Initial Expectations: The one scene I’ve seen from this feature already was pretty good, but Adam & Eve has been on a downhill slide with their DVDs lately which makes me a little wary of it.

Initial Reaction: Well, that’s an hour and a half I won’t get back.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who’s trying to justify spending money on better porn and trying to remember why cheap porn is cheap

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody looking for very well done sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is fairly clear, but at times feels like somebody didn’t know how to record it. There’s a crackling sound like the audio is being maxed out near the beginning, that’s very noticeable. The audio is also slightly off balance much of the time. The video is pretty average, but seems like it often wants to be both close and far away at the same time. This gives much of the sene a slightly off focus feel, since only one of them can be clear at a time. The lighting is also a bit off much of the time, with the colors often seeming a little weird.

Music: The music is pretty typical, and fairly well balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu is pretty plain, but does have a little bit of animation. The chapter menu is surprisingly well done, letting you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a listing of who’s in the scene. It also gives you codes that let you know if there’s anal in the scene and gives you the opportunity to jump directly to the pop shot. It’s a nicely done menu, that to be quite honest, kind of surprises me.

The Feature: Gina Lynn is having problems. Not only is she having problems sleeping due to the number of sexual dreams she has, she’s now finding them plaguing her during her waking hours. Dreamscapes is a pretty forgettable movie. The plot is fairly lame, as is most of the sex. The only scenes that really stand out are Gina’s scene with Giselle Yum and Renee LaRue’s scene with Kyle Stone. The rest of the scenes seem like the editors and cameramen weren’t quite sure what they were doing. I see Barry Wood did the camera, who is normally very good, so I’m not sure what the heck happened here. Regardless, Dreamscapes shouldn’t get too high on your viewing schedule.

The thirteen minute bonus scene comes from All the Rave and stars Chandler and Dale DaBone. It’s pretty obviously the first scene in the movie since the scene starts with the opening credits. Sadly, it looks like Adam & Eve doesn’t have anybody left doing their DVD creation anymore with enough know-how to cut a scene from what I’m assuming is the middle of the chapter to let the bonus sex scene be just that without having a lot of clutter. Either that or they’ve started shopping at Mal-Wart for their creators rather than using whoever made their DVDs so great a year or two ago. When the scene actually gets around to sex, Chandler starts sucking Dale’s cock, including Dale doing push-ups over her open mouth. Overall: Most of Adam & Eve’s movies can be found for between about $10 and $22 after a month or two. I wouldn’t want to pay any higher than $10 for this one, even if you’re a big Gina Lynn fan. The movie is very forgettable, with only a couple scenes that are even average. The transfer is okay, as are the extras.

Note to Adam & Eve: It’s nice to see you trying to bring out lower cost DVDs, which are something most people like. Please note that there’s a difference between lower cost and cheap, which isn’t something most people like.
