Audio /Video Quality: The audio is up to Wicked’s normal high quality. Everything is very clear and well balanced. The video lacks a little. Some of the colors are off a little and there are a few areas with some pretty good pixelation.

Music: The audio is a little harder rock than most but very well balanced and very fitting for many of the scenes.

Menus: The menus have a nice bit of animation and look great, which is pretty standard for Wicked. They’re easily navigated and the menus split nicely to keep similar choices together, such as having a separate audio bio menu for the guys and the women. The only complaint I have about them is the chapters are listed by number rather than the performer in them.

The Feature: Chances follows Karen, played by Stephanie Swift, who’s at kind of a crossroads in her life. She quit stripping at her boyfriend’s request and is now kind of lost as a bartender since she isn’t making nearly the money she used to. Her boyfriend, Evan Stone, doesn’t help things much since he’s basically a deadbeat in a band. She isn’t sure where to go or what to do, but she knows that she isn’t happy now.

Heather Lyn starts things off by herself on a bar. She’s an attractive redhead who has on a white bra, panties, garter belt, and shoes that comes off while she works on herself with a silver vibe. After a little interlude, she gets busy in a back booth with Mickey G. Mickey sucks on her fingers a little before she drops down to aggressively take all of Mickey’s cock in her mouth and down her throat. Heather does a great job of using her eyes to the full effect for this scene which really makes it into a great scene. Not surprisingly with a blowjob like this, it doesn’t take Mickey long to blow his load all over her face and into her mouth. It’s a fairly short scene, but has a lot of heat.

The next scene is more like several short sequences strung together in a strip bar. After a few strip sequences with beauties like Stephanie Swift and Devinn Lane, Frank Fortuna gets a little more personal attention from Amber Michaels in the back corner of a strip club. It’s a much shorter blowjob sequence than with Mickey and Heather, but the combination of the sequences work very well together.

The entire scene is shot in black and white and has the feel of a very old porn scene.

As usual for Red Ezra’s style, there’s lots of bright colors in the costumes that go a little over the top with Devinn in a orange and snakeskin bikini and Shay in a bright yellow bikini. After working each other over naturally, they bring out the vibes and each girl gets worked over with a vibe the same color as their swimsuits. It’s another hot scene but ends a little suddenly, as girl - girl scenes often do.

Sydnee Steele and Herschel Savage gets busy in the back kitchen. Sydnee drops to her knees to suck off Herschel with also working his cock over with her hands. For his first movie, Red Ezra does a great job with Chances. The story is well written and Stephanie’s acting brings it up another notch. The sex might be a little too couples oriented for some people, but the chemistry in almost all the scenes is fabulous and makes for quite a bit of heat. Red Ezra does much better with his first movie Chances than many other directors do after dozens of movies.

Extras: Wicked has all their usual extras here as well as a few others. Audio bios are included for Stephanie Swift, Devinn Lane, Shay Sweet, Sydnee Steele, Amber Michaels, Coral Sands, Julie Meadows, Heather Lyn, Mickey G., Evan Stone, Ian Daniels, Herschel Savage, Frank Fortuna, Jason McCain, and director Red Ezra. I think about the only person they left out was the guy who went for sandwiches, which is a great thing. Trailers are included for Vengeance , Spellbound , Knockout , which every Stephanie Swift fan should make sure to see, and Flashpoint . As with most of Wicked’s releases, two photo galleries are included. Both look great and have framed photos which last about five seconds apiece. The movie gallery lasts almost two and three quarter minutes while the behind the scenes gallery lasts almost two minutes. Of course, the usual promotional materials, Wicked Web, Wicked Casino, company profile, Free Speech Coalition commercial and listing of Wicked’s AVN and DVD award winners and nominees is also included.

Interviews are also included with Heather Lyn and Devinn Lane. Heather’s interview lasts just over two and a quarter minutes. Heather is resting at the time and it looks like the interview got snuck in right before her afternoon nap. She talks about why she’s pickier with her girls to perform with than her guys and what she does in the movie. Devinn’s interview lasts a little over a minute and a half. It looks like she was caught before she heads inside for the scene. She talks about her scene and as usual, looks amazing! Both interviews are pretty short and don’t add too much. They do, however, give the viewer a little look at the performers as people and let them get a little taste, no pun or teasing intended, of the stars.

There’s also two, yes two, audio commentaries. I actually had very high expectations for both of the commentaries after how well Red Ezra handled a solo commentary for Flash! , his second feature. The first has Red Ezra with Stephanie Swift. They talk about the movie as well as some of the topics around the movie. Devinn Lane also checks in with her puppy for part of it, which just happens to be during Devinn’s scene. The second commentary once again has Red Ezra, but this time he’s joined by fellow director Nic Andrews and editor Slammy. They talk quite a bit about the art direction and a lot of the things that most people wouldn’t even notice. Although it’s fairly serious at times, the guys joke around enough that it never gets too serious. Both commentaries are extremely full and enjoyable.

Finally, there’s All Access - The Making of Chances , a thirteen and a half minute behind the scenes look at Chances . Everybody in the feature is credited as they appear, and most of them are interviewed during the featurette. Of course, there’s also plenty of behind the scenes antics, such as Red’s birthday and Evan Stone talking about how he prepared for his part. As usual, Evan is a riot and makes the most of every second he’s on screen. For it’s length, it’s a great behind the scenes featurette.

Overall: Currently, Chances can be found online for between $25 and $30 with very few stores offering it at this time. This is one of the best couples features Wicked has come out with in a long time. There’s hot sex as well as a well acted story. Although the transfer is better than most studios, it isn’t quite up to Wicked’s normal standards. The extras are excellent, especially the commentaries.

Note to Wicked: Nice job here. During the commentaries there was a bit of cut footage mentioned that would have been great to include here.
