The blonde beauty Jean Jennings' unorthodox initiation into the world of carnal delights at the hands of a depraved priest (Paul Thomas) ultimately finds the young, 19th century woman quickly transitioning from the role of sexual prey to that of perverted predator, all as recounted by a flea who latches onto her and lives to tell the tale. Such is the case in "Autobiography of a Flea", a very good, 1976 release from the Mitchell Brothers and director Sharon McKnight.

The end result is a decent plot-based film that is heavily lacking in the sex department. Viewers who like plot-based adult entertainment, the classics, couples and tame sex should enjoy this film. Viewers who require long sex scenes, nasty sex or hate porn with a plot will want to avoid this title. If you are interested in this film, you might want to contemplate renting it first, as you might be disappointed in it from a sex angle.
