The Movie

Oui, Girls, likely named due to some now forgotten connection to the now defunct Oui magazine since the title makes no sense with the content of the film, is a comedy from Fred J. Lincoln. The plot for the film has private investigator Nick (Paul Thomas) and Barbara (Anna Ventura) going undercover at the Circle S Ranch, a swingers resort, to find a murderer. Don't get too attached to the plot though because it quickly gets discarded once Nick and Barbara arrive at the Circle S. The plot shows back up a couple of times for a moment or two but that is about it for the plot.

Despite the plot getting tossed away for most of the film, the film manages to amuse the viewer throughout with well executed comedy. One of the best aspects is Joey Silvera, playing the pervert, who stands masturbating watching Cora Thomas (Lisa De Leeuw) change her tire. This lighthearted amusing tone continues throughout the film.

Where Oui, Girls really excels though is the sex scenes. Oui, Girls is packed with sex scenes and they all look good. Oui, Girls features some great sexual performers and they give some very enthusiastic performances throughout this film. Not only do the sex scenes look nice but the whole film looks nice.

Despite the story being tossed away awful quickly Oui, Girls features a great cast and some great sex scenes, which makes this film worth watching.

The Edition

Impulse Pictures had done a good job with their release of Oui, Girls. Oui, Girls is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 in 480p. The print used has seen better days and is beaten, and scratched with print damage, artifacts, and grain. The print sports nice colors. There are a couple of moments where the color goes off. Despite being heavily used and beaten up the transfer is still watchable.

Oui, Girls is presented with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 monaural audio track. Dialog is clear and can be easily understood. The audio track does contain hiss throughout the film and lots of pops. Overall, the audio isn't bad.

Impulse Pictures hasn't included any extras on this release.

Final Thoughts

Oui, Girls, likely named after the defunct men's magazine, forgets that it is a feature film really fast however the film features some sultry sex scenes and nice photography making it worth watching. Impulse has done a decent job on this release.
