Jim Powers rips off National Lampoon's Animal House for this installment of his Kelly the Coed series. Dean Stockwell (Rod Fontana) puts the TKE frat house on double secret probation because their GPA has fallen below 3.0, with very little time to get it back up, which makes Kelly (Allysin Chaynes) bummed.

As far as being a feature movie, Kelly the Coed — Part 6: Double Secret Probation is a total loss. Powers tries to inject humor, but frankly it isn't that funny at all. One example of these failed attempts can be seen at the beginning of the movie, when Kelly is trying to chant while sucking the professor of Eastern Civilization's (Tony Martino) cock.

The story is beyond lazy in this outing. Kelly is still a freshman and manages to break the fourth wall in the very beginning of the movie. The early entries in this series featured decent amounts of footage being shot on a campus. Almost no footage at this point is shot at a recognizable campus, causing the series to lose the feel it had. A good portion of this movie seems to have been shot in an actual TKE frat house somewhere, but that is to the detriment of the movie since it doesn't always fit. For instance, toward the end it is mentioned that the professor of Eastern Civilization is naked in a dorm room, yet he is clearly in the hallway at a TKE frat house.

There is some continuity for actors from previous entries in this entry but not for all. For instance, Mark Vega returns as Mark, now Kelly's ex-boyfriend, however, Rod Fontana, who played Dean Fontana in part four and played Kelly's faculty adviser in part three, is now Dean Stockwell.

The technical aspects are lacking too. There are points when the camera goes out of focus. And the worst of the worst, large portions of the movie have been pixelated out. It starts during the beginning when part of a building has been pixelated. This is repeated every time that building is seen. Then in the room where the GPA speech happens, TKE on the blackboard is pixelated out along with the Ironman sign next to the board. The bizarre thing is although the two portions of the building that are pixelated are never seen not pixelated. The TKE on the blackboard and the Ironman sign both also appear not pixelated at points. Exactly why Powers would shoot a building he couldn't show and would need to pixelate TKE and the Ironman sign for portions is unknown, but it detracts horribly from the movie.

The female cast is cute and the sex scenes are okay, but they aren't worth sitting through the rest of this movie.

Heatwave has done a lackluster job with this release. Kelly the Coed — Part 6: Double Secret Probation is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of approximately 1.33:1. The presentation has glitches in the video and there are portions where the colors are off, for instance flesh tones appear red. There is also a white digital artifact that appears on the screen for a period of time. Kelly the Coed — Part 6: Double Secret Probation is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track which has a significant issue. The audio becomes distorted and not listenable during the GPA speech at the TKE house. After this scene the audio corrects itself, but this scene was impossible to listen to. There is also a dubbed Hungarian Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo track included on the disc. Heatwave has included two extras on the release. There is a fifteen minute behind the scenes piece and a photo gallery. There are two angles available for the sex scenes.

Kelly the Coed — Part 6: Double Secret Probation is a new low for the Kelly the Coed series from Heatwave. Not only is this effort lazier than previous entries, significant portions of the movie have portions of the screen removed with purposely done pixelated out portions of the screen. Heatwave has done a lackluster job with the release to boot.
