With nearly ten hours of action spread over three discs covering Adam & Eve from their early movie releases up to their modern age, this one's hard to turn down for the price you can pick it up. There's a great variety of action and starts, but the technical aspects hold the release back due to stretching older scenes out to anamorphic widescreen rather than leaving them their original aspect ratio. There's also a pair of Jenna Jameson bonus scenes to help out the extras. Although far from perfect, for the price you can pick this one up it's hard not to recommend it. [read the full review]

Whats in my DVD player (mainstream): The Woodsman Kevin Bacon plays a convicted child molester recently released from prison and its a haunting portrayal of his struggles to become normal, especially in his daily interactions at work, with his girlfriend, brother in-law and parole officer. A definite recommend as long as you can stomach the subject matter. Director: Christoph Clark Running time: 2:38 My review: I liked Euro Domination 2 enough to blind purchase ED #3 and in this volume we have the return of Silvia Saint in a girl/girl scene. If Im not mistaken, her recent return in front of the camera is limited to lesbian scenes but at least her ass is not off-limits. Ill take what I can get. The fetish wear and S&M tones is okay in low moderation for my tastes but in the hands of Christoph and judging from ED #2, its a welcome change of pace from the average, run of the mill porn that Ive seen lately. To be clear, this is NOT a compilation with an emphasis on babes wearing sexy lingerie prior to or during the sex action but rather it is a standard compilation of mish, mash scenes with a catchy, marketable title. The compilation contains the standard Private fare hot looking females engaging in group sex, anal, DPs and hot sex. The Premise: It's the simplest of all forms of porn. You have a beautiful woman, there's a minimal amount of setup, and then out comes the cock and two pretty lips get wrapped around it. I do have one major issue with the movies title. It says Down Your Throat and you have simulated cum dripping off those words on the boxcover, however the scenes themselves end basically with facials with any jizz going in the mouth being pushed out. Based on some of the reviews, I had high expectations. But the Sex Island was a big disappointment for me. The girls are good looking, the picture is crisp and the settings stylish. However it just did not work for me. The narration by Tera Patrick was lame, the music cheesy and annoying (Micheal Bolton on a budget if that is possible), and they used of slow motion at some key points. This is the first Tera Patrick video I have watched and what I cannot understand is why the guy in each of her scenes ends up jerking himself off. What is it with these guys and with their directors? One of them is this little trick that some directors use to drag a scene on through the use of slow motion. They think that this makes the movie look a little more "artistic" rather than just having two people getting it on. I, however, think it kills an otherwise steamy scene. Unfortunately for me, *Im* not the one who calls the shots at Adam and Eve, otherwise the use of slow motion in their signature productions would be kept to an absolute bare minimum. Heres the skinny: The bad guys have some "Y2K" (not tortilla) chips, and the CIA wants them, so they send in their "best agent" to go to the Caribbean island of St. Maarten to go catch the bad guys and bring home the chips. Okay, so the plot line is about par with some grade-C cable movie, but at least it explains why theyre there and not in some LA studio.
