Expectations I have never watched an Adam & Eve movie. While I generally like gonzo films, I don't mind a good couples feature every now and then, especially if they feature great looking ladies. This one has Jodie Moore and that is the primary reason I'm watching it. Capsule Review It's very average couples fair. The sets and technical aspects are a little on the low end. Regular readers of my reviews already know that I don't attempt to review porno plots. These are an oxymoron in my mind. Technical The lighting leaves something to be desired as many of the scenes are too dark. The audio is fine. I can't tell if the mastering has problems because of the dark scenes, or if this is a separate issue. Overall, it's not too bad, just slightly on the weak side. In fact, when I saw the box cover I didnt even realise it was a Vivid film. The studio has also implemented other presentational changes. One thing that struck me right away were the revitalised extras, which still arent anything spectacular (decent photo gallery, too few trailers, unrelated sex scenes, extra cast clips as well as a Vivid Girl facials segment) but are welcome relief to the previous arrangement. Hopefully Vivid are taking consumer input onboard. The sex in the film also seemed slightly harder than in past Vivid features. Im not sure if that increases or decreases couples appeal, but Raven has a marginally less vanilla flavour than I expected. Now having a few more movies under his belt, Im really looking forward to seeing what else Ezra can do. Initial Reaction: Its pretty good, but not quite up to some of the other features Ive seen from Ezra. Who Should Watch It : Couples who dont want much plot or people who like fairly artistic sex Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants nastier sex Audio /Video Quality: Both the audio and video are very good. The audio is very well balanced, but there are a couple spots that appear to be dubbed. There are also a couple spots where there isnt any actual audio from the performers. "A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I've had some positive experiences with Legend in the past. So, will this be one of them? The Movie: Nymph Fever 4 is porn's answer to the zombie film. The plot goes like this: The Nymph virus is loose, and infecting people. It also, apparently, can raise the dead, turning them into sex maniacs. So, upon learning this two FBI agents (Gwen Summers and Nick Manning) are sent out to investigate. Most of the cast is either zombies or victims, with the exception of Briana Banks and Dale DaBone, who play scientists, and Evan Stone, who plays the villian. The sex in this movie is average, with nothing to outstanding. I've come to expect this from Legend, so I wasn't shocked. What I was shocked by was the lack of variety in the scenes. There are no girl/girl scenes and no group scenes. Everything is boy/girl, with two anal scenes. All the scenes end in facials, and a good portion of the scenes are with condoms (which doesn't bother me at all, but will probably bug a lot of viewers). [read the full review]
