Synopsis:
Two private detectives (Jonathan Morgan and Steven St. Croix) are hired by a woman (Christina Dior) to find a magic lamp which when opened renders anyone in the vicinity the inability to ignore their sexual urges. She is afraid the lamp will fall into the hands of the Sultan (Sean Michaels) who will use the lamp for evil instead of good. The sultan hires a spy (Jenna Wells) to learn the location of the lamp and procure it before the detectives can.

Audio/Video:
Arabian Nights comes with two different English tracks on the disc. There is a 2.0 Stereo track, which appears to be the original audio track for the film and there is a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track which has been remastered for this disc. Both of the tracks are good but have different musical scores to them. I have to say I prefer the score on the 5.1 track to the 2.0 track. The dialog is clear and easy to hear throughout the film. Wicked hasn't included any foreign language tracks or any subtitle options for the film on this disc.

Arabian Nights is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The video quality is in great shape here, especially for it's age, with no blemishes, artifacts or glitches. The only problem with the print is there is some streaking occasionally in the film. Given the age though, I expected far worse. The color levels are appropriately set. The stock footage is in rather poor shape but it could have been that way to start. There is nothing present here that will disturb your viewing experience.

Special Features:
This disc features less extras than usual on a Wicked disc, but then again, this is the first film to be made by Wicked Pictures, so there probably isn't much to be found that is related to the film. The best extra on the disc would have to be the bloopers, which runs for seven-and-a-half minutes featuring many flubs from the filming. There is a photo gallery that contains 20 stills on a track. There are also star galleries which have stills for Porsche Lynn, Sierra, Melanie Moore, Christina Dior, and Jenna Wells. There are biographies, which contain audio and text info on the star, a Wicked filmography, pictures of the star and a link to their scene, for Porsche Lynn, Melanie Moore, Stephen St. Croix, and Jonathan Morgan. Wicked has also included their promotional materials from the adult expos for 1998 through 2001. There are also trailers on the disc for Vengeance, Knockout, Double Feature, Working Girl, Flashpoint, Hell on Heels, Pornogothic, The Kissing Game, Bride of Double Feature, Satyr, Sex Safari, and Dreamquest.

DVD-ROM Special Features:
This disc is a PC Friendly enhanced title and Wicked has included their standard DVD-ROM extras on the disc. There is the Wicked Web, which is a gateway link to Wicked's website. Also included is the Wicked Casino, which is a free casino program that you have to install on your computer that allows you to play casino style games online against opponents for Wicked Cash or just by yourself for fun. The available casino games are Black Jack, Roulette, Baccarat, Slots, and Poker.

Navigation:
There are eight chapters available from the main menu for Arabian Nights. Each one is identified by a video clip and a scene name. The chapters are decent for navigation through the disc. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
This first release made by Wicked Pictures shows how come they became the powerhouse they are now. Although the film isn't perfect, it is highly entertaining which will make you forget about the imperfections contained within. The film is a constantly amusing comedy which contains loads of slapstick, sight gages and tongue in cheek comedy. Some of the jokes are horrible, really, really horrible but you forget about them fast as they get lost in with all the truly funny ones. Jonathan Morgan and Stephen St. Croix both give some great comic acting jobs and stay in character during the sex scenes. This movie would have been nothing like it turned out if the two of them hadn't been in it playing off each other.

The sex scenes end up losing some heat due to the two staying in character, but personally I think that it worked for the best. The sex scenes have a nice variety to them so you aren't constantly bombarded with the same acts in the same order. The filming of the sex scenes leaves a little to be desired though. Many of the scenes seem to have more R-rated footage than X-rated footage. I wouldn't want to see any of the R-rated footage removed, as it added to the scenes, but I would have liked to have seen some additional X-rated footage in the scenes. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with anilingus (female to female), blow jobs, pussy eating (male to female and female to female), Lesbianism, pussy fingering, and DP. For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

The sets are horribly cheesy, but they add to the fun of the film. Especially when Jonathan Morgan and Steven St. Croix are wandering around in the caves which you could tell easily were cheap fabrications. I have to give it to the lighting designer though, those caves looked halfway decent with the set lighting, if only they didn't keep shining the flashlights on them. Luckily this film never tries to take itself seriously so the cheap sets fit right in. If the film had tried to take itself seriously they never would have worked.

The Scenes:
The first scene brings us Jonathan Morgan and Christina Dior for a scene that starts out with some pussy eating before going into the blow job. The scene concludes with some vaginal sex. The second scene brings us Steven St. Croix with Jenna Wells and starts out with a blow job before finishing with some vaginal sex.

The third scene features Lacy Rose, Sierra and Porsche Lynn and is a lesbian scene that includes pussy eating, pussy fingering and some anilingus. The fourth scene features Sean Michaels and Lacy Rose and starts out with some pussy eating before going into the blow job. The scene then goes into the vaginal sex before some anal sex to finish the scene.

The fifth scene features Porsche Lynn, Julian St. Jox and Sean Michaels and starts out with a blow job before going into a pussy eating and blow job combo. The scene switches to a vaginal sex and blow job combo before going into a DP to finish the scene. The sixth and final scene brings us Steven St. Croix, Sierra and Melanie Moore and starts out with a blow job before going into a female pussy eating and blow job combo. The scene then switches to some male and female pussy eating before going into a vaginal sex and female pussy eating combo. The scene concludes with some vaginal sex.

Parting Thoughts:
Wicked Pictures has finally released their first film on disc and it is an excellent outing. The sex may not be as hot as it could be, but the story makes up for the rest. I highly recommend this film to fans of mainstream films such as The Naked Gun, Top Secret, and Airplane as they will have a great time watching this film. This is also a perfect film to bring home for your significant other to watch. This is definitely a film that you will want to consider purchasing since chances are you'll want to see it more than once. 'Raincoaters' and viewers that hate a plot will want to avoid this film.
