This film is excellent from start to finish. I loved this film for so many reasons. First off, the plot is great, and the acting is outstanding. Devinn Lane is excellent in this film, playing Angela Parks, a woman who has worked in a prestigious (but old-fashioned)law firm for 8 years. Her assistant (Nicole Sheridan) gets promoted, leaving Dev to find a replacement. In walks the very hot Robin (jessica drake), and Devinn hires her. However, Robin won't take the job because of the "Morality Clause" the company has, which deems same-sex relationships as "deviant." jd then comes out to Devinn, not realizing that she is a lesbian as well. This film is stylish and well-made, and has a powerful message. Also, Stormy is great as Devinn's supportive friend. But, don't be fooled--there is some amazingly hot sex in this one! My favorite scene was the first one: hottie Nakita Kash (the first time I'd ever heard of or seen her, and DAMN!) and Devinn go at it in a lesbian club. [read the full review]

(as you've already read, this film is a takeoff on "cruel intentions," where the steps are rich, beautiful and bored. alec is lusting after his stepsister serentity, and they make a bet where serenity will give him her goodies if he can bed kiki d'aire). each are self-absorbed, beautiful (except for alec's flaming red fake tan), and put down some seriously good acting. the set-up alone should have made the film hot. a couple of the sex scenes were fun, particularly the two g-g-b scenes, which i'm not even typically a fan of. the bad news... kiki d'aire as the prize? ohmygod, to watch her was painful. she was entirely miscast as a supposed stuck-up, yet virginal lawyer. she can't read a line to save her life and, hey, the quasi-bo derek cornrow thing ain't working. every time she was on the screen i ff'd. This Michael Raven-helmed film is a porn version of "Point Break" which starred Patrick Swayze as the leader of a gang of outlaw surfers, and Keanu Reeves, as the FBI agent assigned to bring him to justice. Although the premise is promising, the execution is execrable. Nobody in this thing can surf, and nobody can act, either. The only decent surf footage is on the menu. They didn't even go out to places in Orange County or Malibu, where people actually surf, and get some shots of people actually surfing. Instead, they shot the surf scenes in the bay, where the two foot waves break on the sand. Incredibly lame!! This is why people hate porn with plot. A good surfing porno is still waiting to be made, because this wasn't it. The sex scenes are just so-so, with the exception of one three-way with April, Randy Spears, and Pat Myne, which is pretty hot. There ain't nobody in the porn version as sexy as Lori Petty was in the mainstream original. The technical aspects are terrific, with excellent cinematography. [read the full review]

Wicked Weapon held a lot of potential for being a great film. The cast and directorial talent is there. And both of the companies that made the film, Wicked Pictures and Video Marc Dorcel, have both put out some excellent works. Unfortunately, the film never quite lives up to it's ultimate potential and ends up falling short. This isn't to say that Wicked Weapon is a bad film, it's just not the film it could have been. Fans of Laure Sainclair and Jenna Jameson will definitely want to pick this title up as Wicked has done an excellent job with the presentation on the disc. Viewers that don't like a plot in their porn will probably want to pass on the title. Hollywood actress Kelly ODell moves from L.A. to a cabin in Montana for some peace of mind, but discovers that in Montana, if youre a lesbian, finding a piece of tail is a more difficult proposition. Wide Open Spaces (1995), directed by Wesley Emerson, is first-rate first-generation porn. I say first-generation because it looks like the kind of movie youd make if Hollywood were your inspiration rather than other porn films. The story isnt very good, but its serviceable and pleasant and it keeps the movie on track. It is, in other words, an excellent first attempt. I say first-rate because the sex is performed by a cast of cuties who know exactly what theyre doing and how to get their enthusiasm over on screen. Its rare for every scene in a porn movieany porn movieto be compilation-worthy. Im referring to an ideal compilation, one where the words best of actually mean something. Yet thats the case here. Hollywood actress Kelly ODell moves from L.A. to a cabin in Montana for some peace of mind, but discovers that in Montana, if youre a lesbian, finding a piece of tail is a more difficult proposition. Wide Open Spaces (1995), directed by Wesley Emerson, is first-rate first-generation porn. I say first-generation because it looks like the kind of movie youd make if Hollywood were your inspiration rather than other porn films. I Dream of Jenna Directed by Justin Sterling & Jenna Jameson Overall Impression I went into this one with low expectations since I'm generally not a huge fan of couples porn, plus although there was a lot to like about "Briana Loves Jenna" I felt the directing left a lot to be desired. While to my surprise I quite enjoyed this one. "I dream of Jenna" is populated by a well rounded cast of veteran performers and that is exactly why I think this film manages to succeed. Jenna, Nikita, and De'Nyle in particular are three very sexually aggressive personalities all of which command so impressive screen presence. Watching them interact with each other as well as some top notch male talent made for some enjoyable moments. Its not easy to imagine. A professionally produced feature film, an acclaimed director at the helm, an attractive castit seems ludicrous, impossible, yet Antonio Adamo has done it. Hes managed to make lesbian sex look pathetic. This has nothing to do with taste or preference. Some people like girl/girl, some people dont. Thats never stopped the girls from getting off just the same. No, what Adamos done here, in the conclusion of his Gladiator trilogy, is put on film a visual representation of the sexual chauvinism that preaches a good fuck is all thats standing between a lesbian and real sex. While Lynn Stone and Barbarella moan with heterosexual orgasmic pleasure in the foreground of the movies second scene, a couple of chicks remain interminably locked in a weak, quiet 69 in the background. Adamos close-ups dont add any excitement to the tryst; they merely clarify how unsatisfying it must be. The only thing holding me back from giving this film the higher rating it really deserves is the setting.
