Initial Expectations: This is one of Wicked’s earliest DVDs, so I’m not expecting it to be as well done as their current DVDs. I’m also not expecting too much out of this one as a movie, which might be due to my not caring for Teri Weigel’s Inferno.

Initial Reaction: Back when it was made, it was probably quite good. Compared to many of today’s features, however, it’s a pretty average feature.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants porn that pushes the limit in any area

Audio /Video Quality: The Barlow Affair is over ten years old, and it shows in some ways. The audio is very good, and nicely balanced. The video, however, shows a bit of grain and quite a few shadows. There’s also a few relics here and there. Although this wouldn’t be too good now, for the age of the feature, it actually looks like it was given quite a bit of attention.

Music: The music is very soft, romantic jazz that you’ve probably heard before in an elevator. It’s balanced pretty well with the rest of the audio and sometimes helps to give the scenes a romantic feel.

Menus: The main menu is nicely animated and gives the DVD a classy feel from the start. The chapter menu uses Wicked’s standard method of giving you a title for the scene and a small clip.

The Feature: Fresh out of college, Teri Weigel lands herself a dream job working for the Barlow Corporation. As she watches the boss’ house, she finds herself being attracted to her supervisor’s (Porsche Lynn) boyfriend (Buck Adams). She finds herself dreaming about him, and questions herself and her actions to the point that she’s not quite sure what to do, or to who.

Kelly Angel and Vinnie DeMarco start things out on the patio outside the house where Teri Weigel is working. Kelly starts out sucking Vinnie’s cock and rubbing it over her chocolate colored nipples before straddling his face so he can tongue her clit. She grinds her pussy on his cock in both regular and reverse cowgirl before letting Vinnie poke her from behind. He finally pulls out just in time to give her pussy a creamy coating. It’s an okay scene at best. There’s some good chemistry, but the camera is so focused on close-ups that you rarely get to see all of Angel and Vinnie fucking.

Mark Wallice and Selena Steele get dirty while cleaning up in the shower as Teri Weigel watches from the bathtub. They spray each other down before Selena drops down to suck the dick of death. They move into an aggressive sixty nine before continuing through some good missionary and cowgirl action before Selena lets Marc take her from behind. Salena takes a couple quick breaks to suck Marc’s cock, and finishes things up sucking him until he blows on her face. It’s a hot scene that has some great chemistry and even pushes very hot despite the camera style.

Buck Adams enjoys Porsche Lynn in the next scene, starting sitting on the ground and pleasing her orally while she stands in front of him. Buck trades places with cute blonde Missy Warner back and forth, as if the scene takes place in a dream, before the two of them appear to work on Porsche. Not surprisingly, Porsche gets the first poke, which she takes missionary style so she can lick Missy’s pussy. Surprisingly, it’s the only fucking in the scene as Buck pulls out and pops in Porsche’s gloved hands. It’s a pretty average scene that has a decent artistic feel. I’m sure quite a few people will like it, but there’s something that just didn’t work for me.

Teri Weigel finally gets some human interaction while trying to seal a deal with Randy “Leatherface” West. She shows him her offerings to see how they compare with what he planned on, and then lets him tongue and finger her twat as she moans away at high frequencies. He finally quiets her down by giving her something to suck on, but gets her moaning again by playing with her pussy as she sucks him. Randy fucks her missionary style on the glass table, and I’m not quite sure how it didn’t shatter. He gradually rolls her onto her stomach, and pops on her pussy. It’s a fairly hot scene, but I couldn’t help but laugh at Teri’s orations.

Finally, Teri hooks up with Buck Adams. He kisses her while playing with her pussy as Porsche watches and then lets her suck his cock. He fucks her from behind for a minute or two and then pops on her crack. It’s a very disappointing ending. There’s a bit of chemistry, but so much led up to this scene that went unfulfilled. I don’t think the scene lasted much over five minutes, and made for a pretty lame ending.

The Barlow Affairs is a pretty average feature, but didn’t have to be. The plot is pretty average, and doesn’t even really merit trying to follow. The sex has some great chemistry, and Selena Steele and Marc Wallice’s scene easily comes out on top of the feature. Unfortunately, the camera style didn’t do anything for me. Rather than blending a wide range of shots, it instead tried to focus on closeups and shots that showed about a quarter of one person’s body. There were barely any shots that showed all of both people having sex in any of the scenes, and if so, you couldn’t see any penetration. If it weren’t for the chemistry in many of the scenes, and Selena Steele, this one would have tanked big time.

Overall: Most Wicked DVDs can normally be found for between about $22 and $30 with many stores offering them for about $25. The Barlow Affair can normally be found a couple bucks cheaper, which is a very good scene. There’s some very good chemistry in the scenes, but the camera style didn’t do much for me. There isn’t much for extras, but Wicked appears to have given the transfer quite a bit of attention.
