Initial Expectations: There’s a few nice people in the cast, but for some reason I’m not expecting too much here.

Initial Reaction: It beats the heck out of watching Barbara Streisand movies.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for very tame sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally pretty good and is fairly well balanced. There’s a bit of noise here and there, and unfortunately it’s just as bad in indoor scenes as outdoor scenes. The video is also pretty clear, and surprisingly doesn’t have much grain. There’s quite a few shadows, and they do get in the way during many of the scenes.

Music: The music reminded me of Velveeta. You know, it’s cheesy but just isn’t like the real thing. It’s just a little on the loud side, but not so much that it doesn’t let the real audio through.

Menus: The main menu is very plain and doesn’t even have any animation, which was pretty standard for Adam & Eve’s early DVDs. The chapter menu is pretty standard, letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a scene number.

False Advertising: Alexandra Silk is listed on the cover, but I never saw her in the feature.

The Feature: Rebecca Lords is ready to leave Paris to go to LA with John Decker, but then she finds him with her best friend. Even though this is a porno, she leaves him, but John loves her and goes after her. No, it’s not much of a plot, but that’s pretty normal with Thomas Paine.

Rebecca Lord starts things out with John Decker in the almost unheard of porn location of a hotel bed. She briefly sits on his face before sliding down to work on his cock and showing that with some things a mouth does, you don’t have to worry about a language barrier. Rebecca takes her time sucking John’s sword, and gives him some nice eye contact as well before moving up to slide her snatch down on his cock in the mandatory reverse cowgirl. She moves on to let John take her from behind, and quickly spins around to accept a pop shot that I must have blinked to miss. In a twist that could only work in porn or daytime soap operas, John and Roxanne head back to the bed so John can get a little more action. Roxanne starts out sucking John’s cock and licking his balls while he strokes himself before climbing up to fuck him. Roxanne also lets John fuck her doggie style, and even lets him stretch her sphincter out before dropping a nice load on her face. It’s a warm scene that seemed a little on the boring side. It’s very slow and has the feeling that Mr. Pain thinks “couples friendly” means boring. It was actually a relief to see Rebecca walking into the lobby downstairs since it meant the scene would be ending soon.

On arriving in LA, Rebecca is met by Nicole London, who’s a masseuse. Since it’s a porno, she’s one of the masseuses who also give that special, extra treatment and uses a bed rather than an actual massage table. Nicole lets her hands work their magic on Rebecca, and then demonstrates her magic tongue as well. Rebecca helps Nicole out of her Super Sunday tee shirt and starts to warm her up before letting Nicole drop down and kiss her other lips. John Decker and Michael Hurt take on Nikki Lee, a kind of trashy looking bleached blonde, and Heaven Leigh, a nice looking light strawberry blonde, in a boat next. Nikki’s quite vocal, and tells Michael just what she wants, while Heaven just lays back and quietly enjoys John’s tongue teasing her twat. Michael doesn’t last long, and blows his load on Nikki’s chest early into the scene, just as Heaven is starting to suck John’s cock. Nikki stays behind to help Heaven satisfy John, and they team up to work on John’s cock orally. Surprisingly, Michael returns for the fucking, but thankfully the camera stays focused on John and Heaven, who work through a couple standard positions and finish things with a facial. For some reason Nikki and Michael are pretty much ignored during the fucking, and only appear in the background. I’m really not sure if Michael’s pop earlier in the scene was from that part of the scene or if the editing was that bad. Regardless, it’s the only pop that Nikki takes. It’s an okay scene, and Heaven was about the only thing worse paying attention to. She appears to be having fun and gets into things pretty well. The others were just kind of there as window dressing.

Rebecca Lords finishes things up with Tony Tedeschi at his apartment. Tony drops down and pulls Rebecca’s panties aside to eat her koochie, and takes his time working her over. Once again Rebecca starts out with the mandatory reverse cowgirl, but she also turns around for a little cowgirl. It’s a pretty good scene that has some nice chemistry, but doesn’t strike me as overly special in any way. They both put some nice energy into the scene, but it’s still pretty fuck-by-numbers.

Rebecca in Paris seems like a great definition of average porn. There’s some decent sex, but unfortunately it never puts enough into it to get much past decent. Rebecca looks good and has fun in her three scenes, but nothing really grasped me during any of the scenes. Rebecca in Paris beats the heck out of watching golf on TV, but there’s a lot better stuff from both Rebecca and Adam & Eve out there.

Overall: Currently, Rebecca in Paris can be found online for between $8 and $22 with several stores offering it near the low end. If you have to pick this up, eight bucks is a pretty decent price. There’s nothing too special about this DVD in any way, so you might even want to rent it first unless you’re a big fan of Rebecca Lord.

Note to Adam & Eve: I realize this was one of your early DVDs, so it’s nice to see how far you’ve come.
