Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are more than dated. The audio is flat and often hard to hear or understand with the setups. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks really rough. The lighting is very imbalanced, there's a lot of pixelation, and a fair amount of camera motion. This release really makes one appreciate the technical aspects of modern porn.

There are releases that stand up to the test of time, and those that don't. Gangland 8 definitely falls into the latter category. The sex itself isn't bad, as Envy, Kelsey, and Julie all take black cock in all three of their holes with ease, as well as taking a nice facial at the end. The problems, more than anything, are behind the camera. The lighting imbalances are beyond noticeable, at at times flip between looking nicely balanced and having somebody shining a spotlight in the girl's face or on her body. The camera angles are overly focused on the penetration at times, going completely gyno-cam for the DPs and doing so to the point that whoever's behind the camera doesn't realize that if they'd move a little to the side they'd have just as good of a shot of the penetration while also getting the girl's face and reactions in the shot. The sound is also weak at the start, which sometimes isn't a horrible thing, but when you're trying to have a little setup story it definitely starts the scene on a low note. Envy, Kelsey, and Julie were all favorites of mine when I started reviewing fifteen plus years ago, so finding them all together in this one gave me a lot of hope. Julie easily turns out the best scene, showing off some nice acting chops as well as doing a great job with the sex and double penetrations, and Envy and Kelsey also did a nice job to remind me why I enjoyed them years ago. Unfortunatley, with Kelsey taking on four guys while Envy and Julie take on three there's never enough people involved for me to consider any of the three scenes here a gangbang. Gangland 8 leaves plenty to be desired due to the camera work and editing, but the girls do a solid enough job that this one's worth a cheap rental if you were a fan of them as well and need a trip down porn memory lane.
