Sexcapades (VCA) Review

Synopsis
This 1983 Henri Pachard classic is a wholesome romp. Raincoaters can pass it by unless they are just in the mood for a little fun. The quirky humor, goofy music, and nostalgic feel of Sexcapades may please people who enjoy the feel of Pink Panther movies. The plot involves a director attempting to make a porn film.

Scene 1
Joanna Storm and Alan Adrian perform a fumbling audition for two bored porn producers. Her earnest but misdirected enthusiasm is a real hoot. At one point she stops the sex to put socks under her knees to prevent rug-burn.

Sharon Mitchell plays a sexually clueless wife in a fluffy, unsexy nightie. Her alternately prudish and giggling responses to husband Eric Edwards will leave you feeling smug. She throws in a few moans for his inexpert cunnilingus.

Scene 3
Cartoonish music accompanies this goofy sex scene between Ashley Wells and Michael Bruce. This amusing, anti-erotic demonstration of Murphy's Law shows a film crew dealing with Michael's wood problems, Ashley's uncooperative attitude and barely competent blow job, plus muffed lines, sweat-dripping, schedule problems, etc.

Scene 4
Sharon Kane straps one on for Lee Carrol in an uncomfortably tense girl-girl scene. Lee Carrol has desperate, vein-popping, gurgling responses being dildo-fucked in her pussy and ass. At one point, it looked more like someone trying to start a lawn mower than sex. The scene was compelling all the same, though the crotch shots were almost enough to make me a fan of shaved pussies.

This is a very short scene between Sharon Kane and Tony Santini. Since Tony's lizard-tongue had a starring role, it would have been nice if he had cleaned off the white coating. The scene was also followed by a creepy unbelievable female voice-over in a cigarette-cancer Brooklyn accent.

George Payne and Tiffany Clark are shooting a sex scene, with lots of funny coaching from the director. Frenetic and funny, the scene also manages to be erotic.

Scene 7
Mai Lin plays the maid, taken in the bathroom by Eric Edwards. Hokey 'Chinese' music puts me in mind of The World of Susie Wong, or something like that. The blow job and fuck were charming and sweet, with extra naughtiness for keeping the pajamas and panties on. This scene would have had my dick hard if I had one, but just to be accurate, I checked the Peter Meter.

Scene 8
Mai Lin and Lee Carrol double-team Eric Edwards to the strains of hokey western Bonanza-type music.

Summary
This movie has good replay value for us, and will be enjoyed mainly for its good humor, rather than its boner value, although my little white apron got a nice reception after the maid scene.
