Audio /Video Quality: As one expects with a compilation, the technical aspects do vary a bit. For the most part, the audio is very well done and well balanced. The video varies much more, some of which is due to some scenes being shot on film. Although most of the scenes are either very clear or have only a slight bit of grain, a few scenes are highly pixelized or suffer from excessive graininess.

Music: As usual with compilations, the music varies a bit, but normally fits the scenes very well. There’s a lot of music from Saint, who has made some of my favorite adult movie scores and almost always brings things up a notch. It’s normally well balanced with the rest of the audio, but there are a few places where it’s the only audio or almost completely drowns out the rest of the audio.

False Advertising: Dante is listed in the cast but never appears in the feature. Jessica Drake is also listed, but only has a walk-on non-sex role.

Menus: The main menu has some very nice animation that’s well done and gives the compilation a nicer feeling to start out with. The chapter menu is pretty standard, offering a small clip from the scene and a chapter number to help you choose.

The Feature: Adam & Eve has been expanding their compilation lines by leaps and bounds recently. Wall-to-Wall Skin is the latest of those compilations, which keeps things simple. It goes from scene to scene without bothering you with any of the things you might like to know, such as who the heck the people in the scene are or what movie the scene comes from. Although I’m familiar with many of the stars and the original movies, some of these are even new to me so I’m unable to give a complete reference if you feel like looking up the original movie.

Mark Davis starts things off with Lita Chase, a blonde who seems like she could be very attractive but has her hair done in braids, some large tattoos, and large implants, in a scene from Sex Spell. He’s conveniently in the buff when he finds her, which makes it all the easier for her to start sucking his cock. They tease each other a bit outside by a jeep before Asia runs inside their ten with James following close behind. The playfulness makes this a nice scene right from the start. There’s great chemistry between James and Asia, and they enhance it even further by taking things slowly and giving each other loving gazes. It gradually picks up energy as James plants his face between Asia’s thighs and she reciprocates with her standard amazing blowjob. It’s also a scene that most people wouldn’t expect to come from Adam & Eve, who have a great reputation for couples films, but not for anything as extreme as the ending here.

Wall-to-Wall Skin is a pretty good compilation. There’s a nice variety of sex here, as well as talent, which should mean that everybody will find something to their liking. As usual with compilations, there’s a fair range in technical qualities here as well, but very few of the scenes are of lower quality. The biggest problem with the entire compilation is that none of the scenes are labeled with the original feature or the talent in case you want to see more than what you have here. It’s probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to compilations, as it’s something the people making the compilation should know, and it allows the viewer to see more of what they liked. A compilation in essence is just a huge commercial for other features, and if the viewer doesn’t know what that feature is, they have no way to go out and buy more of the company’s product. It’s the only thing holding Wall-to-Wall Sex back from being a really great compilation, and something important enough that I gave the overall DVD a half point penalty for not having. Despite that, if you’re looking for a decent compilation that has a good mix of sex but focuses mostly on couples sex, Wall-to-Wall Skin is a great place to look.

Extras: The photo gallery is a nice collection of about thirty snapshots from the scenes in the feature. Rather than including any actual bios to anything else to let you recognize the stars, there’s a simple cast listing, which appears much the same as is on the back cover. As usual, there’s also weblink information. This would seem pretty poor for extras, but Adam & Eve made up for it by including three extra bonus scenes, which oddly don’t have time stamps.

The first bonus scene is an orgy from Nicholas Steele’s All the Rave starring Evan Stone, Joey Ray, Amber Michaels, Kelle Marie, Kelsey, and another girl who I’m not quite sure of. It starts out with some nice oral sex, with three of the girls going down and the guys and one of the girls receiving, and then switches around so the girls can get some attention. There isn’t any swapping when it comes to the fucking, but everybody does make their way through a few positions before Kelsey and another of the girls take a facial finish. This scene didn’t really do anything for me. The camera seemed all over the place, which I admit is something that sometimes needs to be done with large group scenes, but it flashed around so much that I had trouble seeing who was who and who was fucking who. It wasn’t helped by the flashing lights, which started to give me a headache over the twenty minutes the scene runs.

The second bonus scene comes from Sex Across America 6: Hawaii and stars T. J. Hart and Christopher Streams. They warm each other up nicely on the beach by a wall, with T. J. really looking great. There’s a great variety of sex here, but as one would expect, the technical aspects do vary quite a bit. There’s not too much for extras, but there are three nicely done bonus scenes.
