Finding herself strangely (and a bit drunkenly) unsettled by her father's (John Leslie's) marriage to a younger woman in Virginia City, Desiree Cousteau (as "Peaches") races off down a canyon in her jeep, only to veer off of the road and crash...leaving her with a bad case of amnesia and a lost identity. Of course, it's just her luck that two low-life characters find her, steal her transportation, and exploit her for their own ugly purposes...setting off a cascade of difficult events for the young Desi that only seem to go from bad to worse.
