Synopsis:
Reporter Jenna Jameson and her boyfriend were struck by lightning. The blow killed her boyfriend but as a result of it, Jenna became a vigilante with superpowers known as the Jennarator. When a crystal is stolen by the evil Ice (Laure Sainclair), Jenna tries to save the city before Ice can destroy it.

Audio/Video:
As far as the audio tracks go on this release, it more resembles a Marc Dorcel release than a Wicked Pictures release as far as accessibility in audio selections go. The main track is an English 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround track which sounds good except for the limitations from the original source material. In the beginning of the film the music levels are rather high, but they even out as the film goes on. The audio also has a very raw and unrefined sound to it, but I expect that is due to the original source material and not the remixing done by Wicked. If English isn't your primary language of choice, then don't despair. Even though the disc contains no subtitle options, there are 2.0 Stereo dub tracks for viewers that speak French, Spanish or German.

Wicked Weapon is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio for the film. The video presentation on the disc is good and probably the best that can be done with the original material. The presentation isn't as clear and crisp as current films from Wicked and is far from the beautiful presentations that I have seen on the Wicked Pictures/Video Marc Dorcel releases. Then again, the film was made in 1996 and chances are the equipment they used isn't as good as what either studio is using these days. There are no major problems with the video presentation and the colors, although slightly muted are good.

Special Features:
Although Wicked Weapon is an older title, Wicked has given it the full special edition treatment and leaded it with extras, most of which relate to the feature film and enhance the viewing experience. First up is the animated comic book, which isn't truly animated, but is a great feature none-the-less. Available on the alternate angle for the film, is a feature length comic book version of the film composed of still pictures, which makes for a fun second viewing of the film. There are four extended sex scenes included on the disc, Brad Armstrong and Jenna Jameson's sex scene, Brad Armstrong and Jenna Jameson's blow job scene, Jill Kelly and Jenna Jameson's lesbian scene and the orgy scene with Nici Sterling, Sindee Coxx, Jenna Jameson, Laure Sainclair, T.T. Boy and Peter North. More Jenna is always a great thing! There is a blooper reel with seven-and-a-half minutes of out takes. There are audio bios, which include text and audio information, a picture, a link to the stars' scene and a Wicked filmography, for Jenna Jameson, Jeanna Fine, Jill Kelly, Nici Sterling, Brad Armstrong, Mark Davis, and Peter North.

There is a plethora of photo galleries contained on the disc. There is the movie photo gallery that contains 40 stills on a track. There is the BTS photo gallery, that contains 19 stills on a track which involve the production. There is also a collection of star galleries each containing 20 stills on a track. There is a star gallery for Jenna Jameson, Jeanna Fine, Jill Kelly, Nici Sterling, and Laure Sainclair.

There are also some of the standard Wicked extras that don't relate to the feature film. There is the promotional material from 1998 to 2001 that have been shown at the adult conventions. There are also trailers for Crazed, The Gate, Spellbound, and XXX Training.

DVD-ROM Special Features:
Wicked has included their standard DVD-ROM extras on the disc. There is the Wicked Web, which is a gateway link to Wicked's website. Also included is the Wicked Casino, which is a free casino program that you have to install on your computer that allows you to play casino style games online against opponents for Wicked Cash or just by yourself for fun. The available casino games are Black Jack, Roulette, Baccarat, Slots, and Poker. There is also a Wicked theme wallpaper for your PC available on the disc.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc for Wicked Weapon is designed with simple animated menus that look great. There is a short animation between the menus. Wicked has been putting out some discs that look great these days and this is no exception. There are eleven chapters available from the chapter menu. Each one is identified by a video clip from where the chapter goes to. There are sixteen chapter stops available within the film itself. There is a time code for the feature film encoded on the disc.

General Review:
Wicked Weapon is a combination effort from two powerhouse studios, Wicked and Video Marc Dorcel, and has two powerhouse stars, the American Jenna Jameson and the European Laure Sainclair. Given all this, I was expecting an amazing film and although Wicked Weapon is a good film, it isn't the amazing film that I expected. It ends up falling short of it's potential and ending up being just an above average film, which is too bad because both Wicked and Video Marc Dorcel are capable of far better.

The story has a lot of potential and is a vein that we often don't see in adult films, a comic book style film. Unfortunately, the plot is heavily underdeveloped and in some places doesn't really exist at all. I really wish the plot had been worked on more as this could have been an excellent film. The possibility is there, it just wasn't explored. The sets for the film are excellent. Many of the locations are dark, but they fit the mood of the film and look great.

The acting present in the film is rather bad at points. Jenna Jameson may be able to put in some great sexual performances and may have some acting ability, but she only does one of those two acts here. Unfortunately, she doesn't display any ability to truly act here. She almost appears to be reading her lines as she says them and is missing the necessary conviction for her part. Her sexual performances are top notch though, so I can't complain too much.

Where the plot and the acting fail, the sex scenes make up for it. Fans of Jenna Jameson and Laure Sainclair will be pleased with this film as Jenna Jameson is in four of the scenes in the film and Laure Sainclair is in three of them. The sex scenes are well done with a good variety to them and although the sex is on the nastier side, there isn't anything too nasty about it. Beginning couples may find more than they are interested in here, but beyond that no one should have a problem with the sex, unless you are looking for the really nasty stuff, at which point you shouldn't be looking at a Wicked title anyway. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with pussy eating (male to female, female to female), pussy fingering (male to female, female to female), blow jobs, lesbianism, anilingus (male to female, female to female), anal fingering (male to female), vaginal toy use, anal toy use, and DP (male and a strap-on). For viewers that care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film.

Scene Synopsis:
The first scene gives us Jeanna Fine with Mike Horner and Jake Steed. The scene starts out with some pussy eating before going into a pussy eating, pussy fingering and blow job combination. Then the scene goes into a blow job and vaginal sex combination before concluding with some anal sex. The second scene features Jenna Jameson and Brad Armstrong and starts out with some anilingus before going into some pussy and anal fingering. The scene then goes into a blow job before some more pussy fingering. The scene concludes with some vaginal sex.

The third scene brings us Nici Sterling, Sindee Coxx, Jenna Jameson, Laure Sainclair, T.T. Boy and Peter North and consists of pussy fingering (female to female), blow jobs, vaginal sex and pussy eating (female to female). The fourth scene features Midori and Mark Davis and starts out with a blow job. The scene then goes into some pussy eating before it goes into the vaginal sex. The scene concludes with some anal sex.

The fifth scene gives us Laure Sainclair, Steve Drake and Vince Vouyer and starts out with a pussy eating and blow job combination. The scene then goes into a vaginal sex and blow job combination before featuring just a blow job. The scene then moves into a blow job and vaginal sex combination again before concluding with an anal sex and blow job combination. The sixth scene features Jenna Jameson and Jill Kelly for some girl on girl action that includes vaginal and anal toy use, pussy fingering, and anilingus.

The seventh scene brings us Jenna Jameson and Brad Armstrong for a blow job only. The eighth and final scene in the film features Eric Price, Jill Kelly and Laure Sainclair and starts out with some anilingus before going into some pussy eating. The scene then goes into an alternating pattern of blow jobs and vaginal sex before going into a DP (male and female using a strap-on) and then concludes with a blow job.

Parting Thoughts:
Wicked Weapon held a lot of potential for being a great film. The cast and directorial talent is there. And both of the companies that made the film, Wicked Pictures and Video Marc Dorcel, have both put out some excellent works. Unfortunately, the film never quite lives up to it's ultimate potential and ends up falling short. This isn't to say that Wicked Weapon is a bad film, it's just not the film it could have been. Fans of Laure Sainclair and Jenna Jameson will definitely want to pick this title up as Wicked has done an excellent job with the presentation on the disc. Viewers that don't like a plot in their porn will probably want to pass on the title. If the film sounds interesting but your not sure if it is right for you, I'd recommend a rental before a purchase.
