Initial Expectations: Simon Wolf has amazed me with every one of his features I’ve seen so far. I have no reason to expect any different here.

Audio /Video Quality: Simon Wolf has had some great technical aspects in his other features, and it’s no different here. The audio is clear and well balanced, although there are a couple instances where the balance falters a little. The audio is even so clear that you can hear the bed shake a little on the floor when people actually use it for fucking. The video is just as good, and is clear right out to the edge without any shadow problems.

Music: As usual with Simon Wolf’s features, the music is done in a similar style to a mainstream feature. It doesn’t appear for just the sex. Instead it comes and goes throughout both the sex and non-sex portions, and is very well balanced with the rest of the audio when it does appear

Menus: As usual, Simon Wolf gives a great first impression with his menus. The main menu is nicely animated and easy to navigate. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene by a small clip and a scene number, which then brings you to a menu that identifies the cast in the scene and lets you jump to one of many places in the scene. It’s one of the best chapter menus I’ve seen, and the only thing that might help it out is to identify the performers on the initial scene screens. Other than that, it’s probably the best chapter menu I’ve seen.

The Feature: When computer geek Mouse (Aurora Snow) gets a new toy for her computer from Steven St. Croix, she doesn’t know what she’s getting herself into. She’s been working on 3D simulations of a man, and when lighting hits the transformer outside of the house she rents with sex maniacs Asia Carrera and Keri Windsor, her simulation is brought to life in the form of Evan Stone, who has come from another dimension. No, she didn’t think of things like programming in whether he’s potty trained, if he can use silverware or not, and whether or not he thinks it’s okay to wear stripes and plaids together, but thanks to Asia, she did make sure he’s got a big dick.

Real life couple Mia Smiles and Chris Cannon start things out in a porno playing on the TV while Aurora Snow works on her computer. It’s an amazingly hot scene, which isn’t much of a surprise since Keri and Joel seem to be doing a fair number of scenes together and they’ve all been extremely hot. The only complaint I can have with the scene is there’s one spot which looks to have been repeated from a different angle.

Asia Carrera takes newly created Evan Stone for a test run in the next scene. Asia drops down to inspect Evan’s package orally after having him undress her. Not surprisingly, Asia puts some great enthusiasm and energy into her cocksucking, once again showing why she’s one of the best cocksuckers out there. There’s a lot of humor throughout the entire lead-in to the scene, including Randy undressing her. It’s a very hot scene, and a perfect one to end things with. Evan and Aurora really play great off of each other throughout the entire scene, and make this one of the best in the feature, and one of the best scenes I’ve seen from Aurora. I’ll readily admit that I couldn’t really see what all the hubbub was about Aurora before watching her in any of Simon Wolf’s features, but after seeing her in a few of them, I can now see the light.

Simon Wolf has put together something to howl about with Love @ First Byte. The plot is fun and feels almost like a sitcom. Actually, with a few very minor changes, it probably could have been one. The entire cast shows all their potential with the entire thing, showing both incredible sexual ability as well as great acting chops. Although the story revolves around Aurora Snow’s character, which she gives an innocent and lovable geekiness, nobody really leads the cast. They all play their role so well that nobody stands out above the rest. They all have a moment or two that’s pretty much guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a tent in your shorts (if you’re equipped that is). The sex is the same way. Every scene is a winner, and has nice energy and chemistry while showing the couples sex can have some great intensity rather than being boring. Love @ First Byte is a winner in every way you can think of.

Extras: As with many of Simon Wolf’s DVDs, a second DVD is devoted completely to extras. There’s many of the standard extras, such as bios and trailers, but there’s also plenty of other extras such as interviews, bonus scenes, and behind the scenes.

Bios are included for Aurora Snow, Evan Stone, Mia Smiles, April, and Keri Windsor. As with the rest of Simon Wolf’s features, the bios are handled as interviews which last between four and a half and seventeen minutes where the stars talk about how they got into business, their first scene, favorite performers, hobbies, and what they plan on doing after leaving the business. Believe it or not, most of them want to move behind the camera after being in front of it. It’s a great way to do bios, and gives a nice feel for the performer as a person rather than just reading about them on a screen.

Great looking photo galleries are included for Love @ First Byte as well as Naughty Bedtime Stories, Dripping Wet Sex 1, and Blue Angel. Each gallery uses a modified thumbnail format, where you select the photo from a small thumbnail, which blows it up to near full screen size where you can see the entire thing. The Love @ First Byte gallery contains twenty four photos. There are eight photos each in the Naughty Bedtime Stories and Dripping Wet Sex 1 galleries, and six photos in the Blue Angel gallery.

Bonus scenes and trailers are included for three other Simon Wolf features. The first trailer and bonus scene is from Blue Angel and stars Monique DeMoan and Steven St. Croix. Steven lets Monique spread her legs so he can give her an oral warmup to get her natural juices going just in case they are the same size. Steven tongues both of Monique’s holes before having her mouth his manhood and then ride it reverse cowgirl style. Steven moves on to fuck both of Monique’s holes from behind, which Monique seems to get into more and more as the scene goes on. This was one of the best scenes in Blue Angel, and a great choice for a bonus scene.

The second bonus scene and trailer comes from Dripping Wet Sex 1 and stars Joel Lawrence and Aurora Snow. Joel Lawrence finds himself unable to resist Aurora Snow as she reaches across the couch from the opening scene for what looks like either an ashtray or a piece of art. He slides his lubed fingers into her panties and into her asshole before working his cock into it without giving her, or receiving, and extra warmup other than a couple slaps on the ass. Cute bleached blonde Violet Blue gets her quiet evening at home reading about King Arthur interrupted by the appearance of a shining sword, Merlin(George Kaplan), and finally, Arthur (Evan Stone), who apparently hasn’t had a haircut since the demise of Camelot. Evan quickly woos the fair lady with kisses for her wonderfully natural body, especially her cock socket, while guiding her foot down to give his skin sword a little polishing. Apparently her foot just isn’t doing the job Evan wants, so he has her spit polish it with some nice oral attention and enthusiasm. The interview with Bud Lee lasts about twenty one minutes. Bud starts out talking about working with Aurora Snow and the rest of the cast before moving on with Simon Wolf and Mouse the dog. He also talks about some of his favorite moments in the feature and how some of the scenes and effects were done in the movie. Finally, Bud talks about some of the upcoming Simon Wolf features. Once again, Bud’s a riot once he gets to talking about Simon and Mouse, and makes it easily the best extra while also giving some nice background on the entire movie.

The blooper reel lasts about three and a half minutes. There’s plenty of throwaway lines, people getting caught in the scenes that shouldn’t have been, quieting people down, faces for the camera, flubbed lines, and sexual bloopers. It’s a nice bit of fun that’s a great way to kill a few minutes.

Finally, there’s the behind the scenes featurette, which lasts about thirteen and a half minutes. There’s a bit of Bud Lee talking about things and working with the cast to get what he, Simon, and Mouse (the latter two who of course aren’t seen) want in the scenes as well as shooting the scenes. There’s also some great footage of shooting the photo gallery, which nicely also includes the final photo, and a bit of what else is happening on the set. It’s a shorter featurette than many of Simon Wolf’s other behind the scenes featurettes and doesn’t include every scene from the movie, but is the best one I’ve seen so far. There’s plenty of shots of making the movie, but it also throws in plenty of the screwing around on the sex that makes it a lot of fun as well. Make sure to save the time to watch it.

Overall: Most of Simon Wolf’s features can be found for between $20 and $25. Once again, Simon gives you more than your money’s worth. The feature’s hot and fun, and the transfer and extras are excellent. Simon Wolf is putting out some of the best adult DVDs today!

Note to Simon Wolf Productions: It’s great to see somebody willing to take the time to do things right. You’re features don’t seem to come out extremely fast, but they’re proving to be well worth the wait!
