Initial Reaction: It’s pretty good, but nothing mind blowing.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting softer porn with a nice variety of scenes and not much plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting an extremely soft and romantic feature

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty clear and well balanced. There aren’t any background noises, but there were a couple spots where it seemed just a little scratchy. The video is much the same. It has a soft feeling, showing just a little grain, and a few shadows as well. Neither the grain nor the shadows interfere much, and actually give the feature a bit of an artistic feeling at times.

Music: The music is fairly typical porno music, but it also works in some softer styles very nicely. It’s nicely balanced with the rest of the audio, and seems to vary slightly throughout the feature for emphasis in places.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu has some simple but nice animation which gives a very nice first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and lets you choose between the start of the scene and the pop shot.

The Feature: When nurses Miko Lee, Allysin Chaynes, Summer Storm, and Lezley Zen are sent to a private hospice in the middle of the desert, things start to change. They make their rounds to deal with the patients in their own special way. The nurses seem to know a little something about each of the patients, and their attitudes start to change as they find a little hope again. Heck, things even start to turn around for the doctor and his assistant!

Steve Hatcher starts things off getting a taste of heaven with Summer Storm after helping her out of her uniform. Summer wraps her heavenly lips around Steven’s manhood and gives him a nice hummer before flipping her onto the bed so he can tongue her pucker and pussy. Steve moves onto Summer to fuck her pussy before sliding behind her and burying his bone in her ass. It’s a hot and energetic scene with nice chemistry. Summer doesn’t seem to hold anything back, and takes care of Steve with such great energy and enthusiasm that I almost forgot he was there. This is a rare thing for me in a scene, and I think it speaks volumes about Summer’s talent. Sadly, I’m not sure if she’s around any more or not.

Lezley Zen and Miko Lee team up to give former skier Gino Greco a little physical therapy in the second scene. Miko starts out sucking Gino’s nipples before moving down to join Lezley on his cock and then back up to sit on his face. This is a pretty hot scene. There’s good chemistry between the girls, and Gino is thankfully kept off camera for much of the scene. The camera work did seem a little off at times, but the chemistry and energy of the scene kept me interested anyway.

Nurse Allysin Chaynes and Hollywood star Stormy get it on in the third scene after all of their clothes except for their panties disappear. Allysin quickly makes her way down to suck Stormy’s snatch before Stormy reciprocates in kind. After Stormy has what appears like it might have been a decent orgasm, the end things with a kiss.

This is an above average scene, but not by much. Stormy and Allysin seem to be into each other pretty good, and put in some decent energy as well. It starts out a little slow, as the girls never get overly wild eating each other out and most of the scene is in one position, but there’s enough here to still make it a decent scene.

Doctor Trevor Zen gets it on with secretary Summer Haze in the fourth scene. They strip down and Trevor softly goes down on Summer’s snatch, licking it and lightly rubbing it with his fingers before sticking one in. Summer returns the favor with a little knob gobblin’, without much of a response from Trevor, before he magically gets hard (maybe it was a side effect of the condom magically appearing) and starts pumping her from behind. This was an entertaining scene, but not always like one would expect. Trevor seemed to be having some wood problems, and one or two of Summer’s looks of frustration and “what’s it gonna take” comes through. This kind of a start to the scene made many of the later reactions come off as pretty fake to me, and some jumpy camera work didn’t help things.

Miko Lee takes on new patient John West in the penultimate scene. She needs a “sample”, but refuses to let John get it himself because that’s not nearly as fun. She energetically sucks and strokes his cock until he finally pops on her tits.

This is an okay scene, but nothing that seemed that much above average for me. Part of my problem was because John came off as a complete dick at the start. Miko stripping down to her thong also didn’t seem right here (not that I’m complaining) for an oral only scene. I know I shouldn’t be thinking of things like this during a scene, and maybe that’s what says the most about this scene.

Finally, Summer Haze takes on Lezley and Summer Storm. They quickly strip down to their underwear before nurse Lezley and nurse Summer team up on secretary Summer. Summer Haze gets in the middle next, licking Lezley while Summer Storm devours her ass, before it turns to Summer Storm’s turn in the middle with Summer sitting on her face while Lezley eats her.

This scene didn’t strike me as much above average either. The girls seem to be into each other okay, but the camera seemed to be having trouble getting angles that would show something. I wasn’t ever sure if the girls were really into each other or not, and could have easily walked away from this scene at any time.

Angels of Mercy is a pretty stereotypical porno. The plot is just enough to hold the scenes together, and never takes any thought. The sex is varied, which is nice, but never seemed to really get to its full potential. I think much of this was due to the camera work, which often left me a bit unsatisfied, but I also had trouble getting into it because I never really felt the cast was into it. There’s a few good moments, but never a scene that left me floored due to the chemistry between the performers. Angels of Mercy is a nice escape, but not much more.

Extras: The photo gallery includes twenty nice looking snapshots. You’re presented with a close-up thumbnail on one screen which you can then blow up to near-full screen size to view. Trailers are included for Taste of a Woman, Photogenic, Pin-Up Girls, and The Flesh Game. There’s also bonus scenes, a behind the scenes featurette, and weblinks.

The first bonus scene features Keri Windsor and Pat Myne, and comes from Naked Hollywood 7: Never Say Goodbye. Keri orally attacks Pat’s organ right away, and takes him down her throat several times before letting him return the favor. It’s a pretty good scene, but feels a little off. Both Keri and Pat normally give a very energetic and intense performance, yet here Keri constantly has to tell Pat to smack her harder (spanking her, not treating her as if she was the wife of a professional athlete) which makes things feel odd here. It’s still a pretty good scene, just not as intense as I would have expected from these performers.

The second scene features Jewel De’Nyle and Julian and comes from Unforgettable. They quickly strip down, which unfortunately reveals Julian’s hideous wedding tattoo of Jill Kelly on his stomach, before Jewel attacks his cock orally. The cameras go right from the makeup chair, through the photos and rehearsals, and right on through the sex being shot. You even get a few clips of what happens behind the scenes. There’s also plenty of interviews with the cast and plenty of Bud Lee talking. It’s a very nice behind the scenes feature that gives a great feel for the ladies in the cast as people as well as the professionalism of some of the cast, especially Ron Vogel. Overall: Currently, Adam & Eve’s DVDs can be found online for between $8 and $25, with several stores offering this line of DVDs for around $15. I’d aim a bit low here unless you’re a big fan of somebody in the cast. The movie’s okay, but nothing that memorable. There technical aspects are pretty good, but the extras are very nicely done.

Note to Adam & Eve: The behind the scenes feature is great, but in the future, a few chapter breaks would be a very good thing!
