Review :

I'm sorry I have to give a bad review to a Wicked DVD again but this movie was lacklustre in every aspect :

The audio is so bad that I mostly wasn't able to hear a single word that was being spoken, the video looks cheap and was on par with the picture on my camcorder, the acting was terrible, extras were barely registered and the sex scenes were mostly boring. Phew.. need I go on ? OK, I picked this one up for Chasey Lain's performance (again, see my raving 'Covergirl' review :) ) knowing that it would probably suck though. Chasey herself is quite the fox in this movie (right, as always) and she seems surprisingly into her scenes this time. Her terrible bolt-ons begin to grate, however.. in the last scene, I thought they would explode in her face when she was giving Colt Steele a tit- fucking.

The movie has a good premise : Chasey, unhappy with her fiance who doesn't seem to have time for her, nods off in her bed (after some vibrator action), and seems to find herself in the Fifties (even though we aren't even sure if it was a dream or real) where women didn't have equal rights yet, everything was a little more quiet and slow etc.

There she meets rommate Tiffany Mynx and her friend, as well as Mynx' boyfriend TT Boy.. I didn't know most of the cast, and since there were no real credits at the end of the movie, I had to search the internet for their names so I might be wrong on some of those guys'n'gals.

Of course, Chasey, Tiffany and Lindsay May get it on immediately in an all-girl threesome (the third girl is a brunette, not outstanding-looking but OK) that starts off well, and is one of the better scenes in the movie.. yet, there are too many gyno-shots here for my taste. Mynx is pretty hot though. (for a really great lez scene in 50s garb watch 'Cashmere' instead)

The other scenes involve another threesome, this time between mechanics TT Boy, Stephen St. Croix and Jordan Lee (yes, TT is cheating on his girlfriend.. I think I have seen that one before in porn..).. this scene is pretty nasty, with a DP and double facial, but the girl was not that great, I HATE TT Boy, and to see St. Croix's face I usually go to the zoo :) (no hard feelings, liked him in 'Bad Wives')

We get another scene with St. Croix (hurray..) and the xxtremely shitty-looking Amanda Addams, so even though I'm a hardened guy I HAD to FF this scene!

TT Boy and Mynx get it on, too (nice scene but too mechanical) before the last (and maybe best) scene with Chasey and Colt Steele (Chasey being back in the present now). Now, Colt is too much of a hunky, stereotyped porn guy for my taste but Chasey shows us how to really suck a cock here. Nice! We even come close to a facial (and she is the only woman here NOT to take one in a b/G scene) after she tit-fucks Colt.

There was some halfway funny dialogue here, with references to 50s culture, but this movie was so CHEAP! Terrible.. and I don't think they had Kellogg's boxes like that standing around in a diner in the 50s.. neither was Chasey's house very 50s-like. This was obviously one of the one-day wonders they used to make from, say 1986 to 1994.. and thus the movie is completely forgettable.. some middling sex scenes to watch once at the very most, and that's it..

The DVD :

As I said, audio and video are very bad.. not necessarily the transfer but the source material, even I could shoot this movie.. the crew was probably mostly comprised of the director's brother and sister.

There are no real extras here, except photo gallery, chapter search etc., though you get 3 trailers (for better movies..) and some bio information..

A consolation : I did like 'Dream Quest' though!
