Scoundrels review summaries:
fu_q's
Living a superficial, upper-middle class life with his mundane, flimsy facade of a family, a mediocre psychiatrist (Ron Jeremy) finds himself stuck with an unfaithful wife (Lisa B.), who's cheating upon him with his best friend (George Payne) and also their daughter's quasi-boyfriend (Sean Eilliott). Thrown into the mix is said budding, but "invisible" daughter (Tigr), who's covertly exploring her own sexuality in all manner of bizarre and dangerous ways. Of course, for his part, Ron is cheating with a slew of prostitutes and his clingy secretary (Copper Penny), who happens to also be banging Payne, as well. On top of it all, Ron finds himself harassed throughout the film (during cut-scenes) by a large, talking white light, the identity of which is fairly easy to figure out, though it isn't formally revealed until the end of the flick. Such is the case in "Scoundrels", a very good, 1982 release from Command Video and acclaimed director, Cecil Howard. [read the full review]

Scoundrels (Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack) review summaries:
Flash's
Scoundrels is an excellent feature adult film from the golden age of adult films. The film was crafted with care and it shows in the end results. Scoundrels is a rather dark drama that uses hardcore sex along with the non-sexual portions to tell a story, instead of just having a story that exists to have sex scenes. Scoundrels is a must see for fans of feature-style adult films. Command Video has done an amazing job with their limited collector's edition Blu-ray and DVD combination package for Scoundrels with stellar image and audio quality and a wealth of extras. A trio of women out on the prowl (...one a virgin, one an adventurer, and the other a whore...), a hard-drinking, easy-fucking barfly, a jilted waitress and her former lover who left her for the boss's unfaithful niece, and myriad other colorful characters all collide in an NYC, pick-up bar...and the result is as dark and unfulfilling as its fucking is raunchy and sexy. I've watched a fair number of "classics" and most of them suck. This one's actually pretty good. It attempts to be a little better than the average porno without turning into a pretentous piece of shit. The original film was quality and the DVD transfer is done well. Best of all you get some stars when they were young and smoking, like Sharon Mitchell and Joanna Storm. I don't know why I've never heard of this one beforeif you like films from that era (about 1983), it's definitely worth a look. [read the full review]

Ball Game (Caballero) review summaries:
Flash's
Ball Game is a cheesy, corny, and fun adult film. The film entertains the viewer throughout and has some great sex scenes. However, the title is misleading and the film is more of a jailhouse story than a baseball story, so viewers looking for a sports themed adult film will be disappointed. Caballero has done a poor job with this release with a lack of extras and a poor transfer. [read the full review]

Satisfiers Of Alpha Blue, The review summaries:
andyblake's
This 1980 New York production may be the only Gerard Damiano video I've ever seen. Typcially, "golden age" adult movies are pretty tame by today's standards. That isn't the case with this one. Right away there's an anal scene, followed shortly by a double penetration. There's also a scene where a man is penetrated by a dildo. In the original movie, there was a fisting scene and a golden shower scene, both of which have been cut from this dvd (and, unlike Arrow's DVD of "Candy Stripers" are unfortunately not hidden in an easter egg). The plot involves a futuristic society called "Alpha Blue," in which the prevailing custom is sex without commitment or attachment. Herschel Savage (early in his amazing three decades-long career) is happy with this state of affairs, but R. Bolla pines for the good old days of love and romance. Bolla decides that he will woo Satisfier 805 (Lysa Thatcher) into falling in love with him. Bottom line: this is an amazing classic feature, one of the best golden age movies not made by Henry Paris (aka Radley Metzger). [read the full review]

A curious, young woman (Veronica Hart) finds herself further and further entranced by an enchanted mirror that she and a friend happen upon in the back of a low-rent, New York City clothing store. Sexcapades (VCA) review summaries:
lindi's
Synopsis This 1983 Henri Pachard classic is a wholesome romp. Raincoaters can pass it by unless they are just in the mood for a little fun. The quirky humor, goofy music, and nostalgic feel of Sexcapades may please people who enjoy the feel of Pink Panther movies. The plot involves a director attempting to make a porn film. Scene 1 Joanna Storm and Alan Adrian perform a fumbling audition for two bored porn producers. Her earnest but misdirected enthusiasm is a real hoot. At one point she stops the sex to put socks under her knees to prevent rug-burn. Peter Meter = zero Scene 2 Sharon Mitchell plays a sexually clueless wife in a fluffy, unsexy nightie. Her alternately prudish and giggling responses to husband Eric Edwards will leave you feeling smug. She throws in a few moans for his inexpert cunnilingus. Peter Meter = zero Scene 3 Cartoonish music accompanies this goofy sex scene between Ashley Wells and Michael Bruce. [read the full review]
