Sex Island (Adam & Eve) Review

I will not go into much detail on the individiual scenes. The reviews byreviewer and AstroKnight give very good scene-by-scene breakdown of the flic.

Based on some of the reviews, I had high expectations. But the Sex Island was a big disappointment for me. The girls are good looking, the picture is crisp and the settings stylish. However it just did not work for me.

The narration by Tera Patrick was lame, the music cheesy and annoying (Micheal Bolton on a budget if that is possible), and they used of slow motion at some key points. This is the first Tera Patrick video I have watched and what I cannot understand is why the guy in each of her scenes ends up jerking himself off. What is it with these guys and with their directors? In Tera's 3-some, her "masseuse" has these incredible long nails that would be downright dangerouse in any massage let alone a "massage" that gets near one's privates. The same scene ends with Evan jerking off and demanding that Tera and Judy "SUCK IT" - oh yeah, that's couples friendly to say nothing of wrong for character. And in her beach scene, I could not get passed the sand that was soon everywhere and imagining it was probably getting where we could not see (Ouch!). And finally, to me, most of the girls just seem to be going through the motions and I did not get the sense they were anywhere near getting off (or at least faking it better).

The exceptions were the shower les scene between the Jessica and Shelly and Vanda's scene. The shower scene had some heat, at least until the strap-on came out (or went in as the case may be). At least there was some wet pussy in the scene. And Vanda seemed to be getting into her scene a bit and was able to bring her partner off (and without shying away). The behind the scenes footage is worth a scan and there are a couple of worthwhile (more real) scenes even if it is really not "behind the scenes" of Sex Island.

Probably my complaints are small issues and might not be problems for others. Maybe it was the high expectations. It just did not work and would not be a flic I would introduce to the girlfriend despite its couple-friendly orientation. It is one of those flics that seems to fall that space between straight wanking material and something for couples and probably will not work in either case.
