review from 4/11/2021:
Hired to ghost-write a book by a wealthy socialite (Kay Parker), Eric Edwards encounters--and takes advantage of--a world in which just about everyone is corrupt. From Parker''s and her husband''s (John Leslie''s) cheating ways to an au pair with sticky fingers (Rikki Harte) to Edwards'' quasi-girlfriend/stripper (Tina Marie), everybody seems to have an angle. The only innocent one? Parker''s and Leslie''s blind daughter (Joanna Storm)...who''s naively looking for love. So goes "Firestorm", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. [read the full review]

review from 4/10/2021:
From its catchy opening score, cleverly-cut credits, and nostalgic shots of old-school New York City, it''s clear that the audience is in for a fun and sexy treat with "Spitfire", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. Reproduced beautifully at Hotmovies.com, this production is in many ways pornographic poetry in motion from start to finish. Exquisitely captured and edited, this film is centered around a corrupt professor-turned-politician (R. Bolla) whose "chastity belt" agenda has caught on nationally and is bringing in millions. Of course, he''s actually a perv and a fraud, his daughter (Tigr) is an insatiable nymphomaniac, and his wife (Samantha Fox) is a gold digger in every sense of the word. Needless to say, the storyline is intricate, well-crafted and comical, the acting is superb throughout, and the end result is a true Golden Age classic that should not be missed. review from 7/22/2020:
Ron Jeremy Goes Throat Deep is an adult film loop from Cecil Howard and Command Cinema. The loop is a re-edited version of a scene from Firestorm 2: The Angel Blade. As a stand-alone adult film loop, Ron Jeremy Goes Throat Deep works very well. Unfortunately, Command Cinema's streaming-only release leaves a lot to be desired. [read the full review]

Flash's
review from 7/22/2020:
Vanessa is an excellent adult film loop, that was initially called Vanessa's Hottest Fantasy, from Henri Pachard and Command Cinema. Vanessa Del Rio rarely disappoints in her scenes, and she certainly doesn't disappoint the viewer in Vanessa. Unfortunately, Command Cinema has done a poor job with their streaming-only release of Vanessa with mediocre video and audio quality. [read the full review]

Fatale Media's groundbreaking lesbian fuck-fest still excites the eyes and mind with its lurid depictions of all varieties of female lust. Flash's
review from 11/26/2019:
Suburban Dykes is a really fun queer short film from Debi Sundahl. The movie never really goes anywhere. Still, the journey to nowhere is a whole lot of fun with great performances from adult film industry legends Sharon Mitchell and Nina Hartley, along with Peppar, who this reviewer is surprised never became a more prominent name given her talent. Debi Sundahl has managed to cram so many different sex scenes and fetishes into the movie that it is hard to believe it is only a half-hour long. Suburban Dykes is genuinely a fun, guilty pleasure. Fatale Media has done a good job with the picture quality of their streaming-only edition of Suburban Dykes on PinkLabel.TV, but the sound leaves something to be desired. [read the full review]

Fallen Angels (Alpha Blue Archives) review summaries:

review from 7/2/2021:
While held in disdain as a selectively-edited hatchet job against the adult film industry by some insiders, 1985''s "Fallen Angels" nevertheless provides an interesting, contemporaneous behind-the-scenes look at the skin flick world of the mid-1980''s. Re-released digitally by Alpha Blue Archives and streaming on AdultEmpire.com''s Unlimited service, this film largely focuses upon a trio of porn starlets new to the industry (Kristara Barrington, Lisa Lake, and a short-termer named Kim), interviewing them (and, where applicable, their boyfriends) at various points over a several month period. 8mm Madness Volume 2 Number 1: The Rough & Raunchy Collection is a collection of 8mm loops that focuses on the more taboo loops that were released. There is a nice variety to the loops contained on the release, and most are in relatively good shape. review from 11/12/2019:
If you're going to put together a short (less than 30 minutes) compilation of mid-80's porn, then to really have your best shot at doing it right, you need to make it all about Christy Canyon--and Ginger Lynn, as well--arguably the two biggest stars of the era (...at least who were of age). That's exactly what "Dirty 30s", a very good production from Alpha Blue Archives, does...and does well. [read the full review]

Flesh Gordon (Blu-ray) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 11/3/2019:
Flesh Gordon is a softcore parody of Flash Gordon, which combines the right level of camp, cheesy special effects, and ambition behind it to be a fun film, even though the originally conceived hardcore version was never to be. Fans of hardcore films from the 70s should find a lot of fun here, while also trying to find the blue screen actors and actresses from the era in the film hiding in the remaining close to hardcore footage. Hen's Tooth Video has done a decent job with their Blu-ray release of Flesh Gordon. The picture exhibits some heavy grain, and the colors appear to be overly muted in places however, this is likely the best the film will ever look for the home video market. [read the full review]

Let My Puppets Come (Blu-ray/DVD) (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 1/22/2020:
Let My Puppets Come is a real oddity in the world of adult film being the first, and only, adult puppet musical movie. The film is an adult puppet show that lampoons the adult film industry, with well-made puppets, extensive musical numbers, and a good heaping of low-brow humor. Let My Puppets Come isn't going to be for everyone in fact, the viewers that will genuinely enjoy the film will be in the minority. For the right viewer, though, Let My Puppets Come is a fun film. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their Blu-ray and DVD combo pack with excellent picture and sound quality. [read the full review]

When Jamie Gillis, sporting a dick-nose pair of glasses, throws a party, all of the masked, costumed freaks--from maids to furries to doctors to magicians and so on--show up...and fuck. What results is a hardcore, nonstop entanglement of flesh involving the likes of John Holmes, Sharon Mitchell, Mai Lin, Misty Dawn, Ron Jeremy, and several other notable performers of its time...and the ensuing action is hot! Distraught over dirty dreams, an innocent, God-fearing, young woman named Peaches (played by the big-busted brunette legend, Keisha) leaves the trailer park to embark upon a journey of self- (and sexual-) exploration that takes her on one hell of a wild (...and often awkward...) ride. review from 10/2/2020:
All sexual hell breaks loose when two dopes, one a fish oil salesman and the other a raving mad genius, concoct an elixir for their newly-formed, natural medicine store that ends up being a potent, long-lasting aphrodisiac. Of course, this accidental event both creates an insatiable demand for the product and also a local emergency, as man and woman alike succumb to their baser desires and imbibe the potion. A pack of sex-hungry loons that terrorize San Francisco with their untamed libidos is the result. So goes "Blondes Have More Fun", an exceptional, 1979 release from director John Seeman that has been exquisitely remastered and reissued by Vinegar Syndrome and company. [read the full review]

review from 3/25/2019:
Chained is a BDSM feature movie from the beginnings of Bizarre Video. Unfortunately, the story, the BDSM aspects, and the sex itself aren't very good in Chained. The production itself looks cheap and, unfortunately, has little to offer the viewer. Bizarre Video has done an adequate job with their streaming and download edition of Chained with video quality that is acceptable for the age but poor audio quality. [read the full review]

For those interested in taking a nostalgic look back at one of America's most prominent, raunchiest, and seediest of cesspools of hardcore filth and pornography (meant with all of the love that a true connoisseur of both the City and adult fare can conjure up, of course), the 1985 film "Time Square Comes Alive" from Alpha Blue and director Vince Benedetti may be just the ticket. review from 7/1/2019:
Having pissed off a group of poker-playing hicks, a rough-and-tumble biker gang, and a couple of low-rent mobsters, two unemployed, wannabe cowboys (Rick Lutze and Paul Thomas) and a young, runaway bride (Amber Hunt) find themselves on the run and in hiding. Whether their constant string of good-for-nothin' shenanigans has finally caught up with them or whether they'll escape and live happily ever after remains to be seen, but--either way--the one thing that's for certain is that there will be a heapin' helpin' of hot and horny fucking along the way. Flash's
review from 7/6/2019:
A Climax of Blue Power is an interesting roughie. A Climax of Blue Power was initially made as the softcore roughie The Impersonator by Lee Frost and then was converted, with inserts, into the hardcore roughie A Climax of Blue Power. Some of the inserts were well done and others, not so well done. As an exploitation film, despite being quickly made, A Climax of Blue Power works well. As a hardcore film, A Climax of Blue Power works poorly, and the inserts add nothing to the film at all. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with their Blu-ray and DVD combo pack of A Climax of Blue Power with good sound and picture quality. [read the full review]

Brier Patch Girls is an enjoyable barely legal feature film from the beginning of the 1980s. review from 2/9/2019:
When his promiscuous, dissatisfied hippie of a wife (Dorothy Smight) opts to divorce him, leaving him unable to pay to for it, the down-on-his-luck Jon Martin has little choice but to take on a low-end job as an encyclopedia salesman for an ambitious businesswoman (Brigit Olsen), who's also the client of his attorney (Christine DeShaffer). Of course, Jon would be an utter failure at this piece of his life, as well, if it weren't for his almost uncanny ability to ensnare women with his naively innocent charm...and then satisfy them thoroughly with his seemingly mystical cock. Such is the case in Howard Perkins' overall-good, 1978 release, "Hot Lunch", which has been skillfully remastered by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Traumatized by one awful experience after another, a young, promising high school graduate, Cindy West, ultimately finds herself both without a voice and also initiated into a sexualized, satanic, New York City cult. With her hatred of men growing by the minute, and the cult's leader, Guy Thomas, interested in only one thing from his flock, it remains to be seen whether Cindy will fall victim yet again or whether she'll rise above it all and find solace (and revenge) in the arms of her lord, Satan. Helena is an odd French hardcore film. While Helena is a hardcore film it almost seems like it was originally intended to be a softcore roughie and the tone of the film takes a drastic change halfway through the film. 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. Bat Pussy (Blu-ray) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 11/18/2017:
Bat Pussy is not a good adult film by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, calling Bat Pussy an adult film is likely even a stretch since there is nothing erotic about the film. Bat Pussy would honestly be better as birth control than as an arousal aide. The only purpose in life that Bat Pussy actually serves is to be used for a Mystery Science Theater 3000 style get together where one has a bunch of people together to endlessly mock the film. As a result, it is impossible to recommend Bat Pussy to any sane person. Robot Love Slaves is a rather poorly made film as well with few, if any, redeeming qualities. There is no real reason to need to see Robot Love Slaves either. AGFA has created as close to a definitive version that one will ever see for Bat Pussy with an excellent presentation on the Blu-ray. Robot Love Slaves is disappointing however with a rather worn and beaten print of the softcore version of the film. [read the full review]

Deep Throat (Blu-ray) (Intimate) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 11/18/2017:
Deep Throat is a historically significant film within the adult film industry due to the part the film played in kicking off the porno chic era. That aside, Deep Throat is nowhere near the best film to come out of the golden age of adult films nor was it anywhere near the best film to have been made by Gerard Damiano. Deep Throat is a cute comedy that will give the viewer some laughs and offers some nice looking sex scenes. Deep Throat is worth watching but don't expect anything groundbreaking here. Intimate Film has done a frustrating job with their Blu-ray and DVD combo mediabook release of Deep Throat. The image appears to have been upscaled from 720p poorly to 1080p for the release and the audio sounds very flat. [read the full review]

A Woman's Torment is an excellent horror/adult hybrid film from writer/director Roberta Findlay. Findlay does a great job of the complex balance of horror and sex within A Woman's Torment and Tara Chung is excellent in the lead role. Fans of the genre should not let this film pass them by and Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their Blu-ray/DVD combination package release of A Woman's Torment with absolutely beautiful audio and video quality. Dark Dreams (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Flash's
review from 10/15/2017:
Vinegar Syndrome has done an absolutely stunning job with their DVD release of Roger Guermantes 1971 film Dark Dreams. Unfortunately, the film, itself, isn't that good. Dark Dreams is a horror/adult feature film hybrid which is a dream-based film. Even when the viewer reaches the end of the film, the plot makes little sense and the film is very erratically edited with some less than erotic sex scenes. Dark Dreams looks absolutely beautiful on this release, however, the film itself is impossible to recommend. [read the full review]

review from 9/20/2017:
In the 1971 shocker, DARK DREAMS, directed by, Roger Guermantes, Jack(Harry Reems) and Jill(Tina Russell), are a newlywed couple. It is the day of their marriage, after a three-year courtship between the two. They are driving down the road, while arguing about sex. Jill is still a virgin, and Jack has waited all these years to finally have her. However, she does not want her first time in the car. Much to Jack's dislike, they keep on driving. That is, however, until they get a flat tire. Jack gets out of the car to check for a spare tire, but is surprised that his friend did not have one in there. Because of this, Jack and Jill are stranded in the cold on their wedding day, when they decide to knock on the door of an old Victorian house, which they spot nearby. [read the full review]

review from 8/16/2017:
In this 1975 roughie. Directed by Zebedy Colt, (under the name Arthur Nouveau) we have a simple story that turns potentially deadly, and fast. In this seemingly normal story, which turns gritty, Ellen Anderson(Kim Pope), is just your average 1970s housewife, whose husband(Levi Richards) is readying to leave for a business trip. But not before some coffee and sex. When the husband leaves out, Ellen is left alone. Unfortunately however, somebody has been watching her. [read the full review]

review from 8/7/2017:
Intrusion is one of the most brutal and offsetting adult films ever made and the film is one of the best of the horror-adult hybrid films. The sex is unlikely to be erotic due to the psychological horror aspects of the film and the non-consensual nature of the sex scenes. However, the film is truly chilling due to the great cast and the good script and should be enjoyed by fans of the genre. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their DVD release of Intrusion with an amazing image quality and excellent audio. [read the full review]

review from 6/10/2017:
Living a superficial, upper-middle class life with his mundane, flimsy facade of a family, a mediocre psychiatrist (Ron Jeremy) finds himself stuck with an unfaithful wife (Lisa B.), who's cheating upon him with his best friend (George Payne) and also their daughter's quasi-boyfriend (Sean Eilliott). Thrown into the mix is said budding, but "invisible" daughter (Tigr), who's covertly exploring her own sexuality in all manner of bizarre and dangerous ways. Of course, for his part, Ron is cheating with a slew of prostitutes and his clingy secretary (Copper Penny), who happens to also be banging Payne, as well. On top of it all, Ron finds himself harassed throughout the film (during cut-scenes) by a large, talking white light, the identity of which is fairly easy to figure out, though it isn't formally revealed until the end of the flick. Such is the case in "Scoundrels", a very good, 1982 release from Command Video and acclaimed director, Cecil Howard. [read the full review]

Scoundrels is an excellent feature adult film from the golden age of adult films. The film was crafted with care and it shows in the end results. Scoundrels is a rather dark drama that uses hardcore sex along with the non-sexual portions to tell a story, instead of just having a story that exists to have sex scenes. Scoundrels is a must see for fans of feature-style adult films. Vinegar Syndrome has, yet again, put out a beautiful release of classic adult films with this entry in their long-running Peekarama series. Hollywood Cowboy is a unique and interesting bisexual feature adult film from the early 1970s. What makes Hollywood Cowboy so interesting is the combination of heterosexual and homosexual sex scenes in the film. It isn't all that common to see both within an adult film. Hollywood Cowboy has a lot of issues with it, however, the film is a bunch of campy fun making the film well worth watching. The Midnight Hustler is an overall ugly film from an anonymous director. Sadly, The Midnight Hustler just serves as an example of how cheap and slimy adult films could be in the 1970s. The plot is essentially non-existent and many of the sets are plain lacking. The sex scenes aren't overly well-done. The Midnight Hustler is an easy film to skip. The quality of the film itself aside, Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming only version of The Midnight Hustler on Exploitation.TV. Their print is beaten up and there are some issues that go back to the production but Vinegar Syndrome has made what they had to work with look good. [read the full review]

As is their modus operandi for their loop compilations, Impulse Pictures has included 15 loops on the release broken into the three categories of boy/girl, three or more, and lesbian. The vintage of the loops ranges from the very early 70s through the mid-80s which is roughly the span of when hardcore loops were produced. The quality of the loops, both in visual and in actual production values, obviously varies from loop to loop. Impulse Pictures has done a nice job with this release. A seemingly virginal, though certainly troubled, young woman, Rosemary (played by Sharon Thorpe), finds herself both unable to have sex unless in impersonal situations and also swirling further and further into madness, particularly upon the death of her estranged father. Where this disturbed path that her troubled psyche takes her upon will ultimately lead is anyone's guess, but one thing is for certain, and that's that it will be dark...and sexual. In the 1980 film, A PLACE BEYOND SHAME, Seka is a woman, whom, for some reason has lost her sex drive. After a most recent mishap with her potential lover, "Paul"(Don Fernando), Seka is frustrated beyond believe. Frustrated that she can't let her inhibitions fly, and indulge in the pleasures of sex. This is when she brings her frustrations to her best friend, "Diane"(Lori Blue), who is pretty promiscuous herself But as Diane goes on to explain it, she wasn't always this way. There was actually a time that Diane could not climax, thus experiencing the joys of the adventure. To rectify her situation, Diane hooked up with an unorthodox Psychiatrist named "Michael"(Paul Thomas), whose practices, soon knocked Diane out of her slumber. Inspired, Seka soon takes the initiative to see this Psychiatrist in hopes that the same can be done for her. [read the full review]

Impulse Pictures continues on their long-running compilation series of adult loops with their newest entry 42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection Volume 19. As with previous entries in the series, the old 8mm loops collected here are broken into the lesbian, boy/girl, and groupings categories. The loops included here vary from ones that start with the action already going to ones with set-up and subtitled dialog for the scenes. Fans of the old loops should enjoy this collection as much as they have enjoyed the previous collections. Impulse Pictures has done a good job with the release. Each loop is of differing quality, but most are in generally good shape. [read the full review]

Edward D. review from 6/28/2017:
Writer/Director Kemal Horulu's 1983 drama-thriller, NEVER SLEEP ALONE, begins with an ominous tone right out of the gate. This as the camera captures a scene outside of a court building, where all we can hear are the ongoing proceedings of a trial. It is then that the film takes us back in time to chronicle the life of Lisa Alexander"(Tina Marie) and her husband "Dan Alexander"(John Leslie). Lisa and Dan, maintain an unconventional lifestyle. They are swingers, and often go to parties thrown by their neighbor "Diana"(Honey Wilder) at a local club called "Plato's Retreat", where basically anything goes, when it comes to sex. Both Lisa and Dan are very open in their relationship and are allowed to have relations with others, however, they have but one rule. They are not to sleep with each other's friends. This is something that they have been able to manage. However, soon, things get complicated, when Dan begins to have eyes for Diana's new roommate, "Natalie"(Joanna Storm). [read the full review]

The particular value of Vinegar Syndrome's re-master and reissue of "The Oral Generation" is primarily a historical one. Indeed, this film provides a fairly unique window back to the past and the early days of the industry's inception. Presented as a documentary--which was typical for such early releases due to obscenity standards of the era--this production offers up a mix of educational material and commentary. The principal focus is upon oral sex--still something of a taboo in 1970--and its value to couples, particularly women. [read the full review]

Of course, along the way, the viewer is "treated" (term used lightly) to various sexual episodes, none of which are spectacularly exciting. review from 12/20/2016:
Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. Taboo 2 has some issues with the video and audio but is still the best release of Taboo 2 on the market and Taboo 3 looks absolutely stunning. [read the full review]

42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection Volume 16 is a decent compilation of loops from back when they were shot on 16mm film and released on 8mm film for home viewing. As can be expected from a compilation such as this, some of the loops are far better than others. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with the release, all of the loops included are in good shape but unfortunately the only identification they have been given is their original name. If you like the old 8mm grinders, you will find a lot to like here. [read the full review]

Vinegar Syndrome's All Night at the Po-No is a collection of 12 quickly and cheaply made early 70s Los Angeles made adult films. A lot of what is presented here after one viewing you will never want to view again. There are a few others that will stand up to repeated viewings. Vinegar Syndrome wisely decided to make the cost not to expensive so it doesn't matter that a lot of the films presented here are duds. The few winners make up for it. The transfers aren't up to Vinegar Syndrome's usual standards but all the films are watchable. Vinegar Syndrome did miss the mark a little on the disc authoring and the extras included. If you like adult films from the transitional period from softcore to when hardcore films started getting actual budgets, you'll want to check this set out. [read the full review]

When a big-time, 1920's gangster's (Harry Reems') whiny girlfriend (Cara Lott) hits the road, he's quick to find another main squeeze in the form of a fresh-off-the-bus cigarette girl (Ginger Lynn) at one of his clubs. Unfortunately for Harry, while Ginger has all of the requisite physical attributes (...and then some...) to meet his picky standards, she's a bit too innocent and proper for his low-brow tastes. What's a guy to do when faced with such dire circumstances? Well...employ his incarcerated buddy's, and fellow gangster's (Herschel Savage's), tawdry girlfriend (Amber Lynn) to train her, of course. What could possibly go wrong, right? Such is the case in "Trashy Lady", an exceptional re-release of director Steve Scott's 1985 masterpiece from Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Gangster Dutch (Harry Reems) has just been left by his regular dame, Jessie (Cara Lott). With the third annual 'Gathering of the Brotherhood' merely weeks away, Dutch is desperately in need of a new girl. Upon being introduced to the beautiful Katherine (Ginger Lynn), a cigarette girl working at the hottest speakeasy in town, The Paradise Club, Dutch is immediately smitten but soon discovers to his dismay that Katherine is a 'good' girl. Determined not to let her get away, Dutch enlists the help of Rita, a rough broad, who also happens to be the favorite squeeze to rival gangster Louie (Herschel Savage), to transform Katherine into the perfect Trashy Lady. A smooth-talking, San Francisco card dealer, Herschel Savage, finds himself caught up in a diabolical, murderous plot of world domination, when he's hired by Jamie Gillis and his enigmatic mistress, Jacqueline Lorians, to seek out a magical book of prophecies originally sealed by God due to its extraordinary power. Little does Hersch know, however, but a group of aphrodisiac-wielding, Nazi relics from World War II--now hiding out in South America--are also after the tome, as they intend to employ it in reestablishing the glory that was their cherished Third Reich. Such is the case in "Blue Ice", an exceptional--albeit quirky and somewhat bizarre--1985 release from director Phil Marshak and Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Finding herself strangely (and a bit drunkenly) unsettled by her father's (John Leslie's) marriage to a younger woman in Virginia City, Desiree Cousteau (as "Peaches") races off down a canyon in her jeep, only to veer off of the road and crash...leaving her with a bad case of amnesia and a lost identity. Of course, it's just her luck that two low-life characters find her, steal her transportation, and exploit her for their own ugly purposes...setting off a cascade of difficult events for the young Desi that only seem to go from bad to worse. Such is the case in "Pretty Peaches", an exceptional, 1978 release from director Alex DeRenzy which has been remastered exceptionally well by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome have cleaned up and re-released Alex DeRenzy's PRETTY PEACHES (1978) with the original 91 minute 35mm film intact and looking better than ever in all its wide screen glory. Bouncy and bubbly Desiree Cousteau plays Peaches, who takes a knock on the head then wanders about not knowing who she is, which is a recipe for horn dogs and other assorted sleaze bags to take advantage of her. No condoms but plenty of wacky dialog accompanying the sexual shenanigans in this xxx comedy concoction. [read the full review]

Vinegar Syndrome has put together a good pairing of films with their release of Bella and Robins Nest. Bella is the highlight of the set and is worth the purchase all by itself. Vinegar Syndrome has added a nice piece from Carter Stevens on Bella as well. The second film, Robins Nest, isn't as good as Bella is but one can think of it is a free extra since Bella is worth the price of admission alone. The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome have scanned and restored two classic flicks from their original 35 mm camera negatives. Both films feature real life lovers Arcadia Lake and Eric Edwards and one of the films, BELLA from 1980, might just be one of the best from that era, while the other flick, ROBIN'S NEST from 1979, is a solid little xxx comedy. So, PEEKARAMA: ROBIN'S NEST/BELLA (2016, Vinegar Syndrome) becomes an easy rave recommendation for those classic fuck flick aficionados, who will finally get to see BELLA in a beautiful wide screen restoration along with some solid BELLA extras including a video interview with cinematographer Carter Stevens and a terrific original trailer. Humanity, in its seemingly infinite stupidity, has long since killed itself off, and a race of space-traveling robots and "thinking machines" has taken its place. Of course, there still remains one hope--one chance, if you will--for mankind, as one of the machines named Mentor, who resembles a cross between a trash can and a fifth grade art project gone wrong, brings to life a single, test-tube born member of the race, the outrageously gorgeous Kari Klark. Klark, the "Star Virgin" and stereotypical, horny blonde bimbo to the max, is life's last chance...which means that it's pretty much fucked...or, at a minimum, fucking. Such is the case in this clever, cheesy, and comical little re-mastering of the 1979, Howard Ziehm classic by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

In the 1984 film, TOO NAUGHTY TO SAY NO, "Betty"(Angel) is a good little Catholic Schoolgirl, who attends the local convent. Betty is studying her scriptures hard, as it is the day before the school's final exam. However, no matter how much she studies, she is hung up on a single, word, which appears several times throughout the writings. That would is "begat". She's not quite sure what it means. However, little did she know that soon enough, she would get at a heavy dose of "begatting"(of orgasms!). That's because soon, Betty doses off to sleep, as she subsequently finds her in a world unlike the one that she is accustomed. To her, it all looks the same, that is until things take a turn for the perverse. [read the full review]

Jerry Butler seems to have it made: an uber-successful career in the rock n' roll industry, a ton of money and the mansion to go along with it, and a hot, fire-crotched girlfriend who loves him and who caters to his every need. Of course, as with everything, there's always a catch and a price to pay. You see, Jerry murdered his ex-girlfriend, Tigr, a substance abusing rocker chick who got him his start in the biz, and made it look like an unintentional O.D. ... and now he sees her and her face everywhere he goes and in everything that he does. Indeed, his psychosis has him in a severe, downward spiral that even his girlfriend, Colleen Brennan, seems unable to stop. Compounding all of this is the presence of Angel, a young, gold-digging hottie whom the pair has brought home...and whom Butler has difficulty discerning from the phantasm that is his deceased ex. Such is the case in "Star Angel", an exceptional, 1986 release from Command Video and director Cecil Howard. [read the full review]

However, Lola's career has come crashing down, as a result of her drug and alcohol addiction. She just can't keep it together, as demonstrated by her latest concert, which ended in utter disaster. The bad show causes outrage between fans and promoters alike. It has also put the couple at odds. as Lola and Luke argue about the former's now failing career. The two of them make up, and subsequently make time for a quickie however, this is after Luke gives his wife some pills, which later ease her into sleep. Unfortunately, it's a slumber that she does not wake from, as the star dies from an apparent overdose. Was it just merely an accident on Luke's behalf? Or, is it something that he had done purposely?
