My Father's Wife Review

Writer-Director Brad Armstrong attempts an intimate Vivid-like modern relationship Angst movie. Sydney Steele stars as a college student who marries her much older Professor, Mike Horner, who has a grown son, played by Armstrong, living in the house.

But the old professor can't keep his hands off the young coeds and the marraige deteriorates. The son turns out to be as sensitive and kind as the old man is cold and heartless. You may be able to predict the outcome.

Steele is a pretty good actress, at her best playfully teasing Armstrong while he tries to talk to his girlfriend. Horner, the dependable pro, gets to fuck Flick Shagwell, who doesn't seem particularly interested. Steele gives Armstrong a fine kitchen blowjob while hubby dawdles in another room, but their penultimate coupling lacks heat.

The hottest sex in the movie is supplied by the Sydney/Asia Carrera living room couch pussy-licking fest broken up by the untimely return of stepson Armstrong. Asia gets the beauty award by a mile in this flick, and gets rewarded with a good pounding by an anemic looking Ian Daniels.

The main flaw in the film is the miscasting of Armstrong by Armstrong. He's about as expressive as a bowl of jelly. But the production values are high, and the photography, although a bit too much on the dreamy side, is very professional.

The extras include an excellent interview with Horner, whos been around since almost the beginning of legal porn, and shares some valuable insights into how the industry has evolved and his feelings about it.
