Description This is a comedy feature with a space travel theme, directed by Jonathan Morgan. The plot involves princess Stormy fleeing evil overlord Mike Horner and his sidekicks Kyle and Devinn, with the help of her protectors, Randy and Evan. General Impression This is a truly funny parody of just about every space-themed tv show or movie that I've seen. The humor is closest in temperament to the smirky, wry Mystery Science Theater 3000. The budget for this feature was $200,000 -- about six times the amount that Morgan is usually given. No expense was spared, and it shows in the impressive costumes, stage sets, special effects, and makeup. I found it thoroughly enjoyable, and would recommend it to friends. Several of the actors did a particularly fine job, Evan Stone, Devinn Lane, Mike Horner, and Randy Spears among them. Mike was working under a prosthetic mask, and was still able to deliver priceless facial expressions. But Devinn was our favorite, spirited and sumptuous as the Dark Witch. [read the full review]

Unfortunately, they fell short of the mark with this one, not all the scenes for the time period that this disc encompasses are present and the addition of the interviews are a nice touch but they are definitely missing with the lack of a presence of Jenna Jameson, Brad Armstrong and Steve Orenstein. Also missing is archive footage from the time regarding Jenna that would have made this release of more value to viewers like clips from her visits on the Howard Stern show. Little did I know the reason for that when I watched the scene. Director Jim Enright cleared it up for me later as I perused this discs Behind the Scenes featurette. Turns out that Ms. Bond appears here in her first ever boy/girl scene on camera. And thats an interesting fact, I think, but it didnt make me like the scene any better. However, I will say in her defense that Jezebelles performance isnt the worst thing in this movie. Written by Melissa Monet, this is the story of John, an old man (he looks to be in his 50s) whos just buried his best buddy, Harry. Or thinks he has. What John doesnt know is that his friends death was a sham, cooked up to provide him a second chance at lifein a younger body, with a successful career and all the women he can handle. While to my surprise I quite enjoyed this one. "I dream of Jenna" is populated by a well rounded cast of veteran performers and that is exactly why I think this film manages to succeed. Jenna, Nikita, and De'Nyle in particular are three very sexually aggressive personalities all of which command so impressive screen presence. Watching them interact with each other as well as some top notch male talent made for some enjoyable moments. Not to mention some enthusiastic performances from the likes of Inari Vachs, Lezley Zen, and Aurora Snow. Theres a small bar across the bottom of the of the screen thats through the entire opening credits. I think Ive seen the same LA backdrop before, so Im pretty sure its just that worn out. When the actual movie starts, the video gets back up to Wickeds normal above average transfer. The audio is pretty good, especially for the age of the feature. [read the full review]
