Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally very well balanced and clear, but there is a bit of dubbing here and there. The video has a slight bit of grain and a few shadows, but generally is also nice and clear. There’s also a bit of slow motion that seems to only interfere with the feature.

Music: The music is pretty standard for couples porn. It’s soft and smooth, and for the most part nicely balanced with the rest of the audio. There are a few spots where it’s the only audio, but it’s not often.

Menus: The main menu is fairly plain, but does have a little animation. The chapter menu is very well done, offering a small clip from the scene, a title for the scene, the stars in the scene, and what type of scene it is. There’s a lot of care shown here, and it really pays off.

False Advertising: The plot of the movie itself isn’t remotely close to what’s described on the cover. For most people this isn’t going to matter, but some people, especially the couples this feature seems to be marketed towards, it might. There are also many of us who enjoy a certain theme to some of the porn we watch, and this one doesn’t come close to meeting what’s suggested on the cover. The cover also states there’s an anal scene, specifically with Maren Beautte, that isn’t in the feature.

The Feature: Unlike what the actual cover suggests, which makes Chloe’s Acting Up sound like a fun take on the acting business, it’s actually about a group of friends who are all cheating on each other. The only one who’s really honest about it is Vivian Valentine, Chloe’s roommate, who apparently brings home a new guy every time a day ends in “y”. Everybody else is concerned about how to hide their indiscretions, but in the mean time keep themselves occupied with plenty of sex.

Vivian Valentine, a cute brunette with nice little tea cup titties, and Kyle Stone get together for the first full scene. Kyle gives Vivian a morning gift of just what she could use, a hard cock. Although the scenes are pretty good on their own, and do have some great chemistry, they suffer from an extreme similarity that gradually brings the movie down as a whole. It’s really too bad, since the individual scenes aren’t too bad and the cast has quite a bit of talent. Although fans of the cast might be happy with their star’s individual scenes, they might want to rent Chloe’s Acting Up before shelling out the big bucks.

I’d wait to see if this one drops down a bit or rent it before spending this kind of money. The individual scenes are good, but suffer from such sameness that the movie quickly becomes quite boring. The transfer and extras are nicely done.

Note to Adam & Eve: Thank you for paying attention to some of the overall details on this DVD. Although I didn’t care for the movie, it’s nice to see a company put some effort into the overall product to make it as good as possible.
