairly forgettable release. It's not that it's bad in any way, it's just so unremarkable and generic that it's going to be easy to forget. Both Julie Meadows and Dru Berrymore do nice jobs, and there's plenty of softer anal throughout the movie for those who want ass loving without the circus acts. The technical aspects are well done, but often a little on the dark side, while the extras are as generic as one quickly came to expect from VCA long, long ago. This is a very unremarkable release. Fabulous! That's what I have to say about Unreal. From the extras menu to the plot, acting and creativity...a great job done by all. The options menu- Jam packed with all kinds of fun options like choosing the moans and groans soundtrack vs. music, a very nice verbal cast bios section and something called a "phat cut" for extended sex scenes. Acting- Chloe shows her stuff with the psycho sex maniac style of hers, sexy as ever Tina Tyler does a nice bit of acting then slips comfortably into her dominatrix role, newcummer Logan LeBrent pops her porn cherry (?) w/ Evan Stone and Julie Meadows with Keri Windsor share a hot little scene. Kudos all around, there was a consistent heat throughout the sex which is hard to find in porn and impressed me. Plot- Thank you Antonio for bringing to life something so artistic and unique. This is definitely not a raincoater movie, so based on that this would get a very, very low rating. Based on production values, this would get a great rating.
