Backstage Passes Review

I have never watched an Adam & Eve movie. While I generally like gonzo films, I don't mind a good couples feature every now and then, especially if they feature great looking ladies. This one has Jodie Moore and that is the primary reason I'm watching it.

Capsule Review

It's very average couples fair. The sets and technical aspects are a little on the low end. Regular readers of my reviews already know that I don't attempt to review porno plots. These are an oxymoron in my mind.

Technical

The lighting leaves something to be desired as many of the scenes are too dark. The audio is fine. I can't tell if the mastering has problems because of the dark scenes, or if this is a separate issue. Overall, it's not too bad, just slightly on the weak side.

Scene Review

Scene 1 - Anna Malle

I have never been an Anna Malle fan. It's not that she doesn't have a good bod, cause she does. It's not that she isn't passionate about sex, because she is. It's just that she gives me the creeps! Seriously, in a 2 bit hooker kind of way. Anyway, she looks reasonably good in this scene. She is made up well and drops to her knees without hesitation to give a very sloppy blowjob. This scene is seriously dark, too dark. It is very hard to see the sex. Eventually she gets on a table, that helps a bit with the lighting. He eats her, fucks her and she does PTM before taking it on the face. Condom alert. Whack Factor: 5

Scene 2 - Kelly Warner

Kelly Warner is dressed very nicely in this scene. She wears a pink professional suit and stockings. This is good, since she is not an inherently beautiful woman. This sex scene leaves much to be desired. It is overacted and displays no real passion or heat. This is the epitome of the couples porn generalization. Even the facial can't help it! Whack Factor: 2

Scene 3 - Mia Smiles

Mia is sitting at a bar, wearing a nice skirt, blouse and some kind of hat that looks like a dead animal on her head. It is hard to keep from laughing. She cruises backstage and does shots with the roadie, before dropping to her knees to do some more shots. Once she undresses and removes that stupid hat, she looks pretty good. This is actually one of the better scenes in the film, both technically (you can see it) and from a sex standpoint. Much of this scene is a standing fuck and that works well for Mia with her long lean legs. Unfortunately, the scene never climaxes. Too bad. Whack Factor: 5

Scene 4 - Mia Demore

This Mia is a brunette with big jugs and an okay face. She wears a bustier that accentuates her cans. She drools way too much as she sucks barely the tip of his dick. This is like a false advertising thing and really turns me off. For God's sake woman, you are supposed to be a porn star, now put the dick into your mouth already! As he goes down on her, we find that she has a very hairy bush... another turn off for me. About the only good thing in this scene is that he comes in her mouth. Whack Factor: 2

Scene 5 - Jodie Moore

Jodie looks great in her purple bra and thong set. Unfortunately, this scene suffers from the darks as well. She really does have a smokin' bod, and the foreplay to this scene is some of the hottest footage in the film. It gives Jodie a chance to show off that killer ass. She gives a very nice kneeling blowjob, and then he returns the favor by munching on her. The sex is good and reasonably warm. Jodie does a good job of taking the spooge in her mouth. Definitely the best scene of the disc. Whack Factor: 7

In Conclusion

The is average to below average couples porn. If you are a Jodie Moore fan, rent it. Otherwise, just skip it.
