PREFACE:
This is a "Mike Lyons Quickie" review.  I will do "Quickies" when for one reason or another, I don't want to do a full review for a title.  Hopefully, in this way, my reviews will still remain fun for me, and informative for those who read them.  Comments or suggestions? Please email me.

INTRODUCTION:
This will be the first time I've watched a Wicked Pictures release in a number of years..  One might wonder why that is--and I have to admit that that would be a good question.  I have no good answer.  I even remember a bit of the last one I saw (although I can't remember its name) and I liked it pretty well.  Wicked just dropped off the radar for me for whatever reason, but with the very consistent positive reviews I've read about Wicked's work, I figured it was high time to take a gander at some of their latest offerings.  Falling From Grace comes pretty highly recommended by a few people, and besides that, it has Jessica Drake, who I think is a hottie.  It is a rather involved feature with religious undertones--not really my kink, but I'll give it a whirl anyway.

SCENE 1: 
SYDNEY STEELE & DILLON DAY
The Action

The Gist
The movie starts straight away with a sex scene.  That's a good sign, although Sydnee Steele just ... doesn't do it for me, and that's the plain and simple fact of the matter.  This was a pretty energetic scene, although it was a bit on the formulaic side (and also included some audio looping here and there), and it was plagued with uninspired porn music playing in the background throughout.  On the plus side, Dillon is quite attractive, if you like Sydnee Steele, she looks fairly decent here, and they both give convincing sexual performances in this scene.  On the minus side though, I was completely soft with no possibility of erection.  My biases of porn preferences are heavily in conflict with this scene, however, so you can take that as you may.

SCENE 2:
KITTEN & JOEY RAY
The Action
Blowjob in a car, Cumshot on lips (mostly not on target, though)..

The Gist
After some eye-rollingly bad dialogue and acting, there is an unexplained blowjob in a car happening between Kitten and Joey Ray.  Kitten is a dark skinned lady who we barely see in this scene.  It's comprised of a simple blowjob in a car.  It's short, you can barely even see what Kitten looks like, and I was pretty bored throughout..

SCENE 3: 
STEPHANIE SWIFT & FELICIA
The Action

The Gist
Now we're getting somewhere.  There were actually signs of life down below here.  Although I'm not a huge fan of girl/girl sex in most cases, and I've certainly seen more Felicia than I ever ever need to see again in my life time, but Stephanie Swift on the other hand is a beautiful woman, even given the number of years she's been in the industry and the number of movies she's done.  She has a fantastic, athletic and natural body and she looks freakin' fantastic here.  I wasn't so much interested in the action (which was just ok), as I was in just admiring Stephanie's gorgeous body, and that was enough to finally get some blood flowing and kick start some endorphins.

SCENE 4: 
STORMY & RANDY SPEARS

The Gist
From signs of life in the last scene, I came to full erection in this scene.  Stormy is the first girl in this movie that I really want to see get it on.  She and Randy Spears have a pretty decent encounter here, and Stormy looks quite yummy.  She has long honey blonde hair, big breasts, and something about her legs and how they are presented here just drives me crazy.  On the other hand, the sex itself was fairly uninspired and included what I felt to be fake moans by Stormy.  Others might interpret it differently, of course, but beyond my hard-on for Stormy's body, this was only average action at best. 

SCENE 5: 
SYDNEE STEELE & BRAD ARMSTRONG
The Action

The Gist
In a bit of a day-dream sequence amidst a backdrop of Gregorian chant-esque music, Sydnee blows the priest Brad Armstrong.  Sydnee certainly knows how to give a blowjob, and her enthusiasm certainly isn't lacking here.  I was aroused even despite my lack of interest in Sydnee, or the religious taboo context.  I can't say that my arousal was anything more than marginal, but it certainly wasn't for a lack of trying.  Ultimately, I was bored... and after having sat through more than half the movie, I'm really anxious to get to the scene that prompted me to pick this one up in the first place...

SCENE 6: 
JESSICA DRAKE, NICOLE SHERIDAN & VOODOO
The Action

The Gist
Well, this was the scene I most wanted to see and although it had its points, it was disappointing on a couple levels.  I remember first seeing Jessica Drake in one of the Puritan movies, and really liking what I saw.  I haven't had the opportunity to see much of her since, so I was anxious to see what she's up to these days.  She did look good, I have to admit, and I really loved her large weave fishnet stockings.  Mmm-mm.  Jessica is a pretty blonde with a very thin body--just my type.  Nicole isn't a bad looking blonde either, and both of them play hookers that are servicing a single John in the form of Voodoo.  Voodoo is a rather good looking chap with a rather large dick.  Unfortunately the scene was poorly lit--it was supposed to take place at night, but it would have been nice if we could have seen the action a little more clearly.  As with the other scenes on this disc, this one just had that air of heavy acting associated with it that just left a bad taste in my mouth.  There was nothing wrong with it per-se... Good looking women, some nicely captured action, but there was no spontaneity or excitement to it, even though there was certainly attempted energy and enthusiasm.  It just wasn't for me, I suppose. 

SCENE 7: 
SYDNEE STEELE & BRAD ARMSTRONG
The Action

The Gist
This scene was consistent with the rest of the movie.  It has a lot of qualities that many more couples oriented porn fans will really love.  There actually seems to be some chemistry between Sydnee and Brad here, although I think most of it has to do with Sydnee's mature capacity for good sexual performance.  It was nicely captured, Sydnee looks good, and the scene is erotic in a gently forbidden way, but again I was fairly bored with it.  For me, neither the story or the sex in this film did a whole lot for me.

OVERALL:
The plus side is that this is a nicely produced DVD.  It has a nice gaggle of extras, including several photo galleries, some cool interviews, a behind the scenes featurette that I found interesting principally because of the assistant director's (Jonathan Morgan's) sense of humor, and there's even an audio commentary with Sydnee Steele and Brad Armstrong.  All of this would be very appealing for someone who found a lot to like about the movie itself.  Unfortunately, I was not one of those people.  The film was nicely produced, with some very experienced and quite attractive performers who certainly do their jobs well, but I was left with the ever-present feeling throughout that the story and the sex were far too structured and badly acted to allow any convincing portrayal of emotion.  I'll be the first to admit though, that this is purely personal.  I have no interested whatsoever in the religious themes combined with sex, and watching this movie just confirmed that for me.  More than that though, I just didn't find the story interesting in the slightest, and it didn't help that it was badly written and poorly acted.  I did find some wood here and there, especially when it came to admiring Stormy and Jessica Drake's bodies, but ultimately the sex was almost as disappointing as the story.  I would encourage you to take a gander at Astroknight's, and Kobiata's reviews of this title as well.  They will offer a different (and more thorough) perspective, and will probably balance out my lack of enthusiasm for this film, which unfortunately has the distinction of being my first exposure to Wicked Pictures in about 7 years.
