Audio /Video Quality: As with Simon Wolf’s previous efforts, the technical aspects are excellent. The audio is clear and well balanced without any background noises. The video is just as good, staying clear right out to the edges and not suffering from any excess shadows.

Music: There’s a little soft music here and there, but not much. It mostly appears during the position changes, and adds a bit to the scenes.

Menus: The main menu is fairly simple, but has some decent animation to give it a fairly classy feel. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a clip and scene number. When you make your selection, it brings you to another screen that lists the performers in the scene and lets you jump to your choice of several places in the scene. It’s one of the best done chapter menus I’ve seen.

The Feature: After starting out nicely identifying each of the performers in the opening credits, Tabitha Stevens gives a short intro about how she has a mint in her mouth and likes her sex hard, fast, and wet. Tabitha shows up for a little intro or finale for each scene where she talks with the performers in the scene, and each scene also includes a nice little intro screen that introducing the performers in the scene.

If nothing else, it makes for a great starting point for any couple who want to try an all sex feature. Oddly, I think Dripping Wet Sex 1 would also be great for raincoater fans, which is very rare. There are some more extreme acts as well as nice energy to the scenes. This is a lot of what makes a raincoater movie work for me, and I never felt bored or disappointed with Dripping Wet Sex 1. I admit that I was worried when I heard that Simon Wolf was going to branch out from the couples movies they’ve done so well in the past into an all sex feature, but they’ve kept the same high quality here. With Dripping Wet Sex 1’s quality, I’m guessing Simon Wolf has a big investment in Kleenex.

Extras: In the past Simon Wolf has included a nice selection of extras. Although Dripping Wet Sex doesn’t include as many extras as some of their other features, but still includes a very nice selection. Trailers are included for Blue Angel, Naughty Bedtime Stories, and Love @ First Byte. The photo gallery is done in a thumbnail format. You’re given a glimpse of the snapshot in thumbnail form, and from there can blow up any of the sixteen snapshots to near full screen size. It’s a fairly different way to do it, and made it a nicely different photo gallery since you didn’t always know who you were going to see.

Bios are included for Aurora Snow, Evan Stone, Nicole Sheridan, and Inari Vachs. As with Simon Wolf’s previous features with Adam & Eve, the bios are done in interview form and last from five minutes up to sixteen minutes. The stars talk about how they got in the business, their favorite positions, what they plan to do after they leave the business, and their hobbies. It’s a great way to handle the bios since you hear everything right from the horse’s mouth so to speak. Each of the stars come across very real, but Aurora Snow really impressed me. Many of the scenes I’ve seen her in didn’t do much for me, but she came across as such a real person that I couldn’t help but look forward to seeing more of her in the future.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts almost a half hour and captures a bit of every scene in the movie. There’s a bit of the scenes and photo gallery being shot, Tabitha screwing around and working with the cast, and a bit of the extra happenings around the set. Most importantly, it features Evan Stone and Ron Jeremy, which means there’s quite a bit of humor mixed in throughout the featurette. Inari Vachs also comes off very well, and very professional in some of her coaching of Jenna Haze. It’s a very well done behind the scenes featurette that’s well worth watching.

The sex is hot, the transfer about as close to perfect as I’ve scene, and the extras well done. Simon Wolf’s DVDs are definitely worth paying attention to!

Note to Simon Wolf Productions: Very nice job! The only thing I can think of that I would have liked here would have been an interview with Tabitha Stevens. It seems a little weird to have four interviews but none with Tabitha after how much she was involved with this feature. A few chapter breaks during the behind the scenes featurette would also have been a nice touch with how well it was broken apart.
