Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects leave this one feeling a bit dated. The audio is hit or miss, with some areas being nicely balanced while others are horribly balanced with bad music that seems out of control. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks okay. It's often a bit murky, but there's a steady hand on the camera and when one factors in the age of this release it's not too bad.

The Movie: When starlet Serenity wants to turn down a major leading role her agent John wants her to take, he sends her to the Hollywood Spa to wind down and relax a bit. What she doesn't know is they're sending her there to get in touch with her lesbian side as her only reservation about the script was the lesbian love scene.

Hollywood Spa is a decent piece of mid-90s smut. It's actually kind of hard to review this one, as it definitely falls short of so much of what Wicked's putting out over the last very years. At the same time, I guess I can say that I have enough “experience in life” to remember what most porn was like in the early and mid-1990s, and when put into that context this one was a pretty top tier release. You get Serenity in three scenes taking on girls and a guy, both in one-on-one scenes as well as the four girl group scene, and I'm still not sure it's possible to go wrong with Serenity. There's also some nice anal action from Papillon and Jacklyn, as well as a pretty decent massage scene between Ruby and Colt. There's never anything here that's going to make you think this was one of the points of pornography, but I've also rarely been too impressed with Fred Lincoln's work while this comes out as one of his better movies. The music is definitely a distraction, and the editing often left me a bit cold. Hollywood Spa is a decent little fuck flick that fans of Serenity will enjoy, but there's a lot better releases from Wicked Pictures and Serenity out there than this one.

The Extras: Trailers are included for eight Wicked releases. The photo gallery for the main production lasts two minutes, and there are also star galleries for the entire female cast with the exception of Emmanuelle and Papillon. There's also a blooper reel, star stats for most of the ladies, and commercials.

The blooper reel lasts just under two minutes. You get a few flubbed lines and a little fun on the set. It's a nice little blooper reel that adds a little to the overall package.
