Initial Expectations: It’s been way too long since I’ve seen a Serenity DVD. I’m looking forward to it!

Initial Reaction: It’s even better than I hoped, and really shows Serenity and Alec Metro’s acting talents well!

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who wants a plot with their sex

Who Should Avoid It: Raincoaters and anybody who wants to see Serenity take it in the ass

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and well balanced, but often dubbed. Giving credit where it’s due, the dubbing is nicely done. The video has a minor amount of grain to it, but is very nicely lit and uses both color and black and white footage in a very pleasing way. It’s presented in the widescreen format, but unfortunately it’s non-anamorphic rather than an anamorphic transfer.

Music: The music is pretty typical porno music, but is a bit on the loud side.

Menus: The menus look just as good as I expect from Wicked. There’s a nice bit of animation in the main menu. The chapter menu is pretty standard, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature: Guilty Pleasures is an adult version of the mainstream movies Cruel Intentions and Dangerous Liaisons. For those who haven’t seen either, Alec Metro and Serenity are step-siblings. Serenity is an evil backstabber, while Alec is a compulsive womanizer who’s fucked pretty much everything on two legs except for her (and it’s not for the lack of trying). Serenity makes Alec a bet. He can have her if he can bag a woman she picks out at a party in one week. If he can’t do it, Serenity gets Alec’s car, the one thing he really loves. At the party, Kiki D’Aire is selected, and the games begin.

Amber Michaels and Alec Metro start things out on the stairs as soon as they get home. Alec works her feet over before moving up to vigorously tongue and finger her twat. Amber returns the favor with a little knob gobblin’ while Alec plays with her ass, and then lays back on the stair for Alec to start boning her. Amber also gets a chance to ride Alec reverse cowgirl style before having him fuck has ass and decorate her face. Through it all, Serenity watches and masturbates, even video taping some of it. It’s a hot and energetic scene that has enough chemistry to get past some of the artistic problems that interfere a little.

Serenity and Amber Michaels take on Chris Cannon in the maid’s quarters at a party in the second scene. The girls start off teaming up to suck Chris’ cock and balls before the girls both get a little dick. Serenity gets fucked by Chris from behind, while Amber gets a rubber cock from Serenity. The girls trade back and forth fucking Chris, while also working on each other and getting a little oral from Chris before he finishes things up with a disappointing pop on Amber’s tits. I’m sure this was meant to go between both sets of jugs, but there’s barely enough jizz for one boob let along four. It’s a pretty good scene up to the disappointing end, having both nice chemistry and energy.

Serenity shows Alec one of her home videos next, which features Chris Cannon taking on Keisha and Heather Lynn. They take their time working each other over, with Keisha getting both of her holes nicely warmed up with tongues and fingers as well as almost taking a fist from Chris. Chris doesn’t even bother with one of the pussies when it comes time to fuck the girls, and goes straight to the A first with Heather and then with Keisha. As one gets sodomized, the other taunts them and plays with themselves and the others. Finally, Chris gives another dismal pops between their faces. It’s an extremely hot scene with great chemistry despite almost not having a pop shot!!!

Next up, Judge Mickey G. stops by to visit Serenity. Serenity fucks Mickey’s tongue before mouthing his member. She lets Mickey give her the meat injection from behind before bouncing on his boney baloney reverse cowgirl style and taking his guy goo on her amazingly well implanted tits. It’s a very good scene with Serenity showing the great enthusiasm she’s so well known for.

Alec Metro gets his chance with Kiki D’Aire in the penultimate scene. He attacks Kiki’s bald beaver with his tongue and fingers at her command, and then lays back for her to gobble his knob. They keep things going energetically through missionary and doggie, with both Kiki and Alec staying nicely in character from the start of the scene right up to Alec decorating Kiki’s tits. It’s a really hot scene that surprised me quite a bit. The sex was very couples oriented, but had a nice edge on it that made me feel like it could journey into much harder and nastier sex at any time. It’s a great feeling, and really helped this one turn into a smoking fuck scene!

Finally, Alec Metro collects on his bet with Serenity. Alec has Serenity put her amazing oral talents to work before spooning her. They move on through reverse cowgirl and missionary before Alec finishes things off on Serenity’s stomach. It’s a hot scene and a great way to end the movie sexually.

Guilty Pleasures is a hot fuck flick with a nicely acted plot. Alec’s wooing of Kiki D’Aire isn’t nearly as important here as the interaction and rivalry between Alec and Serenity, which isn’t watered down at all despite this being and adult film. They play off each other extremely well, and drive the entire movie up to a great ending. Of course, that stuff doesn’t matter much if the sex isn’t good, and here it’s darn good! It covers pretty much everything except a solid lesbian scene. Despite that, the scenes show great heat, chemistry, and enough talent that the cast stays in character throughout the scene. Yes, there’s group, anal, and a little lesbian action, but all of it has great chemistry that I think will make it work for couples. The only complaint I can have about the sex is that it’s a bit limited for positions and the artistic effects sometimes used in the sex scenes didn’t always work for me. Guilty Pleasures is a hot fuck flick that, although not perfect, is still well worth checking out.

Extras: Wicked’s standard extras, such as a company profile, web links, a commercial for the Free Speech Coalition, promotional materials, and the Wicked Casino are all included, as well as many more. Trailers are included for Flashpoint, Conquest, Double Feature!, Indigo Delta, Heartache, Katja Kean’s Sports Spectacular, Satyr, and one of my personal favorites, Knockout. Bios including a little personal information, a few photos, and a link to the star’s scene are included for Serenity, Amber Michaels, Heather Lynn, Michael Zen, Alex Metro, and Mickey G. Wicked is apparently moving away from the audio bio they’ve used for so long, and I see no loss of quality in them. If anything, I might like them better now. There’s also a few photo galleries, interviews, and featurettes.

Photo galleries are included for the movie, a behind the scenes gallery, and star galleries for Serenity, Keisha, and Heather Lynn. The production gallery lasts about three minutes, the behind the scenes gallery lasts about a minute, and the star galleries last between about a minute and a quarter and a minute and three quarters. In each case, you get about five seconds per photo and they all look great.

Interviews are included with Serenity, Amber Michaels, and Mickey G. Serenity takes about three minutes to talk about working with Michael Zen and her co-stars. Amber Michaels talks for roughly seven and a half minutes about masturbation (including how often she does it), sex, working for Wicked, and much more. Finally, Mickey G. talks about some of his future plans for working behind the camera and some of the awards he’s won for about three and a half minutes. It’s a nice selection of interviews that adds nicely to the overall DVD.

The blooper reel lasts about three and a half minutes. You get plenty of flubbed lines, a little cracking up, and a little screwing around. It’s a pretty typical blooper reel.

All Access: The Making of Guilty Pleasures lasts about nineteen minutes, and nicely identifies everybody in the cast as they first take the screen. It’s nicely led by Red Ezra, who’s now moved on to making great movies of his own. He interacts extremely well with the cast and crew, and brings a lot to the featurette. You get to see the stars preparing for and then working in their scenes, as well as screwing around a bit between takes. There’s a bit more of a focus on the shooting of the scenes than I like, but there’s still a nice amount of the other happenings around the set. Although not an astounding behind the scenes featurette, it’s better than most of them out there.

There’s also a few of easter eggs. First is Serenity TV Easter Egg with Serenity behind the camera interviewing Kiki D’Aire about making cookies. Second is Michael Zen trying to get rid of Red Ezra. Third, there’s Chris Cannon leaning a little something about driving and drinking coffee. Fourth, you get a little extra dialogue from the crew. They’re nothing special, but they beat nothing at all.

Overall: Currently, most of Wicked’s upper line of DVDs can be found online for between $20 and $30 with many stores offering them for around $23. If you’re a fan of Serenity Alec Metro, or the original movies, this one will be well worth the money. The movie is very nicely done both sexually and non-sexually. The technical aspects are good, but the video has a little grain. That’s more than made up for, however, but some very nice extras.

Note to Wicked: It’s great to see you supporting the widescreen format, but in the future, please take your support all the way to an anamorphic transfer.
