review from 6/20/2015:
A former stewardess possessing the looks of a brunette goddess, it's easy to understand how the lovely Leslie (Lesllie) Bovee skyrocketed to the top of the adult film industry in the 1970's. Indeed, with a sexuality that matches her beauty, she was a one-of-a-kind performer, and this ultimately landed her in the AVN Hall of Fame...as well as in the hearts (and balls) of her many fans. Collected in this release, "The Golden Age of Porn: Leslie Bovee" (Gentlemen's Video), are five sexy sequences featuring this sultry siren of yesteryear that, while clocking in at just over an hour, still serve nicely to highlight the actress's varied and distinguished carnal career. review from 9/6/2017:
It's sex, lies, and audiotape, when a corrupt, hypocritical politician (Paul Thomas)--whose anti-porn campaigning is almost as flagrant as his ass-obsessed womanizing--opts to make a run for the Senate in the state of New York. Of course, behind him are myriad sordid characters, including a lowlife pimp (Joey Silvera), a more-and-more jealous by-the-minute assistant (Annette Heinz), and a German real estate tycoon seeking favors (R. Bolla)...all aiding him in maintaining both his campaign and his false, squeaky clean image. The only person standing in his way? A courageous reporter (Annette Haven) who's both onto his game and looking to show him for who he really is. Such is the case in "Public Affairs", a very good, 1983 release from Caballero and director Henri Pachard. [read the full review]

review from 5/12/2018:
Giving the phrase "going postal" a whole new meaning, it's one special delivery after another when Loni Sanders, a mailwoman who's as horny as she is committed to her job, takes care of both co-workers and clients alike along her route in "Please... Mr. Postman". A fairly good, 1981 release from Caballero and director Louis Lewis, this flick finds both Ms. Sanders, as well as her customers, partaking in all manner of mail-inspired, sexual mayhem. A beautiful, middle-aged writer (Kay Parker) plays with fire when she sets out to interview a well-known, down-and-dirty private investigator (Paul Thomas) and ends up getting herself oh so sweetly burned in "The Untamed". A very good, 1979 release from director Ramsey Karson and VCX, this production consists of five steamy sexual encounters recounted by Thomas as part of an interview, all of which lead up to the ultimate seduction of his enchanting questioner at his apartment. review from 8/9/2016:
When a young woman, played by Dorothy LeMay, catches her boyfriend red-handed (...and red-dicked...) cheating upon her on their anniversary, she decides that she's had enough and that she's going to hitchhike her way to San Francisco to become a star. Of course, it's just her "luck" that she finds herself in the hands of a talent agent with a pervy formula for success along the way. What ensues is a tawdry tale of tail, as Dorothy puts out for--and is pimped out to--client upon big-shot client. Whether sucking cock will ultimately lead her to the top...or, instead, to utter despair...remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Formal Faucett", an overall-good, 1978 release from VCX and director F.J. Lincoln. [read the full review]

It's like a totally awesome time, for sure, like ya' know... when a pair of 1980's LA dykes lose their source of income and opt to pimp out a local group of valley girls as a means of making ends meet. Of course the girls, who are totally tubular tarts to begin with, are all down for it, especially needing money to buy clothes at the mall and all, which is like having a super rad sale. review from 12/12/2005:
Another excellent compilation of old Swedish Erotica loops. This one features many vignettes that involve interracial sex scenes - with the best ones usually involving threesomes. One very good loop involves a moonshiner (Paul Thomas) getting it on with two chicks - a very pretty brunette and a black girl. The brunette straddles the moonshiner's hips as he drives his massive, throbbing schlong deep into her convulsing pussy. The black girl - hungering for the brunette's sweet pussy juices - dives down between the brunette's legs to begin cunnilingus, but is blocked by the brunette's shiny purple satin garter belt. review from 5/7/2016:
The Little Girls Blue series is a fun enjoyable adult film series that features the girls from an all girls boarding school and their antics at the school and at a summer camp. Fans of plotted barely legal adult films should find both films to be enjoyable. As far as this box set goes, VCX took their two individual disc releases and put them into a box for this set with nothing else included. The transfer for Little Girls Blue is acceptable but the transfer for Little Girls Blue Part 2 is in bad shape. Sadly, as of now this is the best way to get the two films. Hopefully at some point another company will put out a better release of both of them. [read the full review]

Kemal Horulu directs and edits WOMAN IN LOVE (1980, Caballero Home Video) with the lovely Laurien Dominque playing Christine Warren, a bored wife, who breaks from her dull hubby and their life on Long Island for a new job and other encounters in Manhattan. In a major role, Vanessa De Rio plays Simone Foster, a sex crazed catalyst for most of the sexual shenanigans that Christine encounters. A slew of bizarre sexual encounters unfolds for--and before--her when a ditzy, young blonde, Stacey Donovan, embarks upon a journey of orgasmic and sexual discovery in "White Women". An overall-good, mid-80s release from Coast to Coast and director Henri Pachard, this fun little fuck-flick features an all-star cast from the time period. Indeed, Stacey herself was quite well-known (although ultimately controversial), and her strong performance is supplemented by the likes of Little Oral Annie (anal), Rhonda Jo Petty, Danielle, and Paula Meadows. review from 3/15/2005:
"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" This is a fairly big title for Vivid, with all the contract girls, including Jenna, on display here, and with Paul Thomas directing... how could it go wrong? The Movie: The plot is simple. Paul Thomas and Evan Stone are producing a big budget, mainstream movie that features hardcore sex, and they think the Vivid girls would be the best possible performers. Lets cut to the sex. Each girl has a sex scene, with Tawny getting two, and then there is one big lesbian orgy. This is kind of like a Where the Boys Aren't, but with b/g scenes. The best scenes in this film belong to Sunrise and Tawny. Tawny has a boy girl scene with the pool boy, and she has just enough nastiness in her to make the scene stand out. Then she has a girl/girl scene with Jenna that turned out really good. Sunrise has a b/g scene with Chris Cannon, and the scene turned out really hot, although not very nasty. It has a kind of erotic quality to it. The scene is done in the shadows, and turned out really well. The Briana scene was hot. The key word there is was. [read the full review]

review from 4/9/2016:
Long Jeanne Silver is an odd film which will definitely not appeal to all viewers. It is essentially a showcase for amputee Jeanne Silver masking itself as a documentary. If you aren't into Silver or sex involving her stumped leg that resembles a giant penis, then this film won't appeal at all to you. Alpha Blue Archive's release suffers from coming from a beaten up print that looks ugly and poor extras. [read the full review]

review from 11/25/2009:
Jeanne Silver, a pretty amputee, appeared in men’s magazines and on San Francisco burlesque stages. She had the lower part of her left leg removed when she was a child. The remaining stump, extending several inches below her knee, is little more than bone covered with flesh. Director Alex DeRenzy uses the pseudo-documentary format to display Silver’s sexual habits. She fucks Amber Hunt during a threesome, impales two teenage students and even goes so far as to ram it up a homosexual’s ass. [read the full review]

review from 1/15/2007:
Alex DeRenzy produced more than a few good films during the 1970s but he also produced more than a few awful ones. This one falls into the second category. Simply a dumb way to make money off a gimmick. Long Jeanne Silver was a New York runaway who made her acting debut in Shaun Costello's Waterpower in 1976. She then came to San Francisco landing on The Mitchell Brother's doorstep. The Mitchells picked her up and put her in live sex shows. Soon washed up, DeRenzy decided to use her in one of his hardcore quickies and shot a standard vignette film with her peculiarity as the centerpiece. Now for those of you who don't know where Long Jeanne got her name, well...She doesn't have one of her legs (yes, you read that right) and uses the stump the same way gay boys use their arms! So Long Jeanne Silver (the film) is just that, consisting of scene after scene of Long Jeanne sticking her long john in lots of girls (and even one boy in by far the film's funniest scene). review from 9/2/2017:
It's a dark and lonely world for a corporate prostitute, Tish Ambrose, who, despite having all of her material needs met and then some, only finds true happiness in the letters of a mentally troubled war buddy, Eric Edwards, of her deceased brother. Indeed, Tish appears to have it all as the longstanding head-lady of R. Bolla's cadre of corporate cuties, who provide sexual services to both the better employees of his firm and corrupt politicians alike, yet her heart yearns to quench its emptiness. It's solely Edwards' writings that can fill this void, so it's with great happiness that she greets him when he finally gets up the courage to surprise her with a visit. Of course, this doesn't sit well with Bolla, her boss, whose strong-arm tactics clash with the pair's feelings for one another violently. How it will all end up--happily or in blood...or both--remains the unanswered question of the day. Such is the case in "Corporate Assets", an exceptional, 1985 release. [read the full review]

Overview Henri Pachard has mad some classic stuff, Budding of Brie, Jailhouse Girls, etc, etc. So does this slice of Golden Age pie taste sweet, or sour ? What I Liked Kinda cool seeing old faves like Rachel Ashley, Taija Rae, and Sharon Mitchell in their prime suckin' and fuckin'. As a lover of full bush ( yum ) , gotta say I dug full coochie rug look sported here. What I Disliked Well, the whole plot of mayhem ensuing on the day of a wedding rehersal, with new wave band guests appearing, and the groom disappearing was just way too silly. The sex was pretty tame, and quick. Anal ? Not here . Facials and big loads period, nah uh. So we have a bizarre plot, weak ass sex. Shit. DVD Quality Transfer of an oldie, you'd figure its not quite modern quality, and you'd be correct. Not grainy and splotchy though, just ok. Extras ? Ha ha ha. Overall Thoughts Not the best golden age flick, no, not by a long ass mile. [read the full review]

review from 2/27/2016:
All isn't right in suburbia, as the children of a well-off family headed by Paul Thomas and Gloria Leonard intermingle with the offspring of one of their poorer workers, R. Bolla. Indeed, the various inter-family relationships start out fairly typically, though still seedy and sexual in nature, but quickly spin and tangle into a wicked web of deceit and perversion as more and more secrets are uncovered. At the center of it all is the diabolical, black-tressed instigator, Raven, Gloria's and Paul's clearly disturbed 18-year-old daughter. review from 3/10/2006:
This is a compilation of some of Seka's best work - most of them from older Swedish Erotica loops. For those that like sex within threesomes, this is your tape as most of the loops feature two women (one of them being Seka) with a guy. Some are incredibly erotic - like the one starring Seka with Jamie Gillis and a very attractive young woman (who is uncredited, but appears to be none other than Lysa Thatcher - a hot little vixen from the Golden Age of Porn). The sex in this loop is extremely erotic - starting with Jamie spreading and holding the young vixen's sleek silk-stockinged legs apart with his hands - and then feasting on her sweet pussy while Seka undresses. Jamie finally pulls his tongue out of the squirming vixen's sopping pussy and loosens his grip on her stockings. With the vixen's pussy now fully primed by his cunning tongue, Jamie comes up behind the girl (who's laying on her back) and digs his massive cock between the back of her silky thighs up into her still-spasming snatch. review from 7/23/2017:
The frigid, disinterested mistress of an archaic mansion, Candida Royalle, and her philandering husband, Aaron Stuart, are not only having marital issues but are also having trouble keeping a good maid around. Of course, this is primarily because Aaron keeps fucking all of them, and Candida subsequently fires them. In to save the day ultimately pops a lovely witch, Veronica Hart, who takes on the role of the perfect (...and perfectly horny...) maid to help them all overcome their impediments. Indeed, in some ways akin to a kinky, darker version of "Mary Poppins", Veronica's character is a dick-raising, erotic enchantress who sates everyone's desires--and solves their various problems--with but a glance (...and her magical, multi-purpose pussy). Such is the case in "Delicious", an overall-good, 1981 film from director Bill Eagle that was re-released as part of an Adam and Eve "double feature". [read the full review]

Thereafter, Candy finds herself bumbling her way from one end of the country to the other, being taken advantage of by strangers, doctors, a cult leader, and even family members along the way. review from 8/22/2004:
This 1978 golden age classic by Bob Chinn is a lot of good, dirty fun. The set is convincing, and many have thought it was shot in a hospital although it was really shot on a sound stage in San Francisco. The acting is reasonably good, although the plot isn't complicated: a bunch of hospital patients who are more horny than sick, and three candy stripers willing to serve any way they can, including sexually. Many have commented that the women in classic porn are not as good looking as today's crop. Although that is generally true, Amber Hunt, for example, could hold her own even in today's porn biz. Arrow has done an outstanding job restoring sound and picture, and one of the cutest things about this movie is the song that was composed and performed for it. The fact that golden age adult films frequently had a song written specifically for them is one of the things that separates them from the current industry. [read the full review]

NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. CANDY STRIPERS ALL THERE Bob Chinns 1978 classic, Candy Stripers has been brought to DVD by Arrow Films, who has done a great job of restoring the film as well as giving us ALL of it (sort of). For those who havent heard, there are two infamous scenes in the film (both involving fisting) that have long been cut out for fear of the dreaded porn police. Both scenes are present on the DVD, but not in their original positions in the complete film, which remains edited in this presentation. [read the full review]

review from 1/22/2003:
I dont mind that Paul Thomas seems to think porn scenes are too longmany of them arebut in Believe It or Not 2 the director goes too far in the other direction: most of the scenes are too short. This is a 70-minute film, and each of its five sex scenes is preceded by an interview, the gist of which is dramatically fleshed out as the scene begins. It doesnt leave a lot of time for the sex. Well, at least it never gets boring. The films conceit is that only three of its five stories are true; the discs last chapter reveals which are fact and which fiction. (I got three right.) The idea works because the storytellers are porn stars and therefore just about anything seems possible. A couple having sex on a pool table in a crowded bar? A porn star screwing the security guard after signing autographs in a video store? Why not? If we believe this film, the porn-star stereotype was honestly come by; nothing in this film is so far out that it strains credulity. The scene that comes closest to doing so, however, is the films least appealing scene. [read the full review]

Talk of a local whorehouse at a dinner party rekindles old memories and repressed desires buried surface-deep within Annette Haven, a seemingly proper housewife with an extremely sexual past, prompting her to explore and act out her innermost fantasies in real life. Almost uncontrollably, she goes about doing so, giving in to each and every erotic whim along the way...often driven simply by shear impulse. She blows her hubby's friend (Paul Thomas) early on in her progression, has sex with perverts in an X-rated theatre, prostitutes herself out to a sailor on the street, and eventually ends up working at the bordello itself...all unbeknownst to her husband at home, John Leslie. V stands for Valerie in Robert Mc Callum's V THE HOT ONE (1977, Nu Tech Digital re-release) with the ever lovely Annette Haven as the lead heroine who leads a double life as "the matinee girl" of a brothel by day and a distinguished housewife by night. review from 1/25/2002:
Although it is unfortunate that both films have been cut and the picture quality in the first one is questionable, these are still two very well done films. If you are a fan of the classics, of either of these films, of school girl or summer camp themed movies you probably want to pick this disc up since this is probably the best treatment these films are going to get on DVD and since the packaging states that they are limited editions. Otherwise, I would avoid this title. [read the full review]
