Initial Expectations: Roy Karch’s offerings haven’t impressed me much in the past, so I’m not expecting too much here.

Initial Reaction: It might have been better named Wasted Time.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who doesn’t want anything beyond vaginal sex and who likes long, drawn out scenes

Who Should Avoid It: Raincoaters and anybody who wants anything beyond vanilla vaginal sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio varies between the sex and non-sex portions. The sexual parts are normally balanced pretty well, although a couple are a bit on the quiet side. The non-sex portions are very quiet, to the point that I almost fast forwarded through them since I couldn’t hear or make out much of what was said, and often poorly balanced. The video is pretty clear but does have a little bit of grain. It’s clear out to the edges, and the lighting is also pretty even.

Music: The music is pretty standard porn music, and ranges between nicely balanced and being just a bit on the loud side.

Menus: The main menu has some very nice animation that’s well done and gives the feature a nicer feeling to start out with. The chapter menu is pretty standard, offering a small clip from the scene and a chapter number to help you choose.

False Advertising: The cover makes this sound like a comedy, with Ava playing with herself and doing wild things to get some loving from her man. Instead all she does is act kind of pathetic and the most extreme thing she does is talk to a friend. The cover also states that the Sex Reel is included on the DVD, but I couldn’t find it anywhere.

The Feature: Ava Vincent and Mickey G.’s romantic moments have been stolen away from them. No, not in any interesting way, but because they have a bunch of freeloaders staying with them. As everybody gets fucked and move out, Ava and Mickey find out that they might actually get a little time together.

You can really tell she enjoys her work, and if she improves on this I think she might be able to give a quadriplegic a hard-on.

Ava Vincent and Mickey G. finally get a little time to themselves, after a little interruption by Julia. Stolen Moments is extremely dry in almost every way. The plot sequences make pretty much everybody in the feature appear like pathetic, whining losers with the exception of Keli Muse. Although this appears to work in many popular TV shows, all it did here was make me wish Sylvester Stallone would return to adult films, preferably with some heavy weaponry, to take care of almost everybody in the cast. The sex didn’t help much, with the obvious exception of the amazing Keli Muse, as it frequently went on so long as to get boring and start to put me to sleep. I admit that this happens every now and then while watching a lot of porn, but often the scene ends soon after, so I tend to think it’s just me. Here, there were entire positions left and I was already starting to fall asleep, and this was early in the movie. Stolen Moments has a pretty honest title, and is one you should probably rent rather than buy.

Extras: Bios are included for Ava Vincent, Brooke Hunter, Chris Cannon, Dale DaBone. The interviews range from four minutes with Chris to about twelve minutes with everybody else. Each interview covers some of the more common subjects, like where they’re from, how they got into the industry, their hobbies, favorite position, and what they hope to do after leaving the industry. It’s a great way to handle the star bios, and gives a really nice feel for each of the stars.

Many of the other standard extras are here as well. The photo gallery is arranged in the thumbnail style, where you can pick a photo out of a group of up to six thumbnails (there’s twenty total), and blow it up to near-full screen style. It’s a great way to do a photo gallery, and once again, shows a bit of class. Trailers are included for A Devil’s Tail, A Wolf’s Tail, After Midnight, Beauty & The Bitch, and Naked Hollywood 3: Wired: Love in the Electronic Age. As usual, there’s also website information.

The first bonus scene stars Inari Vachs and Dale DaBone in a scene from The Third Eye. Inari and Dale are two of the best looking examples of their genders in porn today, and the two of them together looks just as great as it should. It gives you a different view of the scene that allows you to see and hear some of the crew that’s there to make the movie magic happen. There’s also a little bit of footage on working with the wolves and Asia and Bud’s feelings on the wolves. It’s a nice behind the scenes, and does give a very good feel for the movie, which I thought was great, but I think I would have much rather seen something pertaining to this feature instead.

Overall: Most of Adam & Eve’s Premium Collection titles normally sell for between about $15 and $25, with plenty of stores offering them for under $20. If you have to buy it, wait a while since this one might get really cheap. The movie lacks everywhere except the scene with Keli Muse, which is quite good. The transfer is clear, but the audio transfer lacks. Finally, the extras are nice, but nothing you can’t get elsewhere.

Note to Adam & Eve: I really hope you don’t have Roy Karch signed to any kind of contract. Also, please pay a little more attention to your covers. This is the second of Roy Karch’s features I’ve watched that the cover’s description didn’t really come close to. Couples often do pay attention to what the movie’s about, as many look for adult films that sounds fun. This one sounds that way, but nothing in the movie came out like the box states.
