Synopsis:
In the second volume of this pro-am series from Adam & Eve, newer adult talent is paired up with seasoned veterans in this all sex film.

Audio/Video:
Amateur Angels 2 is presented with an English 2.0 Stereo track, which is all that the film requires considering it is entirely made up of sex and dialog. There is no need for fancy audio effects or any other aspect that might require a surround track so the stereo track is more than adequate. The dialog can be heard at all times during the film. Adam and Eve haven't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options on the disc.

Amateur Angels 2 is presented in its original full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The picture presentation, although slightly soft, is clear and free from blemishes, glitches and artifacts resulting with a decent viewing experience. The color levels are appropriately balanced for natural looking flesh tones. Viewers shouldn't be disappointed by the video presentation contained on the disc.

Special Features:
Adam and Eve has included a few extras on the disc for your supplementary entertainment. They have included cast bios, which are composed of basic information and a picture of the talent. There are bios for all of the female cast, but none of the male cast members. There is a slide show, which contains 42 stills on a track. There is the behind the scenes piece, which focuses on the photo shoots and the filming of the movie. And last, but not least, there are previews for Amateur Angels, Forbidden Lust, and Sex Across America 7.

Navigation:
There are six chapters available from the main menu for Amateur Angels 2. They are identified by a video clip from the scene that they go to. There is one chapter available for the beginning of each of the scenes. There is no time code encoded on the disc for the feature film, so time searching isn't available and the chapter selection is your only means of navigation.

General Review:
The basic formula to the scenes is the same in all of the scenes and is the same as in later volumes in the series. Each scene starts out with a brief interview with the female talent with some participation from the male talent and then the scene goes into the sex. The formula, quite similar to other all-sex series from other companies, works and the interviews help break up the scenes.

The female cast is billed as amateurs and although they are newer to the industry as of the production date for the film than some of the cast members of later volumes, some are still far from being amateurs. Although many of the female cast members debuted into the industry in 2001, there are a couple from 2000 and one as far back as 1996, so the billing of amateur is slightly stretching it but it doesn't in any way ruin the film.

The sex scenes in the film are tame and perfectly acceptable for new to porn couples as well as viewers that don't like to see the nastier side of porn. The biggest problem with the sex scenes in the film is that they appear to be very formulaic. Just because a film contains tame sex doesn't mean that the scenes need to all feel the same. The sexual themes in the film are oral and vaginal sex. For viewers that care about condoms, four of the scenes utilize condoms and two of the scenes don't.

The Scenes:
The first scene, which is the best scene in the film, gives us Tawny Roberts and Ricky in a scene that starts out with some pussy eating before the blow job. Then they go into the vaginal sex and to end the scene, Ricky pulls out to cum. The second scene, which is a decent scene, brings us Angel and Jay Ashley for a scene that starts out with some pussy eating and a blow job. Then they go into the vaginal sex before Jay pulls out to cum.

The third scene, which is one of the poorer scenes in the film, brings us Meriesa and Dale DaBone for a scene that starts out with a blow job before Dale pays Meriesa's pussy some attention. After the vaginal sex, Dale pulls out to cum. The fourth, and also rather poor, scene brings us Jennifer Steele and Chris Cannon. The scene starts out with Chris eating Jennifer's pussy. Then goes into Jennifer giving Chris a blow job before they go into the vaginal sex. Chris pulls out to cum to end the scene.

The fifth scene, which is a decent scene, brings us Nefertiti and Julian St. Jox and starts out with Nefertiti giving Julian a blow job. After Julian pays some attention to Nefertitit's pussy, they go into the vaginal sex. To end the scene, Julian pulls out to cum. The sixth and final scene is another decent scene with Sandy Knight and Colt Steele. The scene starts out with a blow job before the pussy eating. Then they go into the vaginal sex before Colt pulls out to cum.

Parting Thoughts:
Amateur Angels 2 is a decent all-sex series for couples but I found this volume to be slightly lacking when compared to later volumes in the series. The sex seems more formulaic here and the cast is not as good as in later volumes. For viewers looking for tamer sex without a plot, this could be a decent rental or cheap purchase.
