Review:
The blonde beauty Jean Jennings' unorthodox initiation into the world of carnal delights at the hands of a depraved priest (Paul Thomas) ultimately finds the young, 19th century woman quickly transitioning from the role of sexual prey to that of perverted predator, all as recounted by a flea who latches onto her and lives to tell the tale. Such is the case in "Autobiography of a Flea", a very good, 1976 release from the Mitchell Brothers and director Sharon McKnight. Featuring the lovely Ms. Jennings as a nubile babe who attracts the attention of just about every male whom she encounters--including priests, her uncle, a local boy, peasants, her friend's rich father, and so on--it's near impossible for her to deny their constant and various advances (even if she were to want to), and it isn't long before these "attentions" fully bring her own nymphomaniacal tendencies to bear (bare?). With a fun and quirky storyline, strong acting, an exceptional female cast (including Annette Haven and the one-shot-wonder, Joanna Hilden), it's difficult not to recommend this film. Indeed, further complementing these pluses is the flick's generally steamy sex--particularly with Jennings in the limelight and a solid supporting cast. (It should be noted, however, that some of the sex does find itself short in length and more of it yet is softcore). Regardless, for fans of the classics, the Mitchell Brothers, Jean Jennings, Annette Haven, and/or features, this little gem of a production from porno past is more than worthy of a look. Be sure to check it out. It won't disappoint.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Jean Jennings, the stunning blonde star of the show, as a young woman whom a priest, Paul Thomas, tricks into a sexual encounter in his chambers (oral, vaginal). Scene Two is a continuation of the last, with Ken Scudder and John Holmes, fellow priests, barging in on the pair and taking consecutive turns with Jean themselves (vaginal--Scudder, then Holmes). Talk about the holy (holey?) treatment. In Scene Three, Jean turns the tables on her uncle--and would-be rapist--Dale Meador, and instead fucks him in her bed and against his will (softcore). Scene Four brings together a peeping padre, John Holmes, and Jean's aunt, the elegantly beautiful Annette Haven, after Holmes slips in through her window, thinking that she's Jean. He plows the taken-aback brunette for a few minutes before uncle Dale comes in to "save the day" (vaginal). In Scene Five, Jean is comically "raped" by a peasant, father-son duo, John Rolling and Michael Dolan, in a meadow (softcore). Scene Six has Jean's unwitting, brunette friend, Joanna Hilden, recounting a hazy tale of an oral encounter with Paul Thomas (to completion), whilst in Scene Seven, Joanna's face is covered as she lays upon a bed and her father--John Leslie--who thinks that he's "purchased" Jean from Dale, goes to work on her (vaginal, pop on her tummy). In Scene Eight, John Leslie claims Jean in the other room after the prior sequence has just concluded (vaginal). Scene Nine continues where the last left off, with Jean having sex with her uncle, Dale, and Paul Thomas taking the weary Joanna upon the floor, all whilst John Leslie sits back with a glass of wine and--somewhat befuddled--jerks off (softcore, other than the jerk-off). In Scene Ten, the drunken John Leslie succumbs to his perversions and pokes his daughter, Joanna, (...this time knowingly...) from behind and up against the fireplace as the others watch (cum-shot on her backside and back). Scene Eleven couples Jean and PT for one last romp, again with everyone looking on...or passed out(?), as is the case with John Leslie. This last pairing is fairly brief. Crazy, kinky stuff!
